AT&T fabricate pricing. They tell you one thing and then switch it on you! I was told that getting my band width larger would only cost 10 dollars more but they charged me 30 dollars more than that. They have done this to me a couple times. Bait and switch is there game. Then they put you on hold forever to see if they can help you. Make you wait then hang up on you. I'm contacting the Attorney General in Michigan. I've been told by a government agency that they get a lot of complaints.

It was a very disappointed and cheated shopping. We bought the new iphone on 5/8/2020 at 7032 Hwy 70 S Nashville, TN *******. The manager of this store was trying to catch our client. We paid off all the phone purchases on 5/8/2020 and the manager promised that the iphone has been paid off and that there will be no additional charges and monthly charges. But from May, 2020 our AT&T billing increases Protect Advantage insurance charge and protect fee charge plus tax from these items total & 19.17/ monthly. It already continue two month. We called AT&T customer service many and many times and was told all this is the store manager's own set of deductions from our monthly bills on 5/8/2020 and will continue have 30 month for same charge. It's all cheating on sales. We hope to be able to communicate with the store to looking for a solution, this afternoon when we went to store to talk to their staff, they closed the store more than one hour for launch during business time. We waited more than 40 minutes outside the store in the heat. The extremely guilty and rude manager refused directly and then communicated, driving his customers out of the shop. I think it's a real shame of AT&T. That's why AT&T will close 250 stores, if AT&T still hire such an unreasonable, untrustworthy employee, their crisis is still behind.

Website
June 25, 2020

The website is such a mess... not so user friendly... I did an upgrade of my line and my account was immediately charged. Since the website defaults to a 64 GB iPhone, I only realized later. I needed to change it to a 128 GB phone. I couldn't. Was asked to wait until after 4 hours to cancel the order. Which means I will have to re-do this order.

A charge was made to my checking account (through my debit card) regarding ATT TV NOW, which is a service I don't have. I called, stayed over 2 hours on the phone, was transferred to 8 (EIGHT) different departments. Every single time they would ask me for an account number - which I don't have, since I don't have the service. The last person was a woman who treated me like I was stupid and kept asking for more e-mails or phone numbers to every member of the family (even if it's a business account!) to check which account it was linked to. At first I told her this was not a service we had hired (we don't even have a TV in the office), but she kept insisiting, so I gave her everyone's number and e-mail to check. OF COURSE she didn't find anything and told me there was nothing they could do. I told her I have the card number that was charged, so she could look it up and see which account it is linked to, it seemed like a simple solution, but she said AT&T didn't have that kind of access, so that was it! WHAT? Now I will call my bank to dispute the charge, but the complete carelessness of this company goes beyond the acceptable! I literally lost over 2 hours of my life for a charge to a service I never even hired. It makes NO SENSE that they wouldn't match the person's card information to the one they have in the account they're charging!

I changed plans on the website. I took a picture of the plan details. The price and the promotions. Then I was overcharged by $40. I called several representatives. I sent an email to ATT elite care with the picture of the plan and the agreed price. The ATT representative at elite care stated she could not open the pictures I sent her. "They are to big for our system" I dont believe ATT cant open a picture. And she refused to honor the price. With out my bjc fan club discount the price was suppost to be $265 for 8 lines. Seven phones and one tablet were included. $35 a phone and $20 for the tablet. I added one phone that should have increased the plan $35. Total $290. Then I added my bjc fan discount that is $5 off on each phone. That should bring it down to $250 a month. I am being charged $300 a month My phone, wireless and internet with the price of the insurance and phone installment payments is about $650 a month. It's really not the $40 It's the point that again ATT promised a price and did not follow through.
Last year I signed up for internet. ATT said I would get a $30 discount because I had wireless. Internet and uverse along with automatic payments. I never got that discount I called the representative and i emailed ATT elite care. I never got that discount.
These are not the only times att has not followed through. I cant believe I pay them all thst money every month and this company has such poor bussiness practice

I've been A customer of AT&T For over 7 years I tried calling multiple times to try to get my bill lowered from the $200 mark every time I called they never had a promotion they are overpriced and outdated I would think as a loyal customer they will have promotions for me to save on money but in my case I feel as though they didn't care about the consumer, So I finally canceled my service early before my bill was due and I was told they don't prorate your bill that is very sad

I changed my plan FOUR DAYS prior to the monthly cycle because I needed unlimited data from the phone I had just purchased the month before, where I asked for unlimited from the beginning! I just got my new bill and they want 35$ for those 4 days I switched. This is robbery! I signed up to give them more money and they take more. I am considering going to court over this because I never agreed to this! If you are considering getting a phone, don't go with AT&T the service isn't even good. I have had Verizon, Sprint and Metro PCS and they are all better than AT&T in my opinion. Luckily I bought my phone completely, because if they don't cancel this fee I will find a better service elsewhere. I heard T Mobile actually pays bills to switch over but would have to look into it. Disgusted

I cannot believe that att has a motto of bad service. Yet i have seen it in person for years now. I wish i could find a better cell company but im afraid of what i will see. My mother died last nov. It has been an upcliff battle to get service disconnect and refunds. As i told the last 3 reps. I talked to, I have been lied to by the nicest people. Been given false info. Told that phone number doesn't exist. Her account has been under review for 5 months, then doesn't exist, in the same conversation. Land line people are just as bad, but its only been 3 months of there lies. Well we see if they get it done this time after only the 4th attempt.

