Horrible
September 12, 2017

I have to call them every single month. They say they'll fix the problem and the next month I get a bill with the problem not fixed. They say they'll call you back. They don't. They never do anything they say. And English is obviously not their first language. Sometimes I have to hang up
And call back just so I can talk to a different person I can possibly understand. And plan on spending at least an hour on the phone when you call because you'll have to be transferred to several different departments before you get to the right one.

Sold a bag of goods
September 11, 2017

AT&T rep came to my house after my DirecTV installation. Told me he could save me money on my bill if I switched. We talked for about an hour before I finally gave in. He promised me... two new cell phones, one tablet and they would buy me out of my current contract with Verizon. I agreed. My bill was supposed to be $150 per month for two years. PLUS i was supposed to get a VISA giftcard reimbursement that would buy me out of my current Verizon contract. I submitted my final bill with my early termination fee from Verizon. I get a rejection postcard from AT&T, they need more information. I went to Verizon again, requested the same thing. I get a second rejection from AT&T stating insufficient information. Note, I took both final bills to the AT&T store where the rep uploaded the information and said I should expect reimbursement withing 4-6 weeks, but I still got an insufficient information postcard from AT&T. Lastly my $150 per month bill is NOW $250.00 per month, because my two new phones come with an installment plan of $50.00 per month. Now my AT&T bill is more than my Verizon wireless bill. I'm at my wits end! I've chatted, called, left messages and went to the store. I'm livid! And to make matters even worse, the service is worse than Verizons... I drop calls and have spotty service. Jeeshhhhh...

AWFUL!
September 9, 2017

I'm writing this review because I so badly regret ever signing up for service with this stupid company. EVERY month my bill is a different number (I've read many people complaining about this). Not ONE time has it been the amount that sales rep said it would be when we signed up for our plan at the store. When you look at your bill it's so unorganized and hard to understand... so many random charges and things you have no clue what they are. I feel lied to. The reps at the store spend sooooo much time trying to sale you a bunch of bull (tv packages, tablets, etc) things you totally don't need to make your bill higher! But when you need to call so they can explain the outrageous and uncalled for bill "oh we don't handle account specific information, you need to call customer service". What a load of crap that it is. I hate this company. I regret signing up with them. Let's just say the past 3 months our bill has been more than double what they said it would be. DONT SIGN UP!

WORST THING EVER
September 8, 2017

My bills are always different prices, and I always have to call each month just to complain about my bills and also horrible customer service. When ever I call to get something done they never end up helping me, they just tell me that they will transfer me to the right person who I need to talk to, and they just leave me in the same place just with a different person. Never getting at&t again

Can not get anywhere!
September 1, 2017

This is the second time I have tried to get a user name and password so I can view my bill. I have to now been on the phone and passed around for over one and a half hours. Now I am supposed to get a call back from a supervisor. This is about a land line that I would not need if their cell service worked at my house.

Horrid. Waste of time
August 25, 2017

Worst waste of time trying to argue with a dumb computer for 30 minutes only trying to pay the usually over inflated bill. ( dont be surprised It's never what they promise you). The computer usually apologizes for being dumb and tries to transfer you where they charge you 5 dollars for giving THEM money for $#*!ty bare bones service. The computer in a pleasant man voice pretends like it understands full sentences but don't be fooled it lies just to aggrevate you, because it has joy in ruining people's lives and stealing their time. It's a useless system and so is ATnT

I signed up for the bundle package for $89.99/mom. Guess what! My first bill was $140. I called customer service and was insulted, the agent told me I want able to read the bill correctly. I went to the ATT store where the manager along with another agent were able to quickly look at the bill and find a whopping $73.17 billing error. I called back to have the account adjusted where again the billing department informed me that bundle billing (which I have had for years) was too complicated for me or the store emoyees to understand and also informed me that next month's bill would be $207! Run for the hills! The ATT/Direct TV bundle service is a bait and switch disaster!

Changed my plan WORST MISTAKE EVER! I was told one rate shocker my bill is way more spent over an hour on the phone customer service would say one thing then change their story a couple minutes later. Finally got to a supervisor after being on hold for 18min who just talked down to me and told me that the 4 other people that I talked to were wrong. The final straw was when I questioned a price offered online vs the $25 more a month that I'm being charged and he tried to say it was a reason that very clearly it wasn't! An hour of my life I will never get back!

