The reviews reflect a predominantly negative perception of the company's overall reputation and customer service. Customers frequently express frustration with long wait times, ineffective support, and unresolved billing issues, leading to a sense of distrust and dissatisfaction. Complaints about unauthorized charges and poor communication from representatives are common, suggesting systemic problems in service delivery. While there are occasional mentions of product reliability, the overwhelming sentiment indicates that customers feel neglected and undervalued. This pattern points to a pressing need for the company to improve its customer service protocols and enhance accountability to regain consumer trust.

They will not give me my trade in money 250 dollars I have waited a month and a half unbelievable bad service I am on my way to the bank to file a claim for the money they ripped me off for. Please don't use this company poor customer service I am beyond mad
I give them a star because they answer my calls but the service is the worst, they lie to you, they charge you for services that they do not give you and the reimbursement is blatantly stolen. I do not understand how they have not yet been sued for defrauding customers. That company should be fined and closed for the good of others.
I signed up for a broadband with several cashback coupons. Later on they told me, one of the coupons, the lowest value one of $50, invalidated the other $250 and $150 coupons, even though all three were checked out successfully.
Called a special customer service for gift cards, with a long wait time of 45 mins, only to hear there's nothing they can do. Promised to ask a manager to call back, never happened.
Never again. ATT is a shady business. Will disconnect from them and look for honest alternatives.
I was perfectly happy with T-Mobile who I have been with for years. I was trapped in a high-pressure sales situation while attempting to grocery shop and despite that I said no and that I wasn't interested, he continued to bother me. The deal sounded great as I was supposed to get 2 brand new Samsung Galaxy 22's for free and pay less monthly than I am paying now. This was TOTAL bull$#*!. I was told my bill would be $120 with all the service fees and taxes "out the door" he said. I was told about the one-time activation fees and that I would get discounts on by bill for trading in my old phones, which I did. This person was intrusive, showing me with ingenuine compliments, literally like, "I like your watch, I like your tattoo, I like your this, asking me a million questions that were none of his business to build rapport. It was over the top and frankly, creepy. I just wanted it to be over so I went with it to make it end faster rather than just walking away, which is what I should have done. My first bill came and it was $360! There is so much crap on your bill it's difficult to understand and when I called to ask for explanation, I didn't get a whole lot of clarity. The customer service rep did credit the activation charges to drop it by $60. By the way, the phones are free. You are paying installments each month and they give you a small credit back, but they are discounted, not free. Also, my monthly bill going forward would have been $140 not $120 out the door. Those trade ins - yep, you might get somewhere between $4 to $20 for your old phone and I had a nice S10 Edge plus and S9. A company that uses deceit to lure you in is not a company that will be trustworthy at any point in the process because clearly your best interests as the client aren't even on the radar. This is profit-seeking, greed, exploitation and abuse of power. I will be posting this on every forum I can find to help educate the public about these shady tactics. If you are happy with your company, don't jump ship. I will be looking at how to switch back to TMobile.
At&t was a fraud, they basically, cannot refund my credit I called them multiple time for my refund. Costumer service I spoke who didn't speak an English well enough was a total messed. They charged me twice and I am asking for a refund. Now, what they can't even give my money back. Beware of this service..
I work in IT and I can understand unreasonable wait times, but to make me wait 2 hours to just kick me off the line when they said it would take 10 mins at most is the most f*cked up thing i've ever seen. DO NOT USE AT&T home internet. You WILL have issues and when you do, don't expect any assistance. Unbelievable and shameful for how much I get charged for this service.
