The overall reputation of Ashley Madison is marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to the prevalence of fake profiles and perceived scams. Many users express frustration over the high costs associated with the platform, which they feel exploit their desire for genuine connections. While some customers report occasional success in meeting partners, the overwhelming sentiment is negative, highlighting concerns about financial exploitation and inadequate customer support. Despite its established brand presence, the company struggles to address these critical issues, leading to a lack of trust and a recommendation to avoid the service.

This site if full of fake profiles. They use fake profiles to get you to purchase credits. They email you with profiles showing interest in you in a attempt to get you respond to use up your credits. Many times the profile no longer exist. I truly believe, the people who run this site actively troll it's members using these profiles to lure its members to purchase additional credits. This is the worst site ever. They show your payments as AMDB.
This has to be the biggest waste of money I have ever spent. There may be a 5 out of 100 that real and the other 95 women are FAKE as all HELL. MEN save your money and you'll have better luck at a bar.
I wanted to give this -10 stars but sitejabber won't let me.
I have placed a profile on this site 3 times and I've never met one woman. There are so many fake profiles and scammers and the profiles of women whose profiles might be legitimate rarely respond or follow through. The AM ads make it sound like it is so easy to find a married woman for an affair. I would not recommend spending a dime on this site. There is not a sex dating site anywhere that is legitimate or I haven't found it yet
As a guy, every single message you write costs credits. Send a wink or an emoji to someone, that's 5 credits. 100 credits is $65. And they send your messages "priority" which is an extra 9 credits without you knowing. Horrible app! Such a rip off. A simple conversation with someone will cost you $50 haha don't do it!
Who every created apps like these needs to be shot in the $#*!ing face. 5 TO 10 $$$ to send a fake person a message, so $#*!ing stupid. $#*! YOU! Waste of my time.
95% fake profiles from Asia trying to scam you out of as much money as they get. The obvious fakes are the ones with no pictures.
Got to buy credits to send messages. I got no replies back from women in my city, not even a look at my profile and I posted authentic pictures,, was polite, everything. No answers. So let the account go dormant. Suddenly there are women whom the site says they fit my parameters, suggests that a woman has shown interest. All the hoopla to try and get me to send messages and use up credits,, top up discounts continuously offered. The women I have messaged and never hear back from are always on but have never looked at my profile,, the women the site has been trying to get me to contact are never online and have never looked at my profile,, long story short,, I bought the cheapest package to try the site out. It's been about 2 months and have not had one response and of the 5 that looked at my profile in that time where from hours away from my hometown. Do something good with your money,, feed a homeless person, you'll feel better after..
I have used AM for a couple of years with some degree of success. I gave up last fall since it seemed fake profiles and bots were all that I encountered. I evidently had a senior moment and forgot about the bots, etc and signed up again. Same old bots and fake profiles. I don't believe any of the responses or any notifications I have received are from real people. My advice is to stay away from Ashley Madison.
6 years ago I registered in Ashley Madison I was miserable in my marriage and I meet other lovely guy that was married also he was miserable in his marriage
He work in wall street and he is very successful and the same is my story I am very successful I work for hotel industry
So we start fooling around and everything start like a game but this story transformed into the most amazing love story.
6 years later he divorced his wife I divorced my ex husband and we are so in love
We are engaged today and we are crazy about each other
Ashley Madison is the best site in the world
And dreams become reality when you list expect.
So yes take a risk jump and register you never know who you will meet and maybe get married with a successful amazing person.
Ashley Madison is total fake, I spent $90 and friend of mine spent $500. Instead we received comments from fake ladies that I need to send more message as if they make money when I sent and spend my credits. Multiple replies were exact same wording replies but with different pictures…
Very disapointed with Ashley Madison fake ladies, perhaps a bot or guys/girls working for Ashley MAdison in another country
I bought $50 worth of credit and then my account was suspended without any explanation or reason for suspension to my account. I emailed to them and there was no response. This is a site should be avoided. They take your money and they do not explain why they suspended your account.
