I will not recommend assurance wireless to anyone constantly disconnections call customer care they fix it for three to maybe 4 hours before it gets disconnected again and now cannot use my phone to make calls after they suggest for me to power it off and power it back on
It's slow has no text data they say they fix it but they don't and it's the same for every phone I received
This is a total scam service and should be shutdown! They send you a phone that is recycled, almost broken and with a phone number that is assigned to someone else! The customer service is ignorant, rude and from a foreign entity! They won't replace your phone if it breaks and they want you to purchase a new one. This is not a free service and they send you harassment letters in the mail for no reason to tell you that no longer qualify for the phone service! You can not reach them by E-mail either. Don't waste your time on this service, because they will turn your phone off and you will either have to reapply, or buy the phone to keep your same number. They do not transfer your number to a new phone. Worst scam ever! Stay away from the foreign bots that want your money!
They switched me to ACP
For government money. That knocked my internet off, I was lifeline only. Now they want 20$ for a 3rd replacement phone that is still under warranty. Rude and scammers
Paid for a replacement phone that was broken agent sent several signals agent was so not forth coming. 1/2 day gone due not doing there job.i mention to the agent if they pull the recordings of my past convo meaning 20 mins before calling you back there will be loss of jobs.i was at the point to contact the Attorney General Garland. This is not the 1st time unprofessional has taken place here you must do better.with me and others who have assurance wireless know one should have to spend 1/2 day with something so simple by some employees who clearly Needs more Training it was like if was game to some of the employees. Also the new info to clients agent will send a text then you must give them code. I did not received a memo about this i hope its true looking into it THANK YOU
I will never and I mean never purchase a phone from any free phone service again. Since the shut down in March of 2020 it has been an issue getting a free phone. I really didn't have the $100.00 to pay for this T-mobile REVVLV phone but I was like hey use this as my work phone to make calls to consumers instead of my personal phone. July 5th I purchased this phone. August 30th while at work it just stopped working. In between time meantime this phone seemed to be full of viruses. The day after I began getting notifications of spams of porn sites etc...
This is a one and done. If it is not free. Like not a penny out of pocket. You can have it. Everyone trying too make a dollar. Assurance wireless you should be absolutely ashamed of yourselves. Exact reason why you get a one star.
They take advantage of all the lifeline customers, I wanted to use another phone because the one they issue is the biggest piece of garbage phone I've ever seen. Of course they won't let me, I put in a complaint with F.C.C.

It seems that only phones bought from Assurance are compatible with their service. I bought a new unlocked phone from Amazon, and was told that only phones bought through the Assurance website are compatible.
My advice is to NOT use Assurance wireless for your ACP provider.
I used to love this cell carrier. When I first got my phone and for the first 2 years or so, the cell reception was great. However, now, I can be sitting in one spot in my house and have full bars of reception... then a minute later, without moving an inch, my reception drops to nothing for no reason. I literally have to restart my phone 12 or more times a day just for it to regain cell signal. Sometimes it'll show that I have full reception signal, then as soon as I try to make a phone call or send an SMS message, it drops to no signal and tell me the "server cannot be reached". I NEVER had this issue until after it was time for me to upgrade my phone. I opted out of upgrading my phone because I like the phone I already have (not to mention, the only phone option they provided me with for an upgrade looked like a cheaper quality phone than the first one they sent me when I started my service with them), and shortly after the upgrade offer, I started having the reception issues. It's ridiculous and very frustrating. It's like I don't even have a phone. I cannot begin to count the number of important phone calls I've missed due to this issue. Or the times I've been away from home and desperately needing to make a phone call, but couldn't because Assurance Wireless' reception is no longer reliable. I do not recommend.
The device is a joke, it's not worth it, 3rd time I get a device from assurance and it is pretty crappie and they wNt to charge 20 bucks for delivery fee
They have been sending me a replacement phone overnight for the past month. They said no problem, we will send it overnight no problem. Big problem. The only thing less helpful is President Biden. My phone is stuck in airplane mode. So I called them and they say have you tried turning your phone off and I told them of course I did. They said did you try turning airplane mode off I said of course I did. After numerous dumb questions they finally said it was my SIM card and they sent me out a new SIM card which of course I told them would not work because the phone's not working it has nothing to do with the SIM card. So I took their stupid SIM card and stuck it in there stupid phone and the stupid thing does not work so I told them to send me another stupid phone and they keep saying they're going to overnight it but it is not arrived. Matter of fact I called them and hasn't even been sent out yet. This company is receiving government funds to provide services to people on food stamps. I think that should be reviewed. I get better phone service using a banana.
To anyone reading this do not apply for Assurance Wireless I promise you they will ruin your whole life everything you need a phone for they lie they don't send the phone when they say they are they canceled my lifeline and my ACP and then I had to go through a bunch of stuff I'm two weeks still without a phone they sent me one told me they got to send me another one I still don't have no service they are ridiculous the phone that they send you is a shock phone Android shock s c h o c k Google it it is freezing up before I even have service on it it is a piece of crap buffering buffering buffering don't go to Assurance Wireless they lie to you they canceled my life still nothing they have ruined everything I don't even have a phone anymore please if you see Assurance Wireless go buy it it the service is sucky anyway
ZERO rating if I could post a ZERO rating assurance would get a ZERO from my experience with their customer service my ZERO rating would be highly deserved. If you have to get in touch with their customer service you would be better off texting a bot. All of the customer service inquiries will be answered by someone reading from a screen. I had to deal with a language barrier on every call. To me they just have to be call centers whose employees are extremely unknowledged and should not have been hired by assurance, that's if assurance even hires them. My inquiries weren't addressed and they all repeat themselves over and over again even though I told the person(plural)3 to 4x's that "you are not answering my question", and yet they stuck to not answering my question hence repeated attempts in letting them know that they were repeating the same thing over and over and over again, and letting them know that they weren't answering my question.
