I cancelled my service with att to move to T-Mobile or so I thought. Turns out, the cancel did not happen because I still had 2 devices (watch and tablet) still showing on the account. I thought the bill that auto-paid at the end of the month on 8/20 (switched companies on 8/10) was the final bill. Nope. Okay the next bill that was auto-paid at the end of the next month (9/20) was surely the last bill. I figured maybe the first one just wasn't caught in time. The second bill was $50 cheaper, so it must be the last bill, right?!. When the third bill came, I freaked out, called them and was told that yes, when phone numbers are ported to a different company, the account will then cancel and it is not uncommon for customers to forget about devices that were assigned a number but no longer use to remain (showing no use) but that they could get it taken care of for me. Great. Well I couldn't remember my PIN at the time, was told I would have to go to a store to change it then call back. I remembered the PIN, called back, got a different person, one that was much more inclined to be less than helpful. She then cancelled account and told me that there was nothing they could do about the billing oversight. I pushed, she put me on hold a few minutes (I'm sure to check her nails instead of the lie of checking with the back office) to come back and say, yep, nothing we could do. I had an account with att for 15+ years and that is how loyalty is treated with att. I look forward to them no longer being a monopoly which will happen sooner or later. Probably when they have shafted the right number of people.
I have been with ATT for years now and they are only getting worse. I don't get notication texts notifications until they have already expires hours ago or day and sometimes not at all. I had a hacked device that an ATT rep sold me and was completely ignored. Not even going to the local ATT store did any good. They do not care about customer service nor your satisfaction. I'm leaving ATT and finding a better service provider. They are horrible.
For the general public, this company is not what they designed for you. Don't let yourself get carried away, because my step was that I was going to shut down in a little 5 months and they sent me the bill for $100 dollars more per month. They are scammers. I don't recommend them to anyone.
Trouble with AT&T so I cut my service
Just know if you try to leave AT&T they will take you through the ringer. And make you pay more money. Did y'all know when you receive a new phone you better keep that box in came for 2 weeks? If not you will not be able to return it. Eventhough it's within the 2 week period. Other cell companies just will take the phone if you're dissatisfied. So please note to KEEP THE BOX IT original came in or you're out of luck. Also the fold z phones all models are trash don't even buy them no matter how nice they look to you. I went over to Verizon instead and got Samsung phones. If you don't want to curse someone out at AT&T then go to Verizon service for your money. AT&T charged me for a line on my watch that I wasn't even able to use with that watch for 10 months. I didn't even know it. AT&T will get you for money you don't even realize it.
AT&T HAS CHARGED MY CREDIT CARD AND WOULD NOT SHOW THE INVOICE. SPENT OVER 4 HOURS ON THE PHONE BEFORE FINALLY GAT THE INVOICE. SLAES PERSON CAME TO OUR HOUSE AND QUOTED PRICE FOR 3 PHONES AND INTERNET. WHEN TALKING TO CUSTOMER SERVICE, THE PRICE IS WELL OVER PRICE QUOTED. ON THE PHONE LOOKING FOR EXPLANTION FOR HOURS MORE WITH NO ANSWERS.
4 days ago FPL was working on front of our business, since then we have all our AT&T services down. No phone line, no internet and we reported 4 days ago and they haven't fix it yet. We have been with AT&T services for 20 years and they have our business DOWN. Our costumers are leaving without products because we don't have credit card service. As a SMALL BUSINESS owner I don't KNOW WHAT to do ….PLEASEEEE someone has to do something about it ….
AT&T sent me the modem and said it didn't matter that I didn't have home phone landline service. They said I just needed the phone plugin (jack). They mailed the equipment and sent a service guy who spent the entire day in my yard and said nothing and left. I called AT&T customer service and guess what? Technical assistance said I needed ANOTHER technician to come out and guess who pays this time? That's right: ME! I wasted PTO time from work to the tune of 1 1/2 days and they couldn't offer wireless on home internet. BAD shame on AT&T. AND THEN THEY MAILED ME A BILL... after providing me nothing but a headache.
