Unprofesional
December 30, 2018

Terrible from every aspect of the service. Will never use this company for anything! Unprofessional call takers and service men. They don't respect people's property and make promises they aren't willing to keep.

AT&T has the worst customer service and they charge extra titbit's/charges on each statement hoping customers won't notice or take the time to call. When you do call customer service they will give you a run-a-round hoping you will just go away.
AT&T also refuses to unlock phones that are no longer with their company, so that expensive phone you buy will just be an expensive BRICK when you do #DumpATT
And you will, because they SUCK!

Terrible customer Service
December 26, 2018

I've had a AT&T line down in my back yard for months and they still haven't fixed it. I've reported the hazard 4 times and still nobody will fix the line down in my back yard. Every time I call AT&T to talk to someone they tell me the same thing, that someone will come out and fix it the next day. It never happens though.

NOT THE AT&T OF OLD
December 18, 2018

Been with AT&T for years for cell since they were bell south actually and have had the internet service for several years... never any major complaints but I am so disappointed in what they are becoming. I was paying for highest speed offered in my area, had the electric go out a few weeks back and dsl modem took like 8 hours to reboot so I call for service. Tech comes and says "I have to lower your speed, you are too far from pole but it won't affect anything, you won't even notice". First of all how are you selling people something and charging them for it if you can't provide the service? (their answer... we say up to doesn't mean you will actually get that... WHAT?!) Second of all how did it work for several years and now this is an issue? Well he lied... we noticed... internet wifi no longer reaches the back bedrooms so the kids have issues with their xboxes, Netflix etc., we have to shut off wifi on cell phones so we can get anything to open and opening an email on my computer takes about 30-40 seconds each one. So I call today wanting to have something done to correct this issue as I am wasting $ if they can't provide service and the supervisor basically says nicely "I'm sorry if you have to leave us but there is really nothing we can do for you to get your wifi issues fixed... you are just too far from the pole". REALLY?! I've got an idea... put some more poles in. On top of that the great cell phone service we have had for 15 years in the house no longer exists, tech came for directv and said the freezing the tvs are doing has been going on for months and unfortunately nobody has come up with a fix yet. How come I don't see this reflected on my bills as some sort of credit for the poor service that they are aware of. You know if you are late with your payments they do not hesitate to shut you down. So I guess Xfinity here I come and then will have to look into other cell services too.

Malicious Intents
December 10, 2018

I am deploying to the Middle East in a month and canceled my Direct TV part of my package, but kept my internet. Although the process took awhile it seemed to have gone well, and was told there would be no issue. However, when i look at my bill the next month that was far off. First they hit me with a $150! Cancellation fee that I was NEVER BRIEFED ON! Second, they still have not altered my monthly payments to show that I am not paying for DIRECT TV. Somehow I am paying more despite cancelling the direct TV. Finally, Since cancelling Direct TV they have been throttling my internet, or have drastically reduced it's speed. This will be my fourth attempt to upload this post, and originally started writing this because I do not have enough bandwidth to download a singular photo from my email to my desktop. Seriously AT&T if there were any other options for internet I would not be with you.

They opened me a second account instead of transferring my services. I found out bc they charged my twice and left me without services in my new account. I have been fighting with it seems like every person who works at ATT since November 9th for $250.46 and a credit for no services I was promised. Joy Brown "like the color" is the last condescending "supervisor" I have spoken to in account receivables. I can't wait for this contract to end. Their service and customer service is disgusting. Every time I call their line it's disappointing. Normally I just go online and pay my bill. I have been a loyal customer since 2011. They are thieves and are always "sorry for the inconvenience". I know this review won't change anything for a little person like me. AT&T is absolutely worthless and so is every single person who has "assisted" me over the phone since October 12th when they created a second account instead of transferring services. You only have ONE JOB. DO IT RIGHT. I would've been fired by now. Call me... I would love for someone to finally call me like you all stated they would. Last 4:2373

I must say, I have been with ATT for about 15 years. In the beginning, it was so easy to get a free phone and a two year contract. Now there are no contracts but you pay for the phone. I believe the phone cost more than the contract. So they making money. My bill each mouth is way over a $100 for one line. But it is what it is...

Internet
November 1, 2018

This is absolutely the worst company. They don't have a clue what the costumer service is. We are having a problem with our internet connection for almost 2 weeks, they sent a technician who did not fix it so we schedule another appointment. Technician supposed to come between 8 and 12. At 12 o'clock I got a text saying technician can not come on time. And I had to take a day off from work to wait for him. So I called "customer service " and guess what- when I explained the situation to the supervisor he started to laugh at me. Laugh! It's not funny, my husband's business based on the internet so he is loosing money by sitting and waiting for the technician who is not even coming. And the have no backup technician to send, which is not true. But the don't forget to charge you monthly for the service you don't even get. I don't know where else can I write a review but please don't use them. They ARE THE WORST!

