Not only does this company over charge for service. But if you transfer service to another company the will charge you for a full months service. They are not willing to work with anyone about these charges! Claims its their policy. Absolutly rediculous. There are better companies out there! Do yourself a favor and stay away from AT&T!
One of the worst service providers…neither the agents nor the support team does any proper communication…I had traded my device for 800$ and they say that I'll not get any credits because I had cancelled someother line…total stupidity…worst part is no one will inform it before canceling it…when u call, they ll tell u they can't do anything now…would never recommend to anyone due to their pathetic service…
I never can reach anyone! They have hung up on me several times! They have another business linked to my user ID and no one can help! They have been rude and anytime I ask for a manager they hang up on me. I want to cancel everything. They are so big they forgot how to take care of customers! They don't care!
Canceled phone and watch April 20 3 times. None of them told me I had to cancel the actual watch phone number to have it canceled. They continued to charge $75 for the watch service alone. Now I'm having to fight them to get my money back. And they billed me again for July. That's NOT something the customer is told or even knows about.

I switched my business phones from T-mobile to AT&T. The biggest business mistake I've ever made. They told me after cut off my phone. They turn my phone for while I was working on the day they said I need to pay my bill by which is today July 11th they cut it off be for end of day and could help me with a payment arrangement for 24- 48 hour I told them I could have the money today just need it to be on for a day. I work and make money using my phone. I paid $312.00 of the 473.00 that was due. I never had this problem with T-Moble I am regretting ever switching
Have had 5 lines for over 10 yrs. Daughter went in to get new phone and create her own account.Told her she would have to get new #? She did because Noone explained she just needed to get my password. She now has new number and I'm still getting charged for old line because I guess it was my fault for not calling and my daughters an idiot that should have known. Basically what I was told. They WILL NOT take charges off for phone that you can Cleary see has not been used before 6/22/23. Because again my daughter "the idiot" should have known to cancel the previous line or if she had been an authorized user she could have. Not one person at the store told her that's all she had to do. Call me, I would've given the code, she'd be off our bill and kept her old number. But she's an idiot (att representative) and should've known and should've questioned why she couldn't keep her phone number. In no way will they take her dead phone off my bill that you can clearly see hasn't been used for over 3 weeks because we're just "idiots" and it's our fault. Att is the worst!
It would be nice to allow adjustments to your programmed "system" to allow for special circumstances. I did not feel heard or understood because their system says I was untimely, yet they are not accountable for having reps that didn't know and do what Chris did for me on that 1st call I made within that 14 day period.
I tried calling AT&T several times and notified 2-3 of their representatives that I did not have service in my area, because a commissioned rep (knowing I had 5 lines to switch over) showed me a map that indicated there was service in my area! It wasn't until my 3rd or 4th call that I got someone named Chris on the line that indeed confirmed I was 7 miles outside of the service area. And sadly, that discovery was outside of the 14 days. (Meanwhile I'm making 12 mile drives to my dads house to make my work calls to conduct business)
Another week passes, and I'm now dealing with my dad who had 3 visits to the VA hospital for Stroke symptoms, and I was unable to get on another hour or so long call with AT&T to see how to terminate my contract, because Chris gave me a number to call to do that... ugh!
The next call I needed to make was to Verizon to come back, and low able behold, it's now too late to be "Won Back", and now I have an outstanding bill with them.
AT&T can not help me, I will have a $3000 balance with them because they can't take my phones back.
This was an Absolute Nightmare I am ready to wake up from. It literally has caused me so much stress, along with my family that also was disrupted through this process.
I now have made everyone on my account, my dad, my two sons, my husband, switch over to whoever they want to because I'm not comfortable with them, and I don't have the energy or funds to make another mass switch! :(

We consciously decided against utilizing the above states as the country that we are in does not support 5G. This happened last year when we subscribed to the international plan but ended up with shoddy hit and miss phone service. We couldn't use our phones when we needed it most. This time we switched off our data plan on our phone settings and got a local wifi phone service to enable us to text our kids. Imagine our surprise when we're were billed for international plan without our consent. To what extent can we take our phones out of the country and not be billed for the international plan. AT&T hides behind shoddy bot or foreign representation customer service that is not helpful at all in solving our problem. We are good paying customers and have not faulted in our payments. AT&T sucks as a phone company and their customer services fails us miserably. We also received notification that our phone plan will be increased soon and their terrible service does not warrant a plan hike.