I was with Sprint for 10 years. I decided to go with AT&T after they offered to lower my bill by $100. I met with a third-party AT&T representative at a local Target in Westminster Colorado, this is where the scam started. I was told if I signed up for AT&T and brought my service over from Sprint that they would pay off all four of my phones within 90 days. I sent my phones in time and they were lost! After 90 days I had to call AT&T because I was receiving calls from Sprint said they were going to send me to collections due to the phones not being paid off by AT&T. I called AT&T after I received this call, I was told that the phones were lost in the warehouse and for me to call back at a later date. After calling a couple times over the next couple months the phones were found and finally found and the representative I spoke with said they were paid off. Fast forward to July 2022, I check my credit report only to find out that I'am in collections for $2018. I called AT&T, after being on hold for an hour and speaking with numerous representatives, I was told that this was never a promotion they offered. I'am now stuck with this bill for the phones that I submitted to AT&T when I switched over my service. I feel like I might not be the only person out here that was scammed by AT&T. #AT&TScam
Very poor service, internet drops 3 or 4 times/day, maybe more. They also increase you bill $3 to $5 per month. When you call to complain, they decrease the rate as if they are doing you a favor, they wait 1 month then the begin adding the $3 to $5 per month again. They also tell you your equipment is outdated and you need new equipment, they give you a number to call for the new equipment... that person wants to run a test. The right hand does not know what the left hand is doing!
AT&T finally told me they would send me a replacement wired DVD receiver, it came second day air however instead of a a wired DVR receiver I received a wireless receiver. I called Tech support again and told them my problem. I was on the phone for app. 1.5 hours and was told a tech would bring me one and install it on the 25th and this was the 19th. I didn't want to wait that long since it doesn't take a rocket Scientist to install a receiver. I then called AT&T customer Service to tell them I wanted it sent next day air. After nearly an hour and a half they finally consented to mail me one and I would receive it on the 21st. I hope I am lucky enough to get the correct receiver this time. Rotten service!
So our family decided to go with At&t because we needed wifi calling and we didn't have that with our provider. So ever since our bill has been up and down! My husband and I had turned in phones so they were suppose to take 10.00 each month, we'll they took mine away... not sure why my 36 months are not up! The other BIG one is charging us for Free phones... I got the Cyber Monday deal 2021 last year and they have been charging me for "FREE PHONES "! I called spent well over 2 hrs on the phone with them. I thought is was taken care of had a big credit and the cost finally showed up as a credit... But it doesn't end there just got a bill 7/14/22 and they took the credit off of one of the phones! So then my mother in law needed a new phone so they had a special 2.00 for a samsung 136u so they credit us 4.95... so now that stopped So now I have to call them again and explain everything! This is RIDICULOUS! Photo shows only 2 credits when there should be 5
It takes over an hour to connect you to someone useless who is not even in the state, unbelievable! How are they even in business?! Anytime I have to deal with them my blood pressure goes so high!
They know where I live there are two options for internet providers, both are terrible. Att forced me sign a yearly contract, and has absolutely no customer service. They will lie and tell you what you want to hear, hang up on you, transfer your call from one person to another, tell you wrong department, tell you they have a bad connection and will call you back, but never do! This is a terrible way to conduct business! If you enjoy being lied to and hung up on, get their service
Salesman offered me, that if I switched from Metro to ATT, I will end up paying the same I was paying, but with the catch they will give me a new and better phone.
Since I made the change they have charged me, almost double than promised.
