DEAR AT&T managers and supervisor! I see why your customer service is sucks. Because of your manager and supervisor NOT. The representative. It's the management, if this is how you guys treat people I don't want to be part of this company anymore. I'll take my business somewhere else. People at at&t are rude and nasty. Yuck. Oh, and this steals money from you when you addressed it. They credit that back to your account you could have used that $80I Credit that back to your account you could have used at $80 $40. To buy food for your kids. They know exactly what they are doing. They keep doing this over and over on my account because once they credit that back to your AT&T account, they will get it back on your next bill. While the promotions seem great like any others please do not downgrade to ATT! I decided to go from xfinity internet & T-Mobile service. Liked the promotion of combined bills. Big mistake. This is THEE SLOWEST SERVICE since by pony express. Worse than dial up. The hold times to talk to someone is ridiculous. & they're completely unknowable. I've never had this much lag on my phone. I've had sprint 10 years ago metro pcs like 5 years ago and T-Mobile was my last. Att is BY FAR THE SLOWEST. Got a new iPhone from them with the promotion but I'm ready to go back to my super old iPhone with T-Mobile because I just can't with this trash $#*! service. I was tricked into switching from verizon my bill was 60$, with a trade in I was to get my phone for free but had to pay $500, then 166$ that supposed to be credited back to me over 2 years. Since day 1 my phone has no service in my house wifi calling does not work after calling, going to the store they kept putting it off I am 3 month in and they want me to pay for an insurance phone, the phone is defective, to make it worse I did papereless billing and suppose to get a message when bill is due, I get a message pay or phone will be deactivatede whgich before 24 hours its off then they charge me $60 to turn it off and 35 to reconnect, this was not mentioned in any verbal agrement wehen I asked. Then I said I will cansel the service and im told I will owe $600 for the phone that was free with a trade in no where did they say I have to keep service they took a working s8 from me and wont give it back and $500 of my money. After receiving an email from att regarding my auto-pay discount change, I called att customer service. The customer service rep was incompetent and incomprehensible, when I asked to talk to the manager, after an hour waiting, no manager answered the call and I was connected to the fraud department, still not a manager.
Not taking care of your long term customers is not a wise way to do business. I am certainly looking for a better carrier.
Called AT&T to set up a land line for my 87 year old mother. After 1.5 hours the gal from another country told me the line would be live in 5 days. 10 days later still no phone line. Called again and 45 minutes later still on hold. Wish there was competition
Honestly you can go with any other phone company and you will be better off, called them because i was getting charged on a service i had already canceled and it took me almost 2 hours being taken to the wrong departments and not having the ability to look into my account. Att&t is one of the worst internet providers for gaming systems around. I utterly hate this company with a passion. Their techs are incompetent and have no idea what they are doing. Furthermore I pray everyday that xfinity or some other provider comes into our area for service until then I will remain miserable.
Signed up for free phone. Then every thing went down hill from there.No customer service. They billed me for service on a phone they couldn't connect to.I got so tired of the run around they would give me.So I canceled my account. Because of the FREE phones I had to pay over $3200.00. Then after three months, they send me a bill demanding more money and threatening to turn it over to a collection agency. Remember I had not received a bill in three months. When you call to work something out. The people to talk to have No authority to do anything but keep demanding you pay know. I was with T-mobile for over 20 years

Make sure you read the fin print before you upgrade.I turned in my $900.dollar phone and I got a Tex saying that I was getting the full amount for my phone because it was in excellent condition so I got my upgrade phone and 2 /12 months went by and I found out I got $150. For my iPhone 11 Pro and Att would not give me any credit back said it was because I didn't have unlimited. I feel I was scammed and now I'm paying $900. All over again.
Absolutely the worst cell phone company I have ever had never have internet or cellphone service at my home have to outside in my yard to get service and then I don't always get service and they suck on customer service and also tell you that you will have coverage in your area when you don't also tie you into a contract so your screwed!
They hands down have the worst speeds ever. The also have horrible customer service. If you go over 1gig they slow you down more.
Three items were "shipped" to my home nothing ever arrived. Three appointments were made for a service tech to come install my internet at my new house and no one showed up nor did they call. I spent over four accumulative hours on the phone trying to get help and they just kept making service appointments that no one showed up to. The internet quality is great if you can actually get your service installed. I hate to discontinue my service at AT&T but they are clearly not interested in resolving customer issues.
I had automatic payments for my ATT account, service ended on 4/15, was charged for 2 days in that period (full month charge), then refunded on 7/17/23. Via a cash card, Instead of just refunding the money into my charge card.

Was trying to decide between Cox and AT&T for wireless service. AT&T rep said they would offer me a $300 cash reward card if I went with them. I said ok let's do it. Fast forward AT&T now says they have nothing in writing and cannot give that to me. I cannot do business with a company that engages in such shady and dishonest practices. Let me start by saying I have 15yrs of customer service. I just got off the phone with AT&T over a $2 dispute. I was on hold for 1hr 17min ( yes that serious) my service was off and I needed it. Problem is no one is on the same page or has the same information and it's frustrating. 2ndly If your service is off they keep saying we will send you a link well that's POINTLESS because your service is off and can't access your account. I kindly spoke to a supervisor and made some suggestions. I will be switching services.

I left a little slimeball at the store lied to me and tell me that AT&T was way better than Verizon. I went from having 4G LTE with two bars at my house. They're having zero service at all. Now I'm stuck with AT&T because I didn't do my research and figure out that Verizon was going to charge me $1200 because of the phone and watch,plus the service bills I owe. So now I'm stuck with AT&T and can't go back to Verizon until I had them paid off and then AT&T is going to do the same thing with this phone and watch, I've had them for about six months now makes me want to bash my head into a wall, knowing I have another 30 months with the worst Service I've ever had. The best part about it is AT&T is $40 more a month FML.
I was on the prepaid plan for about a year and wanted to upgrade my iPhone 8 so the ladies at my local store did what they could to get me a new phone and some discounts. One discount was the ACP program for low income people, then the special they were running for the iPhone 13 was for $10 monthly instead of $20. I was accepted by the ACP program back in April which is supposed to take $30 off my bill according to conversations I had with customer service over the phone. Then I got my bill- it's been $92 every month since April. I called many times to get this figured out but was told to wait till the next billing cycle for it to kick in. Now it's July. They now tell me that I don't qualify for the ACP program because I'd have to switch to their most expensive plan. I also don't qualify for the $10 instead of $20 payments for the phone itself because they're denying that it was even a promotion! It's still a promotion! WHAT?! The employees in the store have even called with me right there to explain that they're giving me the wrong information and they absolutely refuse to budge and make things right. If I could afford a new phone I'd switch immediately but I can't. So I'm stuck. Now I have to go back in and find a way to lower my bill which will consist of taking the insurance off my phone and going to a lower data plan. I'm absolutely floored at their lack of customer service. They care NOTHING about making their customers happy and upholding their own promotions! I want everyone I know to hear about how awful their service is. If you're thinking of starting with AT&T JUST DONT.
I tried ATT this past December. When I received my phones we could not receive calls or make calls even within our house to each other. I went back to the store where I signed up and was told to return the phones and there would be absolutely no charge and the money that I had paid would be refunded.
I returned the phones and have been pestered for the past 7 months for payment. When talking to customer service It is very difficult to understand the people talking with an accent. ATT really sucks.

Customer service is horrible, their service in general is horrible, and they don't offer anything I can't get at any other competitors store. I wouldn't recommend service or work with this company, they are discriminatory and bias. All they do is take advantage of you and try to sell you stuff that you don't need so they can raise their commission.
