Due to whoever reviewed my documentation for qualifying, they did not review all of my documentation and denied me based on only reviewing the first page. I called to clear up the mistake and was told I qualified and would receive a phone in 10 days, however the phone was never sent. I called to follow up and was told I did not qualify again based on only reviewing the first page of the documentation I submitted.

These people have had the audacity of colonist liars. I've lost my phone and they don't want to talk to me. They pretty much call my husband a liar. They sent to people to my place of business to give out phones. Those two told us that if we lost it reported a phone stolen that it would get replaced. I got the Motorola In which I had to pay $70 for. They also told me that every time they received an upgrade we will get one in the mail. We've had nothing but issues and they don't wanna deal with it. Instead they call us liars and act like we're a burden. Definitely not a way to conduct business. And this is not helping people. You're taking their money and then walking away. I'm also reporting this to Better Business Bureau. Yes I have proof and no I'm not showing you.

I have not one thing whatsoever to say that is positive about this company. Worst customer reps I ever dealt with never could talk to a supervisor was lied to many times by many different customer reps.
Assurance Wireless (T-Mobile) says my address is in their coverage area. A big joke. Like the old saying, "There is the coverage map, and then, there is the REAL world." For the first 9 months of service, I was getting signal strength measurements of -125 dBm 25 asu, which is a terrible signal. If I wanted to do any web browsing, I had to wait till 2am or later, just to grab a smidge of bandwidth. Meaning? There WAS no bandwidth. So called "techs" told me they are always working on improving the towers, (another lie). When I told them signal strength reports, as well as throughput (speed) and latency, (ping speed), and jitter (consistency of packet speed). They didn't know what the hell I was talking about. But ohhhhhh they insist they are techs; LOL I couldn't take the lies or stupidity anymore. I switched to another carrier.
Haf to fill application out 5 times.Said my current phone is compatible it was not. Because they use Sprint system and my phone was on T Mobile. ( same thing) They said Sim card not interchangeable. I told everyone that I talked to I had trouble understanding them and they lied to me in every phone call.one person told me I had to call another number before I could hang up phone was ringing same person said to call number he called from faster. I did and it was for a credit card application. Very sketchy I hung up. Bad customer service Bad Business practice overall zero rating but had to give one star just to leave a review.
Phone I received was broken. Received replacement that was broken, then had to pay for upgraded phone, and they shipped out and was a shock phone that was from 1988 2 mp camera,won't get nothing but 2g,died every 1 1/2 hrs, customer service then said I could get a replacement phone for a shipping charge of 20 dollars, I then find out my card had been charged more money, no supervisor every cause I h y are at home as one rep said, no home base no to call they are part of virgin mobile when doesn't exist in America anymore, and I hey tell you they have no idea of what phones they have in stock in warehouse, yet they try to sell you moto g phones for 50 dollars more and have a he people on the corners selling acp accounts selling you upgraded phones for 50 dollars that they get from company for free and hat they are suppose to be giving you for free, yet the corner people give you schok phones that's no good and outdated from and made in India. Don't use company ever unless you want your card info stolen your identity stolen,ripped off and old phones and terrible lying customer service reading script.where is the FCC who is suppose to be watching out for Americans. They just let businesses do what ever they want while the get rich, eat big budget dinner and drive by homeless people waving.
You do get free service but the phone they give you initially is unusable. Data will run out even though its supposed to be unlimited. When it does run out they will blame anything and everything and spout completely different protocol to get you off the phone. Example, with my unlimited data it has been over a month and they are not able to turn it back on and I have gotten 4 different stories. They just don't know what they are doing and I don't think they actually have supervisors. Stay away from Assurance. Based somewhere in the Philippines they are the utmost unprofessional people I have ever dealt with.
Had to keeping problem, gave express overnite service then told 3 more weeks waiting. 2nd rep hung up on me 3rd made it worse
Use another company for the lifeline service. Assurance sent me a phone that serves pretty much as a paper weight. By the time you can use the phone you can walk to the person you're calling much faster. It has taken me 2 months to type this review the phone is so slow. Use Airtalk.
I highly recommend this company they have been so helpful I have had a small issue with my phone and the lady was right on it. I'm a single mother so this free phone service is so helpful with keeping in touch with doctors and family. Thank you assurance wireless in everything u do and help. I will be staying with this company for a long time
I see there were many poor reviews of Assurance Lifeline on every review site. It's 6/15/2023 and I can attest that this is the best one now and I have tried them all. It's T-Mobile and it's fast. Best of all, the free Orbic phone is fantastic! It's better and charges faster than my old Galaxy. No dropped calls. Give them a chance! And No I don't get anything for this honest review.

Customer for 4 years. In the past 4 months I've been approved 2x for ACP. THEY closed my account both times with in 24 hours saying I "No longer qualify for either program bcz I haven't used my phone in 30 days! COMPLETE LIE. I'M WHITE & SOUTHERN, I GUESS IF I IMMIGRATED THRU SOUTHERN BORDER ILLEGALLY, THERE WOULDN'T BE A PROBLEM W/RECEIVING EITHER GOVT PROGRAM.
When trying to get free replacement they will go round and round for over an hr trying to get you to choose another option that will cost money... not once but twice this happened to me... When I ask to speak to a supervisor am either put on hold forever or hung up on...
Seems like a commission based customer service.
3hrs only thing accomplished my service suspended still haven't had phone shipped out...

Apparently it's okay for representative's to give false information and now I'm with out a phone. My phone was being expedited and I was going to receive it today, (waiting patiently) then I get a call on my Dad's flip phone that I don't get it for 5 more days. Terrible service!
This isn't anything but a scam they send you a phone that barely works they don't send the phones that they say that they have once the year is almost up your phone starts breaking down you call them and let them know because the phone is on a warranty so that they can send you a new one they tell you they're going to put you in a waiting list then what happens is when you call again to find out what's going on with the new phone replacement they tell you that the warranty expire and that they cannot send you one new unless you pay for another one this is nothing but a big scam.
I placed an order on Saturday 4 which I paid extra$ for express delivery. I received a tracking number which said I will get it on Tuesday by 8PM. By 7pm I had not received anything( given that FedEx already came to my building and left me no package) I decided to call FedEx and gave them my tracking number. They said they "package" is being sent back to the sender (Assurance) because it was "Empty". WTF is this all about. I call again and "Mark from assurance answered I have to wait for Thursday. I explained this to "Ala and Miki also representatives and None gave me a solution. Ala and Miki were insisting I wait til end of the day. Coincidentally Ala and Miki happen to be their birthday today. Like this is too much bul$#*!. I always had great service but this is out of line. An no one did anything to ensure my order was placed correctly. Miki stated that if I were to speak with her supervisor that Supervisor will do the same thing and tell me to wait (basically the supervisor would of done nothing either).HoRRIBLE SERVICE. I gave a 1-star rating cuz I had to in order to proceed with the review. If it were up to me I would of put 0 stars.)
Customer service is decent and the connectivity works great for me, but the phones that they provide to the customer are the worst devices ever manufactured, perhaps they do that so we are forced to buy a better model from them, which are over priced.
