I have spent almost $200 on Ashley Madison over the last 2 years. Most of the women profiles are fakes. Ashley Madison will even send you emails to contact the fake profiles. This site is a scam, if I were you, I would look elsewhere.

The girls under 30 that are real, are most often hookers looking for cash for sex. The ones over 30 are mostly bots. I'd like to hear other opinions about how to recognize them, but here are some of the things I've noticed about bots:
1. Communication is very short: "Are you into sex?" "Hi Handsome."
2. They don't answer your questions very well
3. Frequently they don't have a picture or many pictures.
4. Things they post don't respond to what you wrote.
5. Their profile isn't real e.g., 6'2", 155 lbs "A few extra pounds" (NOTE: 155 isn't fat for someone 6'2")

I found a real person about once a month. I had lunch with one of them. Otherwise I came up dry. There must be a better hook-up site for the mature crowd.

I paid $270 for an account and got nothing for it.
I counted all 50 out of 50 profiles I initiated with were all bad.
It cost $4 for each contact and got nothing.

Please do not pay the money! Had many girls asking me to message them so I gave in, paid tge money and havent got a like or message since lmao! DONT DO IT

Nothing but a money scam. All the profiles are fake or scammers. Spent $50 bucks for 5 messages and they were all fakes and scams. DON'T USE THIS SITE!

Most of the Profiles on the site are fake and only send you messages until you buy credits to see them and respond, then after you purchase your credits the messages are generated thru a bot, as in they give the same responses.

Never got to exchange anything beyond hi and hello… seems cheating to me. Not real at all. It's alluring to fall for it and help Ashley make money. I want to file a fraudulent case

They don't provide what they promise, their ads are misleading, they send you auto-generated messages from fake profiles to lure you into buying credits so you can write them back. Then no one answers your messages, it rarely goes beyond the first message.
When the site is not phony, you keep getting responses to your messages, the majority of women reply to your messages, unless you write them something really rude or absurd. This is the sign that the site is real and the women are genuine. But it's not about AshleyMadison - all they do is try to attract you by using fake profiles and generic messages.

Joined sometime back and in the past 3 weeks have been seriously looking to meet someone. Issue is there are a very small pool of real women with pics, that usually don't respond or respond with a generic comment like " I only have time to respond to full messages" thing is it was a full intro message with comments on their profile pics etc... These are simply fake accounts with bots responding.

Then you find loads of interaction with no pic profile women that want to go to email chat... These usually end up being some dating scam after they gain your trust you get hit with a sob story about bank card / bank review BS, need help!... Run run run... This site is filled with fake profiles, bots and scammers.

Plus they don't have any verification methods.

This company is a formal catfish company. Most accounts are fake from overseas with a model face and no description. The other accounts consist of sugar babies. What's more this company would continue charging you every month for no reason. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your money witch is at least 200$!

The site itself scams you by sending you messages that appear to be from a potential partner. However it is A.M. "baiting" you into using your credits to reply. If it is not the site scamming you, 90% of the profiles are scammers that will immediately ask you to message them in another format and begin to scam you for money. Don't waste your time or MONEY! Ashley Madison is the biggest dating scam on the planet. If I could give zero stars, I would.

Do not waste your time. The site use to be decent but over the past year I guess had become nothing but fake profiles! Would not recommend to anyone anymore! Wouldn't even give it 1 star but unfortunately I couldn't submit this w/o one.

This sits users use fake profiles to entice members into chatting and buying credits to keep on chatting! There were several users using the same profile pic on two different accounts! Then there were the profiles that wanted some members to text off site to do business away from the platform! There was also a group of Asians and people from other countries purporting themselves to be in the US attempting to get members to spend on credits! Question you have to ask yourself what kind of kickbacks are they giving some of these fake profiles! Advice you have a better chance of hooking up at the local bar or club then on this site, don't be suckers and waste your money!

The women I have contacted on this site are fake. They ask me to download some app called hangouts which probably is a hacker. All the sites charge you money and have all these fake women. Bad thing about AM is they charge at least twice the money for all these fake women. Gentlemen stay away from this site!

What a scam. $70 to send 4 messages. Then when you open your messages they are all pre prepared BS.

If you enjoy fake profiles and messages, and paying for them, join AM. If you want a vendor which will charge your card over a year after you have signed off because they were crooked, join AM. I have blocked AM with PayPal, and AMEX, for over a year, and am still having to dispute charges
That reoccur. Don't worry about speaking to an AM representative, that won't happen. My profile is still on AM... can't take it off. No wonder they say they are the largest site! And as far as meeting someone off AM, well, free beer tomorrow...

Five years ago I had success with meeting real women on this site. However, during the past three years, I've only encountered fake profiles, scammers, and increased prices. All in all, I'm wondering if the previous owners sold off their solid product to some less-than-desirable newcomers who don't have legitimate aspirations to offer a solid product anymore;(

Ive been on the site for 5 months. Not one date. My mesage box gets full with what seems to be automated messages, when i reply to the messages (in very respectful ways) i never get a respose. If you use the free wink that is designed to see if they like your profile, you get a reply that says they only respond to full messages. To send full message it costs money.
