Not usable due to the torrent of spam & phishing calls & messages from "Verified" #'s.
NO option to report to Assurance. They do NOT care that these calls are targeting seniors. Maybe that's the "real" business model? I don't know, but, I do know that's the only thing it has been for me

My screen is cracked on my government issued galaxy s10 so I called them snd they said yes I was due for a upgrade and i would receive ⁰another galaxy s10 and I did NOT they sent me the worst phone on this planet it's a POS SCHOK just read the reviews on them lol it's a frickEn joke I kept my broken screen galaxy s10 so I sent the pos one back LOL and they told me they would send me another Galaxy S10 which they didn't they sent me the same phone in the same box that i returned the junky one back in so I just got off the phone with them a while ago with nothing but BS I shouldn't have to buy another

Absolutely sucks

Yes, im very grateful for how sweet and always congenial my customer service experience is.
But a lifeline that takes a month to arrive and each phone craps out within a month or two... isn't exactly an effective life supporting service!
Mapping has no ability to stay connected when traveling, staff refused my request to change my number to my local area code, suspended my account when a defective phone hadn't arrived returned to them yet, commented twice on my personal surroundings while I waited an hour to pay for a replacement device which should have been free, all kinda device issues more service and account discrepancies. Thank you EBR thank you lifeline thank you DHFS but Assurance wireless has not been living up to its government contract!

Spoke to customer service for replacement phone, wverything fine. A week later no phone has arrived. Now I have to pay $39.00 for a new phone because warranty has passed. It wasn't the case last week. I was told to call back to get the tracking # then I found out about the money. The phone and my service is free because of disability, yet I would rather pay for service now. F THEM.

During last 12 month I paid $45.00, $65.00 for better phone (with hope), both of these times same problem.
Oh yes, I called them many times, but never got help.my problem was that phone connection is always on and off. I am finally reached point where I cannot stand with them anymore. I am now out of from this trash assurance or $#*! full co.
Make simple and short, DO NOT EVEN THINK OR CONSEDER THIS TRASH CO>

If I could give this company zero stars that's what it would get. This company is complete trash. You can have problems for months and each time you call in you have a new representative you have to explain everything to. Each representative tells you something different. I have one bar to no service in my own home. I live in a city and have no metal roof or metal siding. They tell me there was an update to their towers that my phone isn't recognizing and my phone is out of warranty but I can purchase a new phone. That's how they get people. They update their systems to where people's phones will no longer work and you are required to purchase them. If you cannot use your phone in your own home this defeats the purpose of a free service. I do not recommend.

I just got this phone, and already it's giving me trouble. It's obviously out of date and old. When I'm on the phone, I can't hear the other person. Just to hear what they are saying, I have to turn the speaker on. When I touch the touch screen, it reacts very slowly. Not to mention that it opens apps that I never even clicked on, sometimes it doesn't work at all and I have to wait for the phone to unfreeze or turn it off entirely. I've decided to switch phone providers.

I waited over a year to get a Coolpad phone. The people who worked for them lied to me, everytime I called, they said I was getting 1 mailed 2 me. Well you can guess never received 1. After 2 years of putting up with there crappy phones, that don't work, and crappy service. I'm done, dropped them today!

My old phone stop taking a charge and I just recieved in the mail an Assurance Wireless letter saying I was eligible for a new phone. That was three weeks ago and still no phone! I talked to their NO CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE three times since then! Still no phone! I'm elderly and have health problems! I need a phone for that reason alone! I have things for sale and no one can contact me! I can't talk with anyone at all! A telephone is an essential part of daily life, except when you are with Assurance Wireless! The only ASSURNACE YOU WILL GET FROM ASSURANCE WIRELESS IS, " NO CUSTOMER SERVICE" at least expecialy when you need it! If I looked at their companies rating of nearly nothing, i would never selected Assurance Wireless at all! You would think that since their rating is so low that they would do soemthing about it! They just don't give a rat's $#*! about their customers!

Ever since I got new phone, have not been able to access the site. Wound up paying 20.00 twice this month to keep phone on, and it's a free phone. Reregistered it on Thursday, today I called because I am still unable to access site. The woman on the phone said it was registered to a different person and that I no longer am eligible for free phone. I said bull@#?" and hung up. Will not not dealing with them again.

I've been sent two Schok phones that don't work, drop calls and are JUNK phones. Years ago if you signed up for Lifeline at least you got a phone that would work. It may not have been the BEST phone but they worked. Now, they are just sending JUNK phones to people, collecting government money that is supposed to be helping struggling Americans and burning off with the money, leaving people who desperately need a phone number with crap phones and stuck without service when, not IF, the phones quit working. I am so disgusted at what these supposed "Lifeline" providers are doing to already hurting people. And yes, I am doing everything I can to try and help myself. Thanks to this company, I may or may not get much needed calls from potential job applications. To top it off, all the customer service jobs are outsourced to foreign countries so when you do call customer service you can't even understand what they are saying and they DON'T CARE anyway. They are making a buck off of our tax dollars and a program that is supposed to be helping Americans who need it.

These people, although helpful to a point, as far as support goes, there comes a point wher they make an independent judgment call. They told me they were sending me a replacement phone, after 3 weeks of me trying to figure out where it was, I came to find out they never even took the report and had to start again making it over a month without. This has now happened twice, they evidently think we are manipulating our own system and are just trying to hustle for free equipment. Funny cause the phones they provide for free are worthless and break through no fault by mistreatment by us, or me, who do they think they are they don't have anything to do with our free phone program, they are simply using it to establish their business, and they have. Lacking professional behavior and showing no respect to keeping their personnel judgments out of the mix. The phones they provide really are garbage and really do break all the time. I nave serious medical issues and each time they play these games I fall out of contact with the doctores that I rely on to keep me alive. While they just think we are feeling entitled and believe its their job to regulate by making us believe it's in the mail. 3rd grader behavior and thats twice they lied to me and I'm done. I been with them a long time and watched them build that company on the backs of our laws. Zero integrity. Thats what you get when you use cheap overseas people to do customer service. Bye, see ya.

Thank you so much for the free service and free phones each month and unlimited talk and text and high-speed data plus 10 GB of hotspot I want to thank you so so much for your time your reps you're shipping off the phone on time or late it doesn't matter but I really appreciate the phone the service did delivery time the delivery date that it comes at 8:00 a.m. or 8:00 p.m. I just I just love service with you guys I hope you guys understand that I will always always will turn off what you need and I always give that back to you thank you so much you made my day I will rule my day with you think thank you so so much full you're free stuff that you give to us thank you thank you thank you thank you

This has to be the WORST experience EVER! AND it has been going on for months! UNACCEPTABLE! This company has the most INCOMPETENT LIARS posing as "customer service" reps! They have "NO CLUE" to what the hell is going on! They are receiving a paycheck for doing a job that they "DO NOT DO"! They ask questions that should already be in the notes, but ohhhhh noooo they want you to answer the questions! So therefore I should receive 'THEIR' paychecks!

These people in the Philippines are USELESS! Why aren't there any AMERICANS working for this company?!?! Isn't this assurance wireLESS based out of AMERICA?!?!

I GUARANTEE that I haven't been complaining about this company & its employees!

I had received a letter saying I was eligible for new phone so I called in to claim the phone. Waited 2 weeks for the phone to arrive and nothing. I called in again was told the phone order would be sped up I should receive it immediately. Waited 7 more days called in again and was told I wasn't approved for new phone. Beware they lie and it's pointless trying to get this resolved. If I could rate them 0 I would.
