No one at the store will help you unless it is to set up a new plan or get a new phone. A whole day and 4 hours of the next day and I still have no resolution and mostly because when you hit 1 for English you get someone that struggles to understand and speak English. Billing is almost always adding stuff and it is another 2 hours trying to get it fixed. I don't even know how they are still operating! I would not give them one star! Trust me, GO Verizon! Definitely switching back even If I have to pay extra for a cell booster at my home.

Decatur, Illinois is the only place that my service sucks, every other city service is great but when I come home I can't get service in certain spots to save my life. AT&T yall gonna have to do better than this cause word is Verizon works everywhere in Decatur. I've been with yall a loooong time and I'd hate to let yall go because yall being cheap and won't address customer needs. I'm not the only one every AT&T customer can't get service in the same parts of town. I've address this issue before and was told yall was installing more towers I've yet to see it.TALK IS CHEAP,PHONE BILLS ARE NOT!

I could not be more pleased with the quality of service I received from AT&T regarding internet as well as tv. In the modern area, service, especially in terms of connectivity is defined by reliability. I began using AT&T out of college when I moved up to a new big city by myself and a dog, not knowing anyone. AT&T provided me an avenue that I used to find interaction between. It's not easy moving to large cities, with a pet, at age 22, but AT&at provided, every month for 7 years reliability as well the ability to learn, collect and process information, and meet people. Thank you AT&T for being there when I need you most!

Been with ATT for over 19 years. They had some issues during the Direct TV merger but seemed to fall back on track so stuck with them. No discounts, no thank you for loyalty nothing in those 19 years so when I heard COX was offering mobile with your COX cable account for $45 a month that was about $50 cheaper than ATT's comparable plan I jumped all over it.

Had my account shut down, transferred number over to COX and then found out that ATT had been charging me for an account that was suppose to be shut down, was not on their service and ipad data not working anymore.

Over an hr on tech support with billing and supervisors and they refuse to credit the account. Payment will not be made and disputing this to the fullest extent.

My 83 year old grandma got a letter saying AT&T fiber is now in your area! Sign up now to save 30$ a month! That was a lie, we got the regular deal no savings. We made an appointment for installation of tv internet and phone service. The first appointment was a month out, they called literally 5 times in the preceding 5 days to confirm the appointment between 8-10 am, (they called at 9:30 pm a couple times and My grandma sleeps at 8!). When the day arrived at 8 and parked down the street, they called at the last minute(10:00 on the dot) as I watched them drive away, saying "the infrastructure in your area is not complete and you must reschedule after it is complete. 10 minutes later we get an automated message "the infrastructure is now complete in your area please reschule your appointment. We did, another MONTH away. They arrived at 8 this morning, parked down at the end of the street, waited until 10am, drove away while calling to say "the infrastructure is still not complete in your area please reschedule. We called on speaker phone, My grandma said " we want to cancel because we are getting tired of dealing with this sh**", the tech told my 83 year old grandmother to "who are you? Watch your mouth when you talk to me". So we had to call the phone tree to try to talk to a human which is impossible in order to try and cancel, which took about 45 minutes and the lady got rude when we did not know our account number of our service that we haven't received yet. So all in all this was a terrible experience and we are sticking with xfinity which has been a breath of fresh air.

Charge you an arm and a leg for cable & phone service, call customer care and can't even understand what these foreigners are saying or what you're saying to them, as they charge you, regardless of cancellation of an or add-ons or promotional services, as they will not put through the cancellation and then charge you FULL FEE ON NEXT BILL PAY. ALWAYS A DIFFERENT PRICE EVERY MONTH ON BILLING, but never goes down, only up and more expensive…
AT&T is a TOTAL RIP OFF AND WILL ROB YOU BLIND ….

Just leant my Nephew - an army veteran with
3 tours in Iraq - almost 3000 dollars so he can pay them for roaming charges that should have been 50 dollars! He wife is pregnant with their 3rd child and and her blood pressure and anxiety is causing harm to her health and their unborn baby's health. She traveled to visit her mother in Costa Rica and they received a bill for 2850 dollars when she returned. They called and were told that someone - and said their representative- removed the 50 roaming charge limit. Now they are telling my
Nephew that he can't prove it wasn't him that removed it. Way to treat your customers AT&T! Pretty soon you won't have any customers left!

