So I'm working from home as I do and every $#*!ing time AT&T comes out and simply opens the door to this box I lose service, today was no different, a tech is out to place (BSW) buried service wire opens the box I lose service, the tech said I can't put you back into service unless I have a ticket what mother $#*!er, so you AT&T tech can take me out of service by accident but can't put me back into service on purpose….
AT&T has some big BALLS, they gave me a commitment of TUESDAY JUNE 28, they got me all the way tucked up. Someone will be out tomorrow between 8-12pm, and since I have to take the day off I want to be compensated, and to make things worse a manager came out to look at this mess and said there is NOTHING the matter with this box……The $#*!ery AT&T the $#*!ery.
So now I have to take an unscheduled day off

Every month am over charge since I signed up with AT&T 9 months ago. Every store tells you something different to what is told to you when you call the operators. All they want you to do is sign up so you can be trapped in that contract. Costumer service is the worst. I have to talk to a supervisor every time. They got ppl from god knows where taking your calls an they are very rude! If you got boost mobile stay there! Anybody is better than AT&T for me right now…
They charge me 234 dollars just for one month. They keep charging money every month it's the worst company i ever used.
Now that they are a big company. They don't care for people. Their customer service is horrible. It is almost impossible to resolve an issue on the first call.
I HAVE HAD THE UNFORTUNATE EXPERIENCE OF HAVING TO USE ATT AT MY OFFICE FOR INTERNET AND HAVE TO SAY IT IS, BEYOND DOUBT, THE WORST INTERNET. WHEN INTERNET FIRST CAME OUT, AOL WAS FASTER THAT THIS IS. FOR SOME REASON, ATT DOES NOT WANT TO PUT IN FIBER IN MY AREA, DOWNTOWN ORANGE, CA. IF I COULD CHANGE USING THEM FOR MY PHONES AND INTERNET, I WOULD.
BUT I JUST FOUND OUT THAT SPECTRUM IS COMING INTO MY AREA AND I WILL BE DONE WITH THIS HORRIBLE COMPANY THAT GETS TO CHARGE CUSTOMERS AND NOT GIVE US WHAT WE PAY FOR. GOOD RIDDANCE, ATT!
A company where the customer pays the consequences for the customer representatives mistakes. My wife and I set up our phones to have iPhone forever when we went to upgrade our phones we were told only one of our phones was set up for that upgrade plan and not the other which makes absolutely no sense why on earth would I only set that plan up being only 5 dollars more a month for just one of the phone on the contract…? When asked if they can make right on their mistake we were told there is nothing we can do that we have to pay off the phone and then I'm able to upgrade. All about what they can gain off their customers all scams.
Tried to book a plan for an upcoming US vacation. Buying online doesn't work, their forms want a phone number but don't take international ones. Support said they can help but it'd be best to wait a week as the plan would activate immediately. Waited a week, contacted support again only to be informed that "Oh - out network had an update and your phone no longer works with AT&T. But you can buy a new one from us...". Yeah right.