I have had my phone many years with AT&T. One night my phone became useless. Found out they gave my phone number away. As we all know it is a major hassle to have your phone number changed. I am on prepay so is no fault of mine. T mobile ended up with my number. I went to Warrenton MO office and told them I wanted my number back and make my phone good again. I was thrown out their office refusing to give me my phone number that they gave to T mobile. I should have sued them for this! I was without a phone service and live alone in a rural area. The worker that forced me to leave put his grubby hands on me which is assault. I am still finding people after a year not have the new number I was forced with after them giving my phone number away in the middle of a billing cycle that was paid for! Also their satellite internet is a joke buffers and disconnects constantly!
I switch from Verizon and I was told they had 4 g network connection here and I would not have a problem using my phone as a Hotspot to use my computer on the weekends. I am a teacher and work sometimes on the weekend and need service. Not only does the hot spot not work but a lot of times I can't even use the phone to look at the internet for news or social media. I feel like I was lied to and now I had to add a wifi Hotspot device to my bill. I should not have to pay for something they assured me would work in the first place. I have the Samsung S 23 plus so it isn't because I have an old phone. Why does the wifi hot spot work but not the wifi hot spot on my phone. It worked when I was with Verizon. As soon as my contract is up I am going back to Verizon
I went to the store and got a deal for a family plan starter for 105 dollars, my first bill comes as 260 and the one after as 328, When I spoke with customer service it turn out the store had put me on the highest plan without my consent and I will be heavily overcharged because of that, also there are hidden fees ( services and taxes) even with the original plan the bill would be 187, So I canceled after using for 4 days and I still got charged 180 dollars for a full month when they have a policy of charging only per days used if canceled within 14 days, I challenged that many times but it is a waste of time. Must avoid due to the lack of clarity on hidden charges and store workers placing you on plans without your consent then you are having to pay the price.
They'll drown you in hidden fees. Their salespeople lie about the cost, sign you up, AT&T gouges you for 3 to 4 times what was quoted. Not to mention their plans are some of the most expensive around. Plenty of better companies out there.
Be careful when you do a upgrade with At&T, when they are going to give you a credit for you old phone, then when you send the phone by mail, they get the package but they never make the credit to your account.
If they didn't make money of you it won't be a business they lie it's on your contract read it record you conversion if they lie take them to small clams trust me you will always win against this thief's
An AT&T worker was working on my neighbors Wi-Fi and cut my Wi-Fi completely off, when I called they sent out guys, none of which could fix it, then they said I had to wait for someone to come and dig, they said they'd come on 07/05, which was after I've been without Wi-Fi for 3 weeks. 7/5 came and went, no one called me, no one showed up. After calling and finally getting someone who knew what was happening, they said it'll be done on August 31st! They seem not care that I will have been without internet for almost 3 months. UNACCEPTABLE!
Answer: Terrible service, this is the worst service I've ever had. Canceled all services with this company after my customer service experience. Customer service is horrible, their service in general is horrible, and they don't offer anything I can't get at any other competitors store. I wouldn't recommend service or work with this company, they are discriminatory and bias. All they do is take advantage of you and try to sell you stuff that you don't need so they can raise their commission. If you want to be serviced by a bunch of dilettantes, this is the place for you, bad service, work, and experience, Joshua at legacy village has terrible customer service experience.
Answer: At this point I am so disgusted with a T and T your customer service skills are horrible they don't help you out they keep transferring you to different departments just to get you off the phone they do not like to resolve problems and promises that they made they do not keep their promises they get you into getting into their products and getting their commission and then they screw you out of what they promise you I do advise anybody to go through a TNT they are lousy