This wasn't just one instance, but numerous instances.
I decided to call and immediately ask for a supervisor. Good luck with that! The supervisor is just a title to the call centers. In no way was the supervisor any help, so I asked to speak to the so called supervisors supervisor. I was told that I would have to speak to top management. When I asked to speak to someone in top management I was told that there was no way for them to transfer me, and the customer service rep would have to send top management an email. WHAT! I told the supervisor to send a message to top management and have someone from top management give me a call. GOOD LUCK with that too! Stay away from this company, because if you have to call assurance you'll be assured a headache.
Assurance, this is the worst service I ever received. The phone is horrible. The cell number was bad. I turn the phone off threw it in my closet and went with another provider. People unless you absolutely have no choice DONT WASTE YOUR TIME
So when I asked Assurance Wireless to send me another phone they told me that they were going to send me a bigger screen nicer 5G phone what did they do it just came today and it's another piece of garbage a name I've never heard of looks basically no different from the one that I've had from 3 years ago I'm so sick of these companies lying to our faces and they just get away with it they need to be held accountable I recommend everyone if you're looking into getting a low income phone do not use Assurance Wireless avoid it at all cost they don't live in Integrity they lie to you they hang up on you they treat you like garbage their cell service is horrible their phones are even worse and their employees don't treat you very well either there's other companies out there that I've heard of that actually give you something that's worth it and treat you better it's interesting that this is connected to T-Mobile supposedly and yet I've had amazing support through T-Mobile over the years with my other phone but Assurance is garbage the worst company out there for low income phones avoid at all costs save yourself some time and grief and deal with a company that is Kinder more understanding actually cares about their customers and doesn't treat you like a second-class citizen just because you're on low income Assurance Wireless should be ashamed of themselves but to feel any shame or guilt would take a heart and a conscience
So I'm wondering if I should switch my low income phone company I have a cousin who goes through a different place who actually gets a really nice phone this company gives you name brands you've never even heard of in the phones look like something from the late 90s and then they tell you that they can only give you phones that they have in their warehouse which means you most likely aren't going to get a phone that can even keep up with the times seems like other phone companies have better phones and usually always in stock actual name brand phones I'm super disappointed that I joined Assurance Wireless like 3 years ago the brand they gave me was something called UMX it's absolute garbage could barely even use my phone small screen clunky slow ridiculous I didn't know the dollar store sold phones cuz that's basically the best way I can describe it just a piece of junk and then I apply for a new phone and I get told well you may not get a nice phone because we have to see what's in our warehouse I don't care what you think is in your Warehouse we all deserve new phones that are actually name brands you can't just give us garbage that doesn't keep up with nowaday times super disappointed the other thing that happened is one of the people that I talked to earlier (Justin/Justine/Justice?) I talked to a week prior...this time hung up on me and I wasn't rude to her at all just frustrated didn't yell but spoke firmly about some issues and she straight up hung up on me... unprofessional unacceptable not ethical I hope she's held to account because the second person I talked to said "they're not allowed to do that to you" (2hich isn't true if your being super rude I would think) I could understand if I was calling them names and yelling at the top of my lungs...? But they just hang up on someone just because they can't handle someone speaking in Valor and advocating for themselves shows that you're fragile and you shouldn't be working with customer service... so we'll see what this next phone is that I get and that will be the deciding factor if I can continue with this bottom of the barrel company.
Two phones stopped working after a couple months, i only used them once or twice a month, i was promised a new phone with NO charge, after a week and a half, i called back only to be told i am not getting a new phone. All that, and they had thick accents and roosters crowing all around in the background….so, yeah!
I got a phone from them it worked for two weeks I've called about this 4 time no one fixed the problem and I still have no phone I feel like they are trying to get over on people plus why should I pay for the company mistakes?
I received a phone and it is crap. Yes I am on ACP free phone program. But the worked for maybe a week and then started having major issues. Phone is super slow way glitchy and only works when it wants to. Won't call or text says number invalid and then I use my friends pone and call or text the same number with no issues. So what to do you wonder. Maybe call and get a replacement. Yeah lets do that shall we... call and well yeah you can get a new phone but you gotta either pay for new one or pay the shipping costs. Well I didn't ask for a broke $#*! phone nor did I break broke $#*! phone.couldnt pay for phone, that's why I got on ACP prorgrm from the start. Well now what they don't wanna wave the fee nor help in any way, b great customer service...Not! DO NOT GET THIS GO TO the other ACP service cause once you sign up for this one you can't just cancel service and go to the other one because you are no associated with this program and will not qualify for the other service.Now I'm stick with Broke $#*! phone DO NOT GET THIS GO TO the other ACP