******BEWARE OF AT&T******
Long post but you might want to consider reading about our experience.

So in an effort to cut expenses to save money, My husband for the first time looked at our AT&T bill in detail. We found a charge for $5 per phone line for something called Next Up Program. They've been charging us this every month since 2021. We just normally looked at the summary. Anywho, I did some digging and some people posted that their sales people will add it to your account to up their sales, apparently we aren't the only ones surprised by this charge. Now, we called them and asked for the service to be disconnected and since we didn't consent to this charge, we wanted the entire amount credited to our account. After over 1 hr of going back and forth waiting for a "manager" the lady came back on the phone and said a manager only approved 4 months of credit in the total of $40. I told her that was not acceptable and asked her to show us proof that we consented to this charge. Finally some guy gets on the phone and tells me the charge is non-refundable and based on their "investigation and protocol", they can only credit us $10 for this month but nothing else. I asked him what happens to the $40 they first offered. He danced around with his answers and basically he dropped it to $10 as punishment for us standing our ground. And because the charge has been taken out for the last 3 years and we never complained than that's on us. Basically, he's saying by not bringing it up sooner we consented. I kept asking for proof of our consent and he said and exact words "based on the notes, nothing specifies you consented to the charges, but also, nothing specified that you declined it" WTF?!?! He said we could escalate it to corporate. I asked him for corporate 's number or email and he said he couldn't provide me that information, that I could look it up online. Another WTF? Moment. I find it hard to believe he can't provide me with that information. This guy's name is Santos employee # *******, if that's his real information?
Att&t and it's people are a bunch of scumbags! So check that DETAILED bill every month!

Yours Truly,

Future former AT&T customer.

Crooks
May 3, 2023

Purchased what I thought was new iPhone 14 and received refurbished iPhone 14 that will not charge past 65% and doesn't charge for long. I called only to be told if I pay additional $250 I could have insurance and do my own claim. I will absolutely switch carrier services.

Warning! Stay away from the middlemen like Walmart, Sam's Club and others. I was promised 2 free phones, which was a lie (it was a trade-in). I was also promised $40 monthly payments (lie). My first bill was $332 monthly for 2 phones, that were charged to my account after cancellation. Although they said that you have 14 to cancel (buyer's remorse), I received the bill 15 days after signing up, nullifying the 14 days cancellation for no charges. They were never willing to tell me how much I would be paying until then. Furthermore, the trade-in is a scam. I am warning anybody to stay away from AT&T. Also, the customer service phone lines are mostly of no help. There are no different departments (Support, Billing, etc.) to address your needs. They are situated in third world countries: South Africa, Philippine, Jamaica, and many other such countries. Buyers beware,

I have had the worst customer service in the store at King Of Prussia. I was told false information and all they did was take there money. I was laughed at in my Face By Sam and she advised she was the general manger. Those store employees and Rude and Disrespectful. I never have such a horrible experience anywhere the way I did here. I have filed a complaint threw the Federal Trade Comm. I should have read all the reviews before even going to AT&T that are horrible of what you put people threw.

I got charged on my credit card for an account that has been closed for over 5 months and I called to dispute and they had me on a call for almost an hour talking to 4 to 5 person saying the same thing and no one knows how to solve this problem. It is not rocket science!
They have the worst type of customer service set up and what a horrible experience for anyone trying to get any help!
Go save yourself time by not using this horrible company.
What a waste of my time!
How sad that once used to be decent company became this useless?

This is what makes people go crazy and do the things we see on the news each night. I truly hope this company collapses for how it treats its customers. AT&T sets the bar all right but lower and lower each day. The problem is, many places have no choice but AT&T for internet service. Makes me want to try the satellite internet.

Where to be begin, I was lied to about my contract, promised things I never received, they lost my devices I turned in and they confirmed they received with a call and text but never gave me credit for it, and can't send them back to old service carrier so I'm screwed on them, told I have to deal with that. Was told a million times they would take care of my previous carriers balance with 2 three way calls by two different agents just to find out they can't do that so it was wasted time for noting. Was charged crazy amounts that kept raising higher and higher every months, the service sucked, always dropping calls and lagging. Spent countless hours waiting on hold explaining my situation for help and kept getting hung up on. Then when fraud was put on my bank account I do what they ask if me explain and inform them of it so my electronic payments are not effected, they charged that account anyways, kicked me off of auto pay charged me the additional nOn auto pay fees instead and then turned my phone off when 3 months later they said my payments got sent back from that account I told them not to charge but they did anyways. So now they are saying I have a balance of over $1600 which they never informed me of when I just gave them $957 for two months and then was told to turn my phones back on I needed to lay in cash at the store even though they were informed and have incompetent employees. I was told the truth maybe 1 time the whole entire year I've been dealing with them and even then I was told sorry I don't know why you were told that but nothing we can do. Sorry they lied to you. But lay your bill. WORSE SERVICE AND CUSTOMER SERVICE IN THE ENTIRE WORLD they are thieves and crooks and will bleed you dry and give you a to bad for you in return. DO NOT USE THEM.

The customer experience is absolutely awful. This service will enventually allow competitors to enter the market. I tried several times just to get a straightforward answer if Fiber was available in my area or not after searching the site to get an answer. It is a maze of confusion for a potential customer. Maybe the old WorldCom should have bought them!

I have been a customer with AT&T for 10+ years. They have showed zero loyalty to their customers. If you're new customer they're more than willing to help you. They sell you insurance and you pay them for it then they claim it's a third-party and not pay for your products. Or they tell you a deductible and then they triple it. I wouldn't recommend AT&T to anyone.

Absolute ripoff
April 28, 2023

They told me my bill would be cut in half, instead it's more. I paid $800 to close my Verizon contract and so far $950 to AT&T, out of my 4 phones 3 were new, now I'm locked into a 3 year contract at double the quoted price and nothing I can do about it. Please make sure you have everything in writing because this company is a rip off. I'm going to the BBB to see what they can do
