At&t is nothing but a bunch of rip off bastards I've been dealing with them for over 5 yrs now every promotion they have they lie about it they've been charging me for a basically new phone I traded in they give me 350 instead of the 800 they advertised this time they also have the done me wrong on several other promotions I'm thinking about getting a lawyer to sue for false advertisement. This thing made me give a rating it's making me give at least 1 star at&t doesn't deserve that I would give them a 00.
They have haven't gotten my bill correct in over 7 months. Today was the last straw. I have been with them for over 20 years and I'm done. Bill went from $157 to $199. Nope not calling them again and not paying this crap. DONT USE THEM FOR CELL OHONE OR INTERNET. THEY ARE HORRIBLE. IM DONE FOREVER
We recently switched to ATT and are very disappointed with the service. We traveled to another country and was billed roaming messaging fees despite a pocket WiFi. We were told our pocket wifi was probably working intermittently so roaming was charged even if we had international roaming off. Another thing is my short code messages were not being received from day one. I had to call to have it fixed. Now our trade in was not accepted because they said we did not removed the passcode. We were not aware that we had to removed the passcode. They said to put it on factory settings and remove the sim card. I was under the impression that by putting it on factory settings the passcode was removed. They said we have to manually remove the passcodes on our Galaxy phones. Now we have to pay for our new phones and monthly credits were removed. We are so disappointed with ATT. We have 90 days to return the our phone so we may return our phone at this point if this is not resolved.
Happy with the installation service, and the tech who took down my details corrected a whole bunch of problems created by the salesperson at the POS. I'm still having to contact their fraud service (recommended by the tech) and that's been a chore since the number they gave me is either not in service or I get put on hold (nothing but dead air) and I have a very limited cell data plan (NOT AT&T) and can't afford to hang on for 45 minutes for them to get to me.
I had at&t wireless. Way overpriced. I canceled my service and went with a new carrier. Was billed for the coming month, used 1 day of
service. Was told by 2 customer service people that I would get a credit for unused days. Now, after 3 months, customer service tells me they don't prorate. I paid $93 for a month of service I only used one day of. I also had a landline that I canceled, but that was pprorated. AT&T is the worst company I've ever dealt with. Would definitely not use them for anything.
One thing guaranteed about ATT is unreliable service and outright lies about coverage. Do not take ATT coverage maps at face value, in my case my old area of where I worked showed complete 5G coverage but the reality was only 4G with ATT explaining "map discrepancies" used as an excuse.
Personally I had much better service with a prepaid service and MUCH less cost.
I am a business person that has been with AT&T for quite some time. I am tried of trying to explain my situation with someone who has broken English. They don't understand what business customers are asking about the services. I have problems with the services and trying to talk to ANYONE with broken English is like looking for a needle in a hay stake.
They put you on hold, transfer you to department that can't help you and by the time you get someone you have to repeat yourself all over again. By the time you get to the correct department you are so mad that you are pissed out with the person you should have been speaking to from the beginning of the call.
I am so done with AT&T it's time for my business to create years with another company.
If I could of left no stars I would have this company is a fluke and complete money hungry they only record half of their customers conversations so they can argue with you
Att needs to do alot of work. To improve their service. They don't value their customers at all. When you complain they do not thing. To make it better. I refuse to use their chat service. You can call ten times. You make only get one agent. Who will half way help you. In the right way. They don't know what they're doing. Keep putting you on hold to do nothing. A waste if time they don't know how to get the information. For your account I always request a supervisor. Which they refuse to get one. They've hung up on me several times. I've been with att going on six years now. Does it matter not at all. Only thing that dies with them. Is when my bill is due. That they get their money. All they care about. Called the other day. To upgrade my phone. I was told to go into the store. Niw it says you can do it online. Set it to pick up at the store. Was I able to do it that way of course not why not. The agent didn't know how to do it. So of course I have to go into the store. To make sure it's done right. I've complained about their service for years. Has an acceptable rousultion been given. Not at all everything is still the same. Agents aren't well informed at all. Long as I've been a customer with them. You'd think they'd value that not at all. I get a better offer from other companies. Who want my business more then att. They will tell you one thing do another. I'd say record your calls with them. For your protection if you don't do that. You'll have a fight on your hands. Deal with them at your own risk. I do reviews to warn ppl. About bad service so they don't have to go through. All I have dealing with them. If you don't do your dugilengence. Then that's on you I've done my part. I always look for reviews. They matter make a difference for sure today. ATT doesn't care about it's long time customers. Which is very sad indeed. I recommend going elsewhere. Before dealing with them