Beware of carefully executed extortions by employees of James D Mynster of 109 Water, Hampton, VA. Skype videos are captured and blackmail is attempted. AVOID Skype sessions or realize they are being recorded. Mynster's operation is a VOIP data center using girls with Enflick accounts.
Mostly a scam with fake profiles and heavy messaging fee. They post return messages making it sound real but actually are not. They expect you to spend 100s of dollars before it actually works. Dont waste your time try a bar instead.
I accidentally purchased $70 woth of credit from Ashley Madison but I just discovered they starting me $29.99 monthly fee without asking for my permission. I spoke with my credit card company and they explained to me that Ashley Madison copied my financial information and used it to enroll me in some kind of contract without my permission or knowledge. I'm hoping and waiting for law suit against AM for scaming and robing people...
They sold me a credit package for $90. Only got to message like 5 profiles. They would not give me a refund. They're a bunch of con artists. Horrible site, would not recommend!
I joined and the first 10 contacts said all the right things, sent the right pics then went to needing some emergency cash or gift cards. Complete scam.
AM could correct by requiring Drivers License sign up documentation but this would reduce all the messaging which is how they make their money!
Watch out for any correspondence with the term "dear" Not used in US but prevalent in Africa. Your better off burning your money versus joining this scam.
You cannot write to customer support as this function is disabled. 99% of the few members they have are college girls looking for money. I did a worldwide search and they have so few members. I am guessing they are out of business. Don't send any money to them as they may be scamming people and didn't learn from the last judgment they had
Ok, let's start with the total bs.
The men outnumber the women 25:1 They lie so much about that.
Any new profile under 25 is almost guaranteed to be a hooker or a fake.
So, sure there are some real older ladies in the ocean, but they're surrounded.
They send messages on behalf of women. They lie. Don't waste your money, 60 dollars for 10 messages? This is a scam
I am a new paid member as of late December and am finding the web platform locks up making edits to any web fields extremely difficult, sometimes impossible. As of this post I am unable to send messages even though I have paid for the ability to do so. I could not even send a message on the platform to report the issues, instead having to go to the parent companies website and send a note. I am awaiting a response which they indicate can take 24-48 hours. If I cant get a resolution I will seek a refund.
As far as members, there seem to be a fair number of real people but the quantity is a trickle compared to other sites. That is understandable given the niche nature. So don't expect match or POF membership levels. Also, based on the sassy profile summaries I am reading the ratio of women to men is very very low... as in women are taking in entitled terms.
If they fix the technical issues AND I get some kind of real responses I may continue with the membership.
Answer: Guys, it should not be so complicated to reach out to a girl for a hook up! You can find thousands of them on https://j4l.com/402007 They will contact you themselves, you don't have to put in any efforts if you want to have some fun time online. Or you just need to travel to them but it will be very rewarding, exciting and, what's essential, safe and SECRET experience!
Answer: Cops won't entrap you on AshleyMadison, they don't care. But you wife probably does. Often, she is worse than cops! Lol It's impossible to stay anonymous on AM - it's a well-known site. If you want to keep your affair secret, look for a safer platform, e.g. http://J4Love.net I had two affairs through their service. It was safe, private, unknown to the world and tremendously hot!
Answer: Kind of expensive because they charge by credits. There are cheaper solutions (vm, saphrina, some aff sites)...
Answer: Well, basically you purchase credits and you spend them every time you message someone...
Answer: This site is free for women, which i believe is a big problem. That is why many "professionals" join and try to make you join other sites, cam sites, etc. On sites like vm, saphrina, etc women usually pay as well which is good for the quality of the female profiles. But i guess if you are a woman you should rather join AM.
Answer: The question shouldn't be is it real, but is it worth it. If even one man/woman managed to have an actual affair through Ashley Madison, you could say that it's real. If for every 1 real affair/hookup there are 100's or 1000's of fake users to slog through all the while you're giving them your hard earned money... does that sound like it's worth it?
Answer: If it walks like a duck, and sounds like a duck what is it? Going to church has gotten people laid more than Ashley Madison.
Answer: Bill, this website is not owned by Ashley Madison. If you need to contact them you can call their toll free number 1-866-742-2218. Good luck!