I have called many times, but no way to have the problem fixed
Their agent has made a duplicate account under my name, without me knowing about it, I've been paying double! Worst costumer service ever! A bunch of people with absolutely NO idea what they're doing, nothing is in place, none of the departments are connected to each other, all their employees are scammers, be aware
I purchase A cell phone through AT&T for my business and since I did a supervisor called me 3 weeks after set up to see what happened to my internet I told him no one told me it was 400 and my cell bill 300,700 total first month bill. I'm seeking legal action against att for their business practices
Someone i know got a phone, traded in an old one for the $800. Picked their plan. Was told it would be $100 for a couple months then their bill would level out to the regular plan bill amount. This morning they were charged, not $100 but instead, $150. How do companies get away with not being up front and honest?! I'm prepaid with them but this has seriously downgraded my opinion of them. I think I'm going to switch companies. I was with this person and he was very good about double verifying the costs and every time they told him the same thing, the same price. They laid it out so he could see every charge and how this works and yet still charged a different amount. It's just very disappointing, especially since I encouraged him to go to them. I guess prepaid is always the way to go. I've never once seen any company be honest about a contracted plan. Come on att, inflation is a terrible thing right now. Do right by your customers. Anyone you see that got charged $150 after purchasing a new phone with the $800 trade in, you should consider readjusting what you charged, and charge them the $100 you have employees telling them about, instead of being dishonest and overcharging them! For gods sake its his freaking bday man. You don't even give them a copy after making the deal and having them sign. What do you care, you already locked them into a contract, right. Smh how sad
This samsung aso22 phone was the worst phone i ever bought A AUTO CORRECT never worked B i could never get sms codes ever C the screen just went blank on me D then using it the phone it caught on fire burn my hand pretty good and also caught my couch and carpet in fire really thinking about suing you guys please send me a email to fix all this at *******@yahoo.com thanks. I still had 3 weeks of service left also thanks
Hi everyone
It was my mistaken to change my carrier to AT&T, since two moths I was enrolled to ATT, never get any good services, they didn't give me internet but charge me for services, its two months, im everyday on the phone to solve the problem, but no anybody can help. When I called att for service then they passed me to another person or gave me another phone number just play game to me, after that I trying to find lawyer bring them to the curt, its two months I don't have life always on the phone with att, just recommend don't involve yourself to AT&T
And also for phone when you going somewhere the phone doesn't have any services,
So the woman from the AT&T the store located at 31 East 17 St New York did a tacky and ghetto job transferring my devices from Verizon to this provider. She had four lines I was not using which caused this huge mess! I couldn't use my IPad I was locked out my phones had the wrong SIM card in the IPad just trash service and it's been that way up until 10 minutes ago when God sent Lisa from the Midwest wiped everything clean and got my service up and running. From the dusty AT&T reps on Fulton St with they no having service in the store to the phone rep Charles/John who took an hour just to figure out the the SIM card wasn't activated the whole process of trying to transfer has been raggedy. But Bless Lisa who in less than 40 minutes solved the problem!
MY EXPERIENCE WITH ATT WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD WITH WITH BUSINESS IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. THE CALL THEMSELVES A PHONE COMPANY BUT THE PHONE SERVICE IS SPORATIC AT BEST. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS VERY RARELY ANYTHING BUT INCOMPETENT. ATT WIRELESS IS A FRAUD ON THE AMERICAN PEOPLE. THEY ARE GOOD AT TAKING (STEALING REALLY) YOUR MONEY. THAT'S ABOUT ALL THE ARE GOOD AT.
Answer: Terrible service, this is the worst service I've ever had. Canceled all services with this company after my customer service experience. Customer service is horrible, their service in general is horrible, and they don't offer anything I can't get at any other competitors store. I wouldn't recommend service or work with this company, they are discriminatory and bias. All they do is take advantage of you and try to sell you stuff that you don't need so they can raise their commission. If you want to be serviced by a bunch of dilettantes, this is the place for you, bad service, work, and experience, Joshua at legacy village has terrible customer service experience.
Answer: At this point I am so disgusted with a T and T your customer service skills are horrible they don't help you out they keep transferring you to different departments just to get you off the phone they do not like to resolve problems and promises that they made they do not keep their promises they get you into getting into their products and getting their commission and then they screw you out of what they promise you I do advise anybody to go through a TNT they are lousy
Answer: Because they never really will cancel your service! They overcharge you and when you finally get a hold of them they still refuse to help.
Answer: To answer your question, Simply there is no accountability at AT&T. They bounce you around and they make NO attempt for resolution.
Answer: I use to work for AT&T, they have gone from bad to worse to I don't give a damn, and that's a shame
Answer: That is just silly. He wldnt be a multi millionaire if his businesses were bad. You forget, everybody loved him till he announced he was conservative. Isn't it all the democratic mayor's and governor's states that are going to shit? Or would you rather take crime over parent choice?