On June 17,2020, I was trying to resolve a billing issue. I am a first responder and applied for the first responder discount when purchasing a new phone and adding a line back in April. The discount was not applied, a representative sent me a link to re-apply, which I did. The discount still has not been applied. I refuse to pay my bill because it is incorrect.
When trying to resolve this issue, that is AT&T's fault, supervisor Crystal did not help at all. She was disrespectful in several aspects. Calling me by my first name after every sentence, being sarcastic in responses, making me feel less than, and making condescending remarks. Being a customer for 18 years this is discouraging and unfortunate. To have someone that horrible be a supervisor for customer service is unbelievable. This phone call was so upsetting I am looking for a new company to provide mobile and internet service for my entire household.

SLOW SLOW SLOW
June 17, 2020

AT&T recently upgraded me to 1000 with a Fiber Optic Cable. Now it only uploads and downloads at about 400mbps. It was faster before I got the faster high speed internet. They are basically stealing and defrauding everyone everyday and raking in BILLIONS from this Internet 1000 SCAM. I hope during the revolution AT&T Executives are stood up in front of a firing squad. I hate liars and corporate liars even more. It's a lot of hate I know

Horable service
June 17, 2020

Att will take your money and give you a service lass then what they offer and promise customer service will keep you on the line to the point you just give up. If you don't just give up they will simply lie to you and them play dumb and the whole process will start from the beginning asking you what number your calling from the complete waste of your money do not use Att they have lost myself and family today due to the fact that they chose to treat a customer of 20 years like they didn't want my business. This was not an Acute incident this has been ongoing today was just a climax they will never have my business again and I will do everything in my power to ensure they don't get any other business for future customers they don't deserve anybody's business because they don't treat us as customers they treat us as a paycheck that's it which is fine take my money give me the service you state you'll give me that's the problem They can't screw AT&T

Don't do it!
June 16, 2020

Have been a customer for over 3 years. Phones voice-mail wasn't working so I purchased a new phone (Note10+) with my own money since nobody could tell me why it says my number is inactive when someone tries to call me. I've lost some business due to this and heaven forbid if you ask for a discount. Switching to Sprint for half the price and double the service!

Horrible Company
June 15, 2020

I canceled my internet service with them 2 years ago. The statement said that I had $50 credit. It took a whole year and dozens of lengthily phone calls to finally get my money back. I still had Direct TV with them, the price went constantly up so I decided to cancel last month. I was told by the representative that everything was paid up, that I didn't owe them any money. Guess what? They took another payment from me this month. I called and was told that I still had to pay $167.20. Nonchalantly was informed that I just was given the wrong info the day I canceled. No apology, nothing. Been with Direct TV for almost 20 years. I think this company is crooked and I do not recommend doing business with them.

At&t failures contine
June 11, 2020
Updated review

Today I got a call from an at&t customer telling me she has been receiving emails from at&t with my account activity that has included products ordered, shipping addresses, and phone numbers! Granted a lot of that is probably available to someone with simple internet skills, but to have a company like at&t sending it is a big time failure.

I've got a call into speak with someone, but told it could be 72 hours for a call back. I guess customer info security is not a big concern to them. :(

At&t website incomplete
June 1, 2020
Previous review

This weekend has been horrible trying to use the at&t website. I entered an order for a new line on my account on Friday. Come Saturday morning the order was cancelled. When I called in I was told it was flagged as fraud. The agent walked me through booking the order and I booked a second order for a new line. Everything looked fine all day Sunday, but come Monday not only was the ordered cancelled by my account was flagged for fraud! All lines were down and my login stated it was suspended! I called in again and I was told they are having a lot of problems with online ordering and only a manager can put through an order. I was told it would be up to two hours to get a callback. That time is up and I'm on hold for an agent.

This is not the only issue I've had with at&t this weekend. I can't access my MicroCell Management page and no one there knows how to do that. I also noted that on Friday there were no links to be able to look at or pay my bill online! The page is going through some changes as I can now get to bill paying, but things are changing. This haphazard web release would not have been acceptable and should not be considered acceptable for a company the size of at&t.

BREAKING! Please do not fall for At&t Coronavirus relief plan to not disconnect service due to non payment. Well, I am here to let you know that they shut down my service even though I made payments. They had my bill at 355 dollars a month for which I've been making 200 dollars payments for the past two months since I got the service back in March of 2020 based on the fact that they will not disconnect service due to Covid 19. We are now barely in the month of June and my service got disconnected. I tried calling every possible number for them to zero avail. So I pulled up the nearest location on Laguna blvd in Elk Grove CA. As soon as I arrived, they had a very young brat with bunch of tattoos on his arms sitting in front of the store to greet customers. I tried to let him know the reason for my visit, without any formal clarification of my issue, he straight said to me, you need to make your full payment before your service can be restored. So I asked to speak with the manager on duty, a gentleman named Joshua showed up with a very professional attitude and he listened to my concerns and in turn linked me with a very sound and professional lady named Teresa who made every attempt to resolve my issue but no luck. I ended up paying six hundred dollars before leaving the store and my service is still down after many hours. I only needed to make 581 dollars to get the account back on but even with the 600 dollar payment, my account is still off. I was only short 155 dollars for each of those two months and my service is disconnected for three times the past due amount. You could never reach anyone by phone for problem solving. WATCH OUT FOR RUDE AND INCOMPETENT STAFF AT THE STORE LOCATIONS!
SORRY, BUT THIS COMPANY SHOULD NOT BE IN BUSINESS. REAL RIP OFF. DON'T GET AT&T. YOU WILL REGRET IT I SWEAR.

AT&T signed the FCC's Keep America Connected pledge promising not to disconnect phone or internet services to customers who can't pay their bill due to COVID-19 through June 30th.

They lied. AT&T disconnected my internet for nonpayment on June 8, long before the June 30th deadline.

This company can't keep its word to the customers, and broke its word to the government. Report them to the FCC!