My internet service goes down everyday 3 and 4 times. When i call ATT, I reach a recording telling me they can run some tests. If I'm ever lucky enough to get someone on the phone, I'm told they can send a technician out but it may cost me $99. The internet goes down everyday at the same time, usually it starts around 2:30pm. If it's going down everyday at the same time, I don't think it's a problem on my end. ATT is awful. I'm paying all this money for Terrible Service
Was sent replacement phone Tuesday it was DOA. Sent back just to received another one today that is DOA been calling ATT for 2 hours this is bs...delivered at 1 pm been on charger since been on phone with ATT still waiting. I had AT&T Uverse/Internet. I liked the product but hate the company. I started out at around $139.00 per month. Within a little over a year, my bill jumped to over $200.00! They claim they give you promotional prices good for a year, yet they start rising after 3 months. Plus, when you call customer service, you get someone off shore than barely speaks English. After some research, I found internet at Spectrum and YouTube TV streaming gets more than I had with AT&T and $75.00 cheaper. Why would anyone use AT&T. Spectrum and YouTube TV also have customer service in the United States. Just know, AT&T is very expensive, they lie and you cannot understand anyone at customer service. It's a no brainer - you Can find cheaper and better service.
Just called to verify cancellation on my partners account due to death and the representative advised me to go to an att store to handle and then started on with a sales pitch and promotions and deals occurring for me to purchase. Incredible insensitive and ignorant. No help received. Only ignorance.

I've been with AT&t for several years the only reason I am is because they have fiber. But from day one they have screwed me. I signed up on the Internet they said if you signed up on the internet you get a gift card well when it was time for me to get my gift card but the ad was nowhere to be found so they screwed me out of my gift card first now they come and dug my ground up and I'm without internet for 4 days because of something they did because they can't have a definition come out until Monday they don't care that I'm going to lose my license cuz I can't go to traffic school by my court date Monday. This is the second time this has happened where they've cut my line on accident or whatever not to mention they add services all the time to my bill that I never asked for like a home phone that they just add on my bill. And don't know how it happened or how I got it home phone. They don't got my yard and did something and now I have no internet because of them and I can't have no internet for 4 days because they won't have a technician available till Monday for something they did which is ridiculous and then all they're going to offer me is credit for a couple days which is what five dollars for a couple of days of no internet service that I've already paid for I didn't pay for it sometimes service cut my internet off when you feel like it and then leave me hanging. AT&t is the worst company ever do not get internet with them you will be sorry. I should have known when I had cell phone service and they did the same s*** to me. Crooks not to mention every time you call you can't get somebody to good English to explain or talk to you.
I had regular AT&T internet and didn't have any major issues. Soon after converted and upgraded to fiber optic all went down hill from there. It is down almost weekly days at a time. No billing adjustments for the days it was down. You can't speak to anyone unless you stay on hold for an extended period of time. Terrible
As soon as I pay this phone off with them I am Done, They give vets " discounts " which really do not knock much off. Send you emails and bogus special offers then when you inquire about them the price jumps to 3x the amount. Almost 2 years with these guys... tired of the BS.
By far and away the worst customer service experience I have ever had. Business account, make it so difficult to port phone numbers. Constant rerouting and different answers on how to troubleshoot. Nothing works. Can't hear the reps on the phone through their headphones. System does not reflect the same information as the online account. Said I was authorized to make changes in the store but not online. How is that logical? The nearest store is over 60 miles away. Very frustrating.
Called customer service to lower my bill as my bill is outrageous. Only way to lower bill is to take away services from my account. I have been with them for over 20 years and it does not matter to them that I have a long term relationship with them. They would not lower my bill which is too high without losing some products. I am done with ATT. Be wary about using ATT for wirelss service.
Answer: Terrible service, this is the worst service I've ever had. Canceled all services with this company after my customer service experience. Customer service is horrible, their service in general is horrible, and they don't offer anything I can't get at any other competitors store. I wouldn't recommend service or work with this company, they are discriminatory and bias. All they do is take advantage of you and try to sell you stuff that you don't need so they can raise their commission. If you want to be serviced by a bunch of dilettantes, this is the place for you, bad service, work, and experience, Joshua at legacy village has terrible customer service experience.
Answer: At this point I am so disgusted with a T and T your customer service skills are horrible they don't help you out they keep transferring you to different departments just to get you off the phone they do not like to resolve problems and promises that they made they do not keep their promises they get you into getting into their products and getting their commission and then they screw you out of what they promise you I do advise anybody to go through a TNT they are lousy