The worst company ever
August 12, 2017

I had a similar incident with the merging of Att and Directv. There customer service sucks and they treat you as though it's your fault. And they don't solve the problem THEY created. I moved in 2015 and closed out my bill (family emergency) they were so kind. I decided to go back when my situation changed a few months ago and with the split now they're charging me separately. It's a big mess. And treating your good customers like $#*! is wrong. I really want to cancel this

Ive been an ATT customer for over 20 years, TV, internet & cells. The day they purchased DIRECTV, all went to crap I have never experienced customer service like this from any company in my 59 years of life. I said I would never go back to cable and now have to eat my words. If I were to list all the issues I've had with customer service, it would take me days, so Ill close this review with: IF YOUR THINKING ABOUT GOING WITH ATT FOR TV, OR INTERNET, PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND RUN

This is the first time I've ever done this because it's gotten so bad, I feel like I have to. I want to change my current internet provider because their customer service is bad. I already have DIRECTV so it made sense to add at&t internet. I have had 2 installation appointments and no one has come. 2 weeks and still no service. I've been told that someone would call me back in 15 mins and every time no one did. My wife and I have rearranged our work schedules twice for these appointments and have wasted 8 hours now with nothing. This is completely ridiculous. AT&T should be embarrassed by this kind of service.

I have never in my life experience such a horrible turn of events. I was first lies to buy the sales rep who obviously Had no idea what she was doing. Untrained and unprofessional as i have now found is ture for all att/uverse/wireless/direct tv employees. As it stands i have been transferred to several reps in each branch who seem to have no communication among each other. Simply chaos. I was blatantly lie to. I was sold tables with hot spots capacity. To bundle with my new Direct TV service. Apon receiving my tablets I soon understood that my tablets were useless because the sales rep sold me the incorrect plan that could not support the hot spot. I learned this only after a very frustrating 2 and a half hours with customers service who could not find any of my information. It would be another 90 dollars a month if i wanted to use my tablets. Pleased to learn that they were willing to cancel my contact do to what they described as "buyers remorse " insinuating that it was some how my fault. Never the less I took it assured that it was all over. Only to be sent an email a month and a half later, after no other form of contact about the matter, informing me my account was in collections. 3 AND A HALF HOURS LATER I AM ABSOLUTELY NO WHERE. Transfer after transfer no exaggeration at least 20 different reps. Hung up on 4 times and I am no where. Absurd. I find it very ironic that they have no problem billing me for service never provided. Teams of Untrained employees can not even verify my account let alone figure out how to resolve the matter. I will never in my life use any service associated with at&t ever again.

I've been with AT&T for over 20 years and i will never change! Great price for a fail package which I have had for over 7 years now and they still outperform the others!
My suggestion to the others with bad reviews is read the fine print! ITS A CONTRACT!.
If your bills is due and you haven"t received it, CALL THEM!
I've had situations, but really... if you look at big picture, simplicity and connivence = Satisfaction. And NO, I do not work for them and I am not in any way, shape or form related to or know of anyone who works for them.
Just hate to see bad reviews from "some" ignorant, self serving peeps...

AT&T deserves ZERO stars! They locked me in with a free phone and 30 month contract on May 21,2017 and by June 26,2017, I was threatened my service would be disconnected and I would have to pay a restoral fee and late fee. Yes, ONE month after signing the contract! I hadn't even received a bill in the mail and on June 26,2017, they threatened to disconnect my service if I didn't pay. I was shocked but didn't want my service disconnected or the fees so I paid that same day. I explained I never even received a bill. They gladly took my payment and stated not to worry because my phone was not disconnected, I would not get charged the "restoral fee." LIES! Today, 7/30/2017, I noticed a $35 restoral fee and a $5 late fee. When I called AT&T, they said too bad, you must pay because they sent me notices. UNBELIEVABLE! Two months in with AT&T and already regret signing with them! Well, 2 months down, and 28 months to go to be released from this prison!

DO NOT USE AT&T
July 29, 2017

They don't deserve even 1 star! If I could have chosen a negative option, I would have. Nothing good to say at all about them. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this company. I have spoken to 9 different people today and told something different each time.

Each person made promises that a technician would be out to bury a line today but that different happen. Customer service is horrible. None of them knew what the other had said so instead of taking the time to truly figure it out, they would just make another promises that would not be fulfilled. They do not care about their customers.

All they care about is getting their money each month. TAKE MY ADVICE AND USE A DIFFERENT PROVIDER! I told them that I wanted to file a formal complaint and was told they would make sure that was done, but I really don't believe that will happen either. My only option that I have to hopefully help someone from going through this horrible process is posting a review online.

I wish I had read the reviews before I chose to use their service.

As soon as I can I am going to have my service disconnected and find another provider. Definitely can't be any worse that AT&T!

I call At&T every month and tell them I have received 2 bills. They tell me they have canceled my old DSL service. Today I have been put through to 5 different people trying to get the issue resolved. Plus last week my cable went out. They outsource to contract labor who are not trained. Do yourself a favor and go with Charter. I sure wish I had.
