I'd estimate 90-95% fake profiles and con artists on AM. Fakes and bots are used to make you deplete credits. Con artists make money by blackmailing and ruining your reputation. Either way, AM is dangerous and useless. I did not find what I wanted, I didn't even get close to it. Basically I just wasted my money. My experience with AshleyMadison was horrendous. After wasting tons of credits I hooked up a real woman but she turned out to be a con artist and an experienced blackmailer. She nearly ruined my life. Don't play with fire guys!

Ashley Madison is MOSTLY FAKE SITE. If you are a man don't waste your money! Real women like me are trying to connect with you but we get blocked by the company so they are just taking your money! They block my account everytime a guy sends me their info. If you are a man don't waste your money! I joined Ashley Madison beginning of December. Earlier this week I purchased credits and Mobil access.
When I signed off I 183 credits and payed for mobel access in full.
Next day I signed on I had no credits and mobel access.
They just took my money and in return I got nothing but the bill.
I've tried to contact them at Ashley Madison. Com but it says there contact us feature doesn't work.
Don't use this service there is no way to contact them, it's a scam.

The profile of the woman I was hoping to meet up with was totally fake and she quit communicating with me after receiving $360.00 dollars from me on green dot prepaid credit cards. I feel so stupid that I didn't pick up on what was happening. So if u see these 2 pics on Ashley Madison stay away. The prepaid cards we're supposed to be to get onfido clearance instead it's fraud just wanting money from u.

I have been attracted to the site by its rather "good reputation" and it turned to be a total disappointment for me.
After using it for a month I am absolutely sure this is a 90% scam. The rest 10% is covered by "professionals" in the field of "dating".
Many if not most of the conversations are probably computer generated, not initiated by real people.
And, believe me, I had a very reasonable expectations, was not looking for a twenty years younger beauty, not even five years younger one. And I am not ugly person at all.
And the most frustrating thing was this fake responses from some kind of a "smooth operator".
Total waist of money and time.
Even one star would be probably too much to give.

They have fake profiles message you, to get you to spend your credits. Definitely a rip off. Stay far away.

This is full of bots posing as women. They double charged my credit card and have no answered a single email request to correct. I actually asked for my money back within hours of signing up for the site because it was so painfully obvious that it was a fake sight. I have been ignored for weeks now. So now I'm letting my credit card company battle Ashley Madison. This will be a huge mistake. Stick with reputable sites such as Match.com or even Plenty of Fish for free.

I was on AM 9yrs ago. Back then there wasn't as many escorts or catfish online. I did find several honest to goodness ladies online and had a long term affair with one of them.

Just now, I was on for about a month. I chatted with several real ladies, met 2 that really seemed good at first but ended up being very strange and I had to cut it off. The last straw was a catfish, but it was very apparent that it was fake. LOTS of young escorts peddling their wares on there now.

You have to be careful because AM has hidden fees that will be charged unless you opt out. Quite a few traps like that.

If you are really serious about finding the perfect match, it will take lots of your time and credits (money). But I think most will find someone if you are not really picky.
Remember, those of us on AM are cheaters, liars and not the cream of the crop, lol. Beware of scammers, catfish, fakes, etc.

I've heard and read that most of the women profiles are fake. I tried a free subscription to try it out, and of course I received a decent amount of "replies" on my profile. After a couple months of that I bought the minimum amount of "credits" for interaction with these women. I've used up half of my credits sending messages and haven't received a single text message from a supposedly interested woman. I would avoid this site if you are a guy. Women are free, so they have nothing to lose.

1. There are not as many women on here than you think.
2. AM uses fake ads to make men spend $9-$14 credit
3. If woman is more than 12 years your junior she's a scammer.
4. If she is super attractive she's a scammer and chances are she is a porn actress stolen pic. Janella Jensen she is a real stage name and real life scammer, ut makes money off lonely men. Danger, I did research and paid private eye.
If you are over age 40, especially over age 55 stay off dating sites. You have no SMV to offer ladies. Go to bunny ranch.

This site is a scam. I have been on for less than one week (joined 9/2021) and have received communications from several obvious bots: - 1) bots that say, "send a message and photo and I'll decide if I'm interested," even though I have a robust profile and lots of photos; 2) bots that have canned garbage that obviously shows that no human read my profile; 3) even a bot that used the very same model in another account with an almost verbatim profile. What a joke! I've cancelled and can only hope that AM only conned me out of $60 for the initial 100 credits. Someone should sue these sleazebags.

Made the profile yesterday, Had a date literally today, went to see the details and my whole profile is gone and it won't tell me why nor can I even contact tech support DURING THE DAY. It made me miss my first date today with someone I REALLY liked and won't even tell me why it deleted my profile. I've been doing this lifestyle for years and avoided AM cause the media coverage but now I know the media was right. Ashley Madison is terrible and their tech support doesn't even exist. Just look up another site rather than even trying with Ashley Madison.

The price they charge, the minimum price, is way too overpriced. 1/10 are real, true women. Complete rip-off. Avoid this site. Any other top dating sites are better than this one. A very poor functionality on the app/site and support is a complete joke. One could guess that the support employee(s) are too busy creating fake profiles. Not to mention your normal catfish and people that want you to "send photos" through the chat feature which serves one purpose, to take your "credits" that you use for chatting with real people. If someone wants to see your pictures, you profile picture and the link embedded takes you right to it. Seems obvious this is all a cash grab for this poorly operated company. Just stay away from it.

This dating site is a total waste of time and effort, most useless dating site I've ever come across, it's expensive buying there stupid credit system just to talk to mostly scammers. Absolute garbage site. Save your money and find a more respectful dating site. I gave 1 star simply because there is no 0 star

Their major profit center is scammers, which they do nothing to stop. Don't waste your money or time. Easier to flush your money down the toilet. Help center are not helpful - a parasitic app and administrator's.
