They lied to me over and over. It took months to get a Replacement phone that they said they were sending. Finally, I got their Newest SCHOK phone and it did not function properly. I got a second replacement and it malfunctions in the EXACT same manner. Now, I have a third phone and it's worse than the other two. Sometimes, the data Works at 3G but it cuts on and off. The hotspot constantly disconnects. The phone calls will randomly drop and the screen goes dead. Phone locks up with a totally black screen on occasion. The phone volume is very low - even when using speaker phone. Customer service/repair tells me they are resetting tower and all will be good. They claim it will run at 5g after they reset. I turn device off for the reset and return to intermittent 3g and 4g data that constantly freezes and reloads. The customer service knows they are not helpful - so they make sure to knock me off the phone so I can't leave "negative" messages on the "customer service survey". Very manipulative customer service. I DO NOT RECCOMEND, even to my worst enemy. Very frustrating and big waste of time.

First of all it seems NO phone is compatible with assurance wireless so "bring your own phone" is cr@p. They also don't offer any phones for sale if you want to upgrade. So, you have to accept the horrible phone they give you which will barely meet anyone's needs if at all. Secondly, I've only had my service a week. I'm already receiving multiple texts AND emails per day reminding me I'm in "danger" of losing my service unless I use it at least once a month. I'm using it every day! I've only had it one week! I don't need to be reminded multiple times a day every day by both text and email that I'm going to lose my service! Leave me alone for crying out loud! The tethering or hot spot feature... slow as a snail!
No customer service! Staff gives you wrong information every time you speak to them. It's very frustrating when you speak to an agent & she has no idea what she's telling you.
Indian Hindu liars that said for weeks that my replacement phone would be shipped out. Never happened. No confirmation code or nothing. They need to remove all of these jobs from India and Phillipines.
I've found it very demoralizing to have to have a free phone when the phone for senior citizens has crappy service where I live. Assurance sent me a phone to my home mail and it was left in an unsafe rural type mail box where anyone could take it. I had my service disrupted when the SIM card didn't go into the old phone that was Sprint and the SIM was T-Mobile. I was told the FedEx was bringing it. Now I have a phone that gets messages and I don't know how to text on such a small key board so I don't text at all. It's got Malware too and I refuse to let it corupt my computer.
They assured me since before i signed up with them on dec. 28 2021 that i will have my same number well i got my phone yesterday now its nothing but lies and run around why i cant have it and i exposed them on their facebook page they blocked me and i reported them to the FCC today and i told them i would before a supervisor last night told me straight up go ahead report us.
My old phone was much better, new one is $#*!ing up constantly. Locked screen, can't work phone til turned off and on again if that even works, puts words I didn't type in and I have to backspace and remove them. Bad phone, takes up to 20 seconds to respond to commands. Old phone was quicker.
I just spent 30 minutes on the phone with a representative who was troubleshooting issues that I was not having. I explained multiple times my issue and then he stated to hard reset my phone which I told him that wasn't necessary and I didn't want to do that. I asked if that was a to switch my phone service to another phone and he dismissed my question several times. I told him I was not satisfied being that he could not resolve my issue and I will report this on the survey. The representative didn't transfer me to the survey line. This was on purpose! I've talked to many representatives previously and I was transferred to the the survey line every time. The representative did nothing but waste my time.
I have been waiting for my phone for TWO MONTHS. Their "alleged" customer service agents can't do much other than read a script and have little problem solving authority and, of course, there never is a supervisor available. I have been given 3 or 4 promises of "expedited delivery" and have been told my problem would be "escalated". But, of course, nobody ever calls, writes or texts AND my phone has not arrived and they can't provide a tracking number for the shipment. TWO MONTHS, 8 calls. Useless.

Wanted to cancel account so I can sign up with another company, called Assurance Wireless customer service 1/2 dozen times, they kept hanging up on me, putting me on hold forever, two agents supposedly took my cancelation information but never submitted it. Assurance Wireless is a cut throat business company.
I received the first phone, and with 3 months. It was faulty. Got another, 2 months later faulty. Just called to add more data. Representitive picked up and wouldn't say anything for 2 and a half minutes... then after trying to speak with her and realizing there was possibly a translation issue, I asked to speak with someone else. She said it was just her and no one else... then, she farted on the speaker of the phone... I ignored this. I asked her about data and what was availible, and how much it would cost... she immediately asked for my credit card information, and was going to charge me for an unknown amount,. I asked for a manager. She said no several times, and insisted that giving her my card info. Was simple. She finally put me on hold for 3 minutes, and came back and insisted she needed my card info. I asked her what she was charging me for and for how much. She didn't say, she just insisted it was simple to give her my card info... I hung up.-- I'm supposed to be getting free service, with 2gb of data, my phone shows I havent even used a third of the data allotement but the data will not work.
Assurance has gone to the dogs. They were awesome when I signed up with them now all they do is lie about my service. Im enrolled in the EBB program and they keep saying im not, which means they are frauds.If possible find another free phone company and stay away from UNASSURED WIRELESS

This is one of the worst companies I have ever seen. Why doesn't Lifeline pull them off of the list and find a reputable company. This is very unfair to people that qualify for Lifeline services but can't get their services to work through Assurance Wireless. I was approved and became a assurance wireless customer mid October. I finally received my cell phone mid November. I have had several problems with my account but since Dec. 16 I have had no service whatsoever, according to Assurance it's my phone. I have already been waiting since Nov. 19 for a phone since the first one they sent has issues. I received a email on December 8 saying it's back ordered and will arrive in 8 to 10 days, it's December 31st and no phone, no service.
Every other week they send me an email telling me all issues on my account have been resolved! What a joke.
I just recently registered to assurance wireless online last November and I was shocked when I received a Samsung S10 on my mailbox last week. Apparently, assurance is providing new phones and samsung is one of them.

Always disconnects customer calls when they cannot hear them because and they always asking for names and numbers and last for social security numbers they need to stop this immediately.? I hope that they consistent customers again.?! Stop immediately
The manufacturer is in Indianapolis. Ordered a replacement phone on 26th of November. THEY offered it free of charge then told me it would take 21 days for the phone to come.It never came. Called and they claim its a delay. Dont comprehend very well, I had to explain to csr 30 times I was calling from someone else's phone to see what was Goin on. They want you to pay but fail to express an upfront fee to get things movin. They use the torture tactic and bait and switch to see if you crumble and pay instead.Not me I waited that longtime for a phone to get here that was never sent in the first damn place so I'm not paying to rush anything just to e disappointed again... I dont think so.