Every department and every employee gives a different answer, OR, they don't know all the information and details they should in order to give an accurate and CORRECT answer. The information varies from each person and department, I'm told one thing, then another by a different employee. Didn't apply my paperless discount for over a year, told me they couldn't find the date I switched even though my account clearly states I'm paperless. Was told I would receive 25% military discount but hadn't. I called and was told my bill had to be in my son's name and go on line to do so. I went on line was told I couldn't do that on line had to call. I called and was told I couldn't switch I had to debundle my account, pay MORE for my internet because if I debundled it the price would increase, THEN I could switch the cell portion into my son's name and we'd receive the family military discount.
Utter BS. 1 year later, 3 hours on the phone. 4 different employees, 1 manager and NO resolve and ALL gave different information. I don't care about the piddly cents. I care about getting what I'M TOLD I'll receive. I upgraded to a higher bundle because I was told we would receive the 25% discount with my son being on the account. Now that's not possible and now I'm paying almost $400/month for services.
I don't appreciate companies with no integrity.
Company has diminished over the last 10 years. Will make offers that will change without notice. Adding additional line gimmicks, will cost you more than original agreements. Don't fall for their gimmick offers. Acquiring the Direct TV service that is a separate company, will also be dissatisfied with. There is no correlation between the two companies. Other than both are poorly operated and owned.
I have through AT&T with my internet they have been good so far with that I had to have some work done and one of the workers came out and fix the internet then he asked me if I would like to sign up to get phones and that I would get $250 in cards for each phone that I signed up so I did it and I called two weeks after that to verify the gift certificate or shall I say the gift cards they said I should get them within 30 days I can call back after June 9th and find out if they send them out I call AT&T I get the run-around I've been on the phone for three days trying to resolve this their customer service is lousy they keep transferring me to different departments just to get me off the phone and then they disconnect me I was promised these cards and it's like they just want to get there Commission and then lie to you about getting the gift certificate cards they just tell you that to wheedle you in I will never do business with a T and T again I will be looking for it new internet as well I do not need to be put through this they have made it very difficult I hope you all have a better experience with them than I did mine was lousy
AT&T lied and is now attempting to take our money. We asked if we could move our service to NY and they told us we could with no charge, to just take the equipment with us. Well, they lied, when getting to NY we attempted to get internet and found out they don't service our area. So we found a service here that can, so we wanted to suspend our service until we got back to Florida. We were able to do that with the internet, but for the streaming service, they want to charge us $180 for the equipment. They never told us anything about this when we signed up. We had them check many times, giving them the address up north just to be sure. They lied! They are NEVER going to provide us with anything again.
Switching to ATT has been the worst choice I have ever made. I ported two numbers over from another carrier, I bought a new phone for one of the #s and wanted to keep my old phone for the other... ironically, the phone I bought ported fine, but ATT keeps loosing the acct information for the phone we are keeping... the only way to get them to provide service for this # is to buy a new phone which we dont need or want... I have to file a BBB claim :(
If everyone would just cancel their service and go to other providers we could really put them out our business. I was a customer for 9 years and after I changed services and paid off my phones they still didn't unlock them for me to use with another provider. I have upgraded and paid for 4 phones and they are all locked.
At&t used to be great, but have gone straight downhill in customer service in the last few years. I've been put on hold for 30 minutes to be hung up on right before a supervisor came on the line, after 3 calls still no solution I'm expected to go without phone service for 3 to 5 business days while they credit my account and then supposed to call back and authorize another payment once I finally received funds ( money is tight only had enough to cover my bill to begin) but now because it will be late by then I have to pay a higher amount. My advice go with any company other than at&t because they are the worst.
At first, AT&T offered a deal or special to keep the prices lowER and keep us as a customer. After the deal was over, the rep over the phone informed me that there were no more specials and the bill was going to go up from $106 to $127. I was unsure if I could afford any higher of a bill being a single parent, but the rep assured me the bill wouldn't increase from the $127. The next bill was $200.95 and the email I got for the NEXT bill said that it would be $199.35. That wasn't even including any special packages, only the most basic cable & basic low speed internet. NOPE! NOT gonna do it anymore AT&T! I have been a long time customer but you have taken advantage too many times!
1- On 5th of may I signed up for an At&t internet account. We paid 99 dollars plus the first month's bill.
2- On the 9th the tech rep came and installed the internet.
3-That point we realized that it was not the connection speed promised by the sales reps at the store. Much much slower. Other companies provide much better service. (promised 300mps, received 14mps. Now with Xfinity we get 300mps. So it is AT&T's bad.)
4-So we cancelled our internet on 22nd, WITHIN THE 14 DAYS CANCELLATION PERIOD.
5- Since we were in the 14 day period after the installation, we were fully refunded, both the bill and 99 dollars deposit.
6- In 20 days, I receive an e-mail saying we have to pay 99 dollars. After the cancellation and we stopped using the service, returned the equipment and they paid the 99 dollars back because they failed to deliver what they promised and we cancelled our service in 14 DAY PERIOD.
7 - Now they are asking 99 dollars from us. I cannot reach to call center because it says "for us to help you first you pay your bill".
8- People on the "chat" section on the website cannot do anything. They say this is a valid charge because they set this up on your house. When I say, it was not what I was promised and cancelled it in the frikking 14 day period, they say call the call center. But I cannot reach to call center.
It is a joke. I hate myself for choosing AT&T in the first place. Stay away from these people!
1. No one showed up when supposed to
2. Called customer service 4 times (one time I was left on hold for 2h 6minutes (I hung up after that, couldn't wait anymore)
3. They rescheduled instalation for NEXT week, no one is available sooner
4. So frustrating experience, I you want to lose your nerves go with AT&T

After getting ATT internet (which is great) we switched from verizon to save money. (they had an awesome deal for internet users). From the 2nd day, we had issues. Service is fine but the entire trade-in process has been horrible. They lost one of my phones and have yet to issue me the credit for that. This is only after no less than 10 calls that are averaging over an hour and into 2 hours each. My 1st bills that were supposed to be $200 were over $300. This is because they apply trade ins after theyve been sent in and reviewed in some warehouse. Which can take up to 3 months. This was not explained to me beforehand. Only after several calls of "why is my bill so high? Im writing this as I'm on the phone with billing yet again after 3 months and ive been on the phone for an hour and a half without a clear resolution. Phone still lost. If youre starting fresh with ATT, you might have a better experience but beware if youre trading in. Get all the facts because they missed a ton of info that if Id known it was going to be like this, I would never have started this misadventure.
Answer: Terrible service, this is the worst service I've ever had. Canceled all services with this company after my customer service experience. Customer service is horrible, their service in general is horrible, and they don't offer anything I can't get at any other competitors store. I wouldn't recommend service or work with this company, they are discriminatory and bias. All they do is take advantage of you and try to sell you stuff that you don't need so they can raise their commission. If you want to be serviced by a bunch of dilettantes, this is the place for you, bad service, work, and experience, Joshua at legacy village has terrible customer service experience.