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!
September 19, 2018

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY WITH THIS COMPANY! THEY HAVE THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! THEY LET YOU MAKE PAYMENT ARRANGEMENTS BUT THEN THEY CUT YOUR SERVICE ANYWAY. I CALLED TO TALK TO THEM THEY PROMISED ME A GIFT CARD AND I NEVER RECEIVED IT. THEY SAY EVEN THOUGH I MADE A PAYMENT ARRANGEMENT ITS NOT THEIR FAULT BECAUSE THE SYSTEM AUTOMATICALLY SHUTS THE SERVICE OFF AND THEY CANT RESTORE IT UNTIL I PAY THE BILL... SO I ASK, WHAT'S THE POINT OF AN ARRANGEMENT? THEN I KEEP GETTING DIFFERENT REPS WITH DIFFERENT INFO. BAD SERVICE!

Worst
September 16, 2018

Worst internet! I wish I never changed from xfinity, but I had to beacause of the area. I used to have a 25MB internet from At&t, but it was really bad, so I went to a store and asked about how to make it better and the guy showed me what he called "the best they have", so I got this new one. I had to pay $100 for the installation and they're still charging me $200 for breaking the old contract, even if I was making a new one, but the thing is, NOBODY EVER TOLD US ABOUT THESE CHARGES. But that's ok, we pay what we have to pay. But there's another thing, we had to pay all of this and we're obviously paying more than before for the same internet! It's the same thing! We can't even watch a video without it stopping all the time. And if we call or go to the store to complain about it, the service is horrible, and we're just losing our time because it's never going to change anything. I don't recommend it, but if someone needs to have it because of the area, just take the most basic plan and then take the unlimited mobile internet from T-mobile. Because the internet from At&t is going to stop all the time, so you can still use the internet from your cellphone, and the internet from T-mobile is the best.

Awful
September 11, 2018

At&t are crooks! Costomer service is the worst you will ever find. Still making me pay, after 2 years, for a phone number that is not working and hasn't been used in 2 years! 65.00 a month for no phone service and they are charging me more than I owe for "early termination " even though I've paid past the date. RUN FROM THIS COMPANY

Att is not the company it used to be. What ever changes have occurred
Internally has transformed them into pure garbage.
Their services for TV, internet and digital phone are sporadic at best and
Their advanced technical service division known as- ' last chance repair '
(cant make this stuff up) is a joke.
I even experienced their internal in-fighting about how to fix the
Problem. It didn't matter because the problem was never fixed.
The only other technical service they provide comes from foreign countries
Like China, Philippines and Mexico. If you can understand broken English from a
Voice synthesizer ( to make is sound like an American) then Att is the service
Provider for you.

Their promotional jargon claims the services are great and the customer is
Most important? It doesn't take very long before you learn this is a bunch of
Crap. They expect you to honor the contract and pay the monthly bill however,
When it comes to delivering their services, its a different story.

They consider you the problem when you speak up and complain about not
Getting the contracted services.
All this behavior are acts of a company that is grossly mismanaged and
Very desperate.

You may want to think twice before doing business with them. I know I made
This mistake.

Don't recommend AT&T
September 8, 2018

I was trying to move from AT&T to T Mobil on July 29th, 2018. We had 3 lines with AT&T. But during the transfer, one phone that used by my son cannot be unlocked. I paid off all my phones at the day of purchase. All phones should have no problem to unlock. So I called ATT Custermer service. They told me this request was sent to related department and I have to wait 48 hours to receive an email to follow the link to unlock. The first and second email didn't do the work with error message saying there is a problem to unlock my phone. Finally the third email unlocked the phone. But by the time I unlocked my 3rd phone, it was Aug 6th, 2018. Because ATT billing cycle starts on the 2nd of every month, with this one line, they charged me $114.23 for the month of August. Their custermer service told me they don't do prorate. I argued it is not my fault we can't unlock my 3rd phone. It is ATT's problem. Their custermer service people told me I should cancel that phone befor August 1st to avoid paying full for next month. If I cancel that phone and that phone can't be unlocked I will lost connection with my son, who was out of town during summer time. ATT people just don't listen saying I have to pay $114.23 even we only had one line with them for 4 or 5 days. I would not recommend ATT for anyone I know. I was with them for many many years and they have very expensive roaming charges like $10 per line per day. Every time my family go overseas for vacation our phone bill is outrages. This is the main reason we move to T- mobile. They only charge for $10/month. Although I was unhappy with ATT's expensive bills I wasn't angry with them. But this transfer experience really irritates me. Their custermer service is so bad. At the very beginning they were saying what we can do to keep you. After knowing I already transferred my another two lines to T-Mobil and I won't stay with them. The lady's voice turned into ice cold immediately and told me I have to pay full charges for the month of August. They don't do prorate!

Horrible Service
September 7, 2018

I am writing this in hopes that I can anyone who considering switching to AT&T. I made a terrible decision to using AT&T. I was loyal customer for over 20 years and in the past month AT&T managed to screw up everything. Customer Support is horrible and needs to be trained. To 1 person that knows what he/she is doing there 10 who doesn't. Customer Support lies by adding lines to account and adding phone ($800). Then charging customer and not helping customer by solving a problem or giving credit. Manager explained that AT&T doesn't have time or money to train their customer support so it is okay to lie to customers. Business should not be running this way.
So after 20+ years we(4 lines) left AT&T.
