I'm enrolled in ASSURANCE WIRELESS UNLIMITED PLAN.Im limited in minutes and I'm on the phone with a representative for the 6th time in a month for 20 mins or more. They can never tell the truth about my status of my plan. Called the number to check my status and it says UPON CHECKING YOUR STATUS I SEE You're ALREADY ENROLLED IN THE UNLIMITED PLAN then hangs up, FRUSTRATING. When informing them of the days I called it's apparent he doesn't know because he keeps asking me the days because they don't have correct documentation of their performance. I'm unemployed
I don't know why. I just got this phone and it takes a ridiculous amount of time for a text to come through, even if the phones are side by side. I mentioned this to them and they said they apologize for the inconvenience. The customer service is in another country and it takes a while to get someone. To be fair I'm not sure if I should have given up my $20 plan for this through t-mobile. I was trying to save money but now I basically can't get texts anymore. Imagine if someone texts you something important and you don't see it for hours/days later (or never).
I'VE HAD UNLIMITED SERVICE FOR OVER TWO YEAR'S AND ALL OF A SUDDEN MY SERVICE HAS BEEN INTERRUPTED, I'VE BEEN CALLING SINCE YESTERDAY(WEDNESDAY)11:45 A M. BUT AN ADVISOR WILL ANSWER IN LESS THAN 30 SECONDS, AND I'M STILL WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO ANSWER MY CALL... THEY HAVE MESSED UP AND DON'T WANT TO BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR THEIR BS. I'M WITHOUT A PHONE AFTER 5 YEARS OF SERVICE, THEY JUST FCKD' ME UP WHAT CAN I DO WITHOUT A PHONE, NOTHING. SOMEONE NEEDS TO PUT MY UNLIMITED SERVICE BACK ON MY PHONE ASAP!
From my experience, my first phone would not keep a charge and randomly power off and the replacement phone was even worse. These may be refurbished phones but I use that word lightly because it seems they are just given a quick check. When I had to contact customer support again for an updated phone, I made it a point to ask if I could just purchase one of their approved phones. The rep assured me that a new phone would be sent as I am not able to use my phone (it's dead). After a couple letters stating they would be switching from the Spring 3G network and saying that I needed to respond, I called back to renew the application process and mail in the requested information (sensitive information) with their provided envelope. I still get letters claiming I need to respond and have made my last attempt at contacting them regarding the application status. I might get the phone or not but my main concern is where my information is going as they never follow up with anything and the call centers are not local so some reps are very difficult to understand.
Based on my experience, I wouldn't recommend anyone on a fixed income or short-term financial disadvantage attempt to apply for this service. If you need something for work or emergencies (ie: family, etc), it is better to find a cheap TracFone or similar and keep track of your minutes.
I got my phone less then 2 weeks ago it didn't work they sent me another one that barely works I called customer service about a upgrade and got nothing but the run around come to find out the simcard is locked so you can't use in a different phone don't use assurance wireless
Slowest and most mediocre phone ever used, throw away if owned. Don't consider getting even if it is free online.
I have already returned two phones now the third dont work either. I need the phone for medical purposes. Not good company as far as phones!
Keep sending me the Unidex. Lasts only about an hour. They are patronizing and keep telling me what they think I want to hear. They always say, "What can I do today to put a smile on your face." A working phone will do the trick. Ugh.
The first phone they sent me had such poor sound that I couldn't even hear it ringing a lot of the time. The phone never notified me of incoming text messages. The screen was so hard to look at because half of it looked cloudy depending on how you held it. Finally I got them to send me another phone and I've had it for less than a day and it just shut down while I was in a phone call and I can't get it to turn back on, so here I sit using an old phone via wifi. Tomorrow I'm going to AT&T to get great service and to transfer my number back over. The concept of a phone that I can use that's affordable and functional is a myth when it comes to Assurance Wireless. I'm going to be contacting the BBB and others to report this. What a $#*! show.
There phones are not worth a penny. I know they supply the phones but they have sent my dad 6 phones and u charge them and u get it set up and u might get to make one call if u lucky but my dad need his phone but it not worth having one if it not going to work.ot just a waste of time I really upset with them if my dad don't have a phone I can't get in touch with him I love a hour and 45 minute from him and I hate to leave him because no phone I just have to worried about him at one time it miss up had to do a wafefair check to find out if he was ok. If y'all can't send phones that work what good is it worth being no phone if they don't work..
They give away JUNK! GO ELSEWHERE! Your better off not having a phone! Their customer service SUCKS ALSO!
I had Ivan, a Supervisor, refuse to understand my situation in the state of a Family emergency. You are supposed to be able to use a phone to call and talk or text oe Internet. The first phone they sent the speaker dosen't work, the second phone beeps loud and turns off in the middle of a conversation. The 3 phone, they refuse to send out even after i returned the first one. Now they want me to return a phone that i don't have the label for, because I am in another state. This IS THE WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DELT WITH and THEY LEFT ME HANGING IN A STATE OF EMERGENCY! I HAVE BEEN WAITING 6 MONTHS FOR A WORKING PHONE. IM DISABLED AND ALL, IVAN THE SUPERVISOR DID WAS LAUGH! GOOD LUCK TO YOU IF YOU USE THEM, IM GOING BACK TO SAFELINK, WHERE THEY DO THEIR JOB CORRECTLY.
Sort of a trap. They give a free phone that's basically unusable and it usually quits working. They then make you buy a more expensive phone from them. It's better and less frustrating to go with a regular pre paid service.
I got a new phone with screen went black within 3wks wouldnt power on took me almost a month to get replacement phone crappy lying customer service always said your phone is being shipped lies I had to call for almost 3wks! And note everytime I called my order wasnt processed! Well finally got the phone and low and behold on day 6 same thing happened AGAIN!
I believe they are involved with Russian hackers they hacked my phone after 8 years and are not helping me

I've had my phone about 2 weeks and so far have had great service no problem getting on the Internet had to call customer service to reset my voicemail almost no wait, took 5 minutes to resolve. But the phone's are crap. Wow I was using the phone it made about half of a ringtone and then went black tried resetting it taking the battery out absolutely nothing it's a dead phone but I called this morning had to be on hold for about 5 minutes and they said they would get me another one out within the week we'll see
They are not delivering the unlimited plan they keep promising. I have made numerous calls to them and they keep promising the problem will be fixed in a few hours. It's been a month now! I still don't have the unlimited everything plan