Have got the run around since August.Was promised 800.00 trade in to switch companies and have proof.
Will not except any responsibility. Went today to switch back to Tmobile.Had to pay for phone I. Full.Said phone would be unlocked in up to one hour.Had to wait at Tmobile for 90 minutes,called back and was told up to 48 hrs. Representative at tmobile is a witness. Stay away!
As of today myself my brother and sister have not received payments from last year. When you try to contact them their website is the only way to contact them about towr leases. Their website doesn't work most of the time. When I did finally get through they kept telling me I needed to fill out additional forms but I couldn't get into the site to fill out the forms. After 2 weeks trying to get them to fix the problem I get an email that says the case is closed. With no details.
As others have stated the surprise extra charges on the bill every other month on top of terrible data service, this company is not worth it and should be avoided at all costs. Wish I had seen reviews before hand to deter me from making the mistake of choosing this company
This scam of a company upgraded my internet plan without asking, then when I noticed and called to downgrade attempted to charge an additional month's fee. Had to be on the phone for 2 hours to remove this fee. Never will use ATT again, a scum company
I purchased AT&T phone and internet service in May of 2022. I was promised a bill of approximately $129 per month. Immediately they sent a bill for $149/month. After repeatedly going back to the AT&T store several times, I wound up paying $140 per month - after paperless billing. Also, they promised me a $300 gift card for signing up. They did not mention that it had to be "claimed" by me within 120 days. I never received the card. Life happens and I forgot about it for a while. My GF reminded me about it the other day (April 2023). I called to ask why I had not received it and was then told that I could no longer claim it since it was past 120 days. I was promised that $300, but not told about this 120 day bull$#*!. Now they will not honor their promise to me.
I have cell service issues where I didn't have them before(dead zones). The internet is not any faster, and periodically runs slow, or is out all together.
I am especially dissatisfied over their promising a $300 reward for signing on, and I do not recomend their services to anyone.

I just wanna give a great big shout out great review to the AT&T employees at university circle AT&T, these guys really deserve a raise. The way that they were so patient and determined to help my situation yesterday as I was at that particular store.
They helped me get the results and satisfaction I needed yesterday as my phone had shut off because I had been ill and couldn't attend to my bill. I was upset because it costed more than I could afford to turn it back on so they assisted me in getting great help and results as far as payment arrangements etc. to the point that I was more than satisfied. There was one particular young man that was very persistent and did not stop until I was completely satisfied His name is Raymond( Ray) is what they call him. These employees names are Malik, Ray, Porter, and I think the managers name is Deante they were all great!;-)
Do not believe anything anyone tells you. They lie and will steal your money. I had been a customer for almost 20 years but left when they were illegally slowing down my "unlimited data". I only came back because I had heard that the consumer protection agency had fined them and made them pay 56 million dollar refund to their customers. Unfortunately, they did not learn anything. They are even worst now, since my return 11 months ago, they lost 2 of my 3 trade in phones. They are refusing to credit me for those phone trade in discounts. They finally found the phones after I supplied them with serial numbers. They gave me a $1400 credit for those phones but they continue to charge me full monthly prize for those 2 phones. This means that I will pay $2200 for two phones worth $2000. It also means I am paying for the credit out of my pocket. And to add insult to injury the one phone they did credit my account with has a monthly discount that disappears every other month. I am also being charge twice the monthly charges for the phones they are billing me full prize. I would recommend you stay away from AT&T and find someone else for any service but specifically cellphones. They are crooks and have a lousy customer service that will lie through their teeth.

I have a family plan a different carrier, my family was sweet talked into switching they did, but my line was the only one switched… the same day they immediately cancelled everything and I was placed back on my original carrier, without being able to receive calls or make them… I gave them 3 days to fix it (with my original carrier) & since I was having the same issue I finally decided to call, they apparently placed a Port connection lock on my line and now REFUSE to unblock it. They have been telling me to just dial *7678 and everything would be fixed immediately after dialing & getting a "the number you have called is not complete" they said oh well if you want to unblock the port you will have to turn in your phone…. I BOUGHT MY PHONE A YEAR AGO DIRECTLY WITH APPLE! & now they continue to refuse to unblock the port connection. Not to mention this was all done without my authorization.
AT&T told me I would have to upgrade my plan only AFTER I took delivery of my two new I Phones! The new plan would cost me about $40 a month more!
Answer: Terrible service, this is the worst service I've ever had. Canceled all services with this company after my customer service experience. Customer service is horrible, their service in general is horrible, and they don't offer anything I can't get at any other competitors store. I wouldn't recommend service or work with this company, they are discriminatory and bias. All they do is take advantage of you and try to sell you stuff that you don't need so they can raise their commission. If you want to be serviced by a bunch of dilettantes, this is the place for you, bad service, work, and experience, Joshua at legacy village has terrible customer service experience.
Answer: At this point I am so disgusted with a T and T your customer service skills are horrible they don't help you out they keep transferring you to different departments just to get you off the phone they do not like to resolve problems and promises that they made they do not keep their promises they get you into getting into their products and getting their commission and then they screw you out of what they promise you I do advise anybody to go through a TNT they are lousy
