The overall reputation of Ashley Madison is marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to the prevalence of fake profiles and perceived scams. Many users express frustration over the high costs associated with the platform, which they feel exploit their desire for genuine connections. While some customers report occasional success in meeting partners, the overwhelming sentiment is negative, highlighting concerns about financial exploitation and inadequate customer support. Despite its established brand presence, the company struggles to address these critical issues, leading to a lack of trust and a recommendation to avoid the service.

Started off with@ 80 credits. On the first day got a few winks and messages. Started to communicate after a few back and forth messages. The females profile just vanished from the site. Said the profile can not be found. Others message you and send keys for private photos so you can see them. They tell you to message them back. When you do they dont repond. So you waste 9 credits every time you message a lady the first time. If you give your digits or email they dont respond. And what a surprise the profile vanishes from the site. And it tells you the profile cant be found. Look for other profiles and message them. This is so you use all of your tokens and have to buy more. Its just a wallet draining scam. On the site for six weeks. Not one hook up. No conversations worth anything, Bots city. Then there are the ones that say Hornybabe34 has chosen you. You have been chosen contact them. Well I got@ 30 of those. The funny thing is there is a section that shows you who clicked, read or looked at your profile. Because they would have to look at it to message you. To see if they were even interested. 90% of the messages I received from a so called horny woman. Never even looked at my profile. Hmmm? All I can do is warn you. Ashley Madison is a huge money sucking scam. Full of computer generated fake profiles and bots. Stay away.
I have been a member of AM for a few months and I have found most of it to be fake. Not only a blatant fake but a stupid one. The profiles of some women are ridiculous: 4' 5", 250 pounds. 6', 80 pounds. Just nonsense.
The object is to get you to buy credits. After you have used up all your credits with no responses, miraculously a woman has left you a message. Of course to retrieve the message you have to buy more credits.
Many of the women have photos which are obviously fake. The age or the body type don't fit. Not only that but many of the women are so attractive that they don't have to go on a dating site to find men.
If you're looking for a dating site to waste your time and money I suggest AM.
Became a member after much thought. Right out of the gate I was met by a scammer. Tried to reach out to Ashley Madison by phone and email... "0" communication or customer support. My money is GONE. Don't make the same mistake I did. RUN AWAY! FRAUD!
To call Ashley Madison a scam site is a nice way of saying it. I have been on it for 15 years with the same profile and I just got my AP address blocked for good without any reason for it. No one answers call or emails. No one ever will. They do not return money, don't even try. Do not believe positive reviews or reviews saying the customer service solved the problem, they are all fake. This site was breached in 2015 and everyone information was exposed to media. The privacy and security policies they offer don't work and they are not real. They do not follow the rules. So you can use this site if you want at your own risk. Good luck!
This site is a rip when it comes to a woman looking for a man. It suspends your account before you have time to even set it up. SMH rip
This site is absolutely loaded with fake profiles. I got bombed with messages from scammer after scammer with profiles saying they are from countries all over the world... yet ALL of them tell me they currently live in my city. Every one of them try to get my phone number, claiming that they want to text me pics. The site is designed to share pics, yet they ALL say they want to text them to me directly. When you push back, their entire profile will usually vanish within minutes. I don't even know how they make it disappear so fast, but it happened over and over. I'm guessing this garbage site is driven mostly by bots. Anyway, I've yet to talk to anyone that appeared to be a real person, so it was 100% a waste of money. I was charged $78 and in less than 12 hours, I have almost no credits left, because I burned them up talking to bots and/or scammers.
I'm not sure there are any real people on the site. And if there are any real people, and you're an older guy, you've got "0" shot of hooking up. Men, don't waste your money!
So many scammers its ridiculous. Only after a week and 150 bucks more frustrating than exciting. The site many bits, fake profiles and just as you think you found a match then profile is no longer around, I'm guessing belated because it's a scammer. This has turned in to more of a SB/SD site. Might just as well go there for real success. Navigating and loading pictures here is not the most friendly either. So many better sites out there... good luck
I have been on several dating apps, including Match, POF, and a few others. They are all bad in their own way, however, I have met women on all of them. I have been on AM for over a year and have had several affairs, however, the app is such a fraud. First off, more than half are fake profiles and/or looking for money. AM also has fake pics up and will entice users to use their credits. It is so obvious because the profile will have only one pic and when u select that profile and ask them to look at yours they send you a message which will cost u 5 credits. Do NOT ever spend your credits on these profiles they are fake. The people operating AM have no morals and their techs are norons. AM has had the same technical issues for months. This site is s joke.
I spent $50 on a gift card to send 4 messages. None of them were responded to. For the amount of money you spend on this site I would be expecting better results but it is a waste of time and money. They send you a message to bait you into sending a response but when you send a message and you have to pay for every message you send to initiate a conversation then you get radio silence. Also those profiles always seem to be on and the same people keep showing up. It seems expensive and a smoke screen.
Bought $70 worth of credits as a first purchase. Not a single connection made, pointless message exchanges with people on a site, half of wich probably are not even real.
$50, to join plus a $20 mobile charge so $70 just to start. Customer support does not respond to your questions or complaints. Fake profiles set up so you spend credits emailing and get no response, but within a few minutes a 20 to 30 yr old girl will message, wanting you to go to their Snapchat or asking for your email address, so they can come give you a massage, but you have to enter your credit card info first. Basically Ashley Madison is a escort/prostitution website. I'm a 52yrold retired Marine veteran, I wanted a casual relationship with someone my age, not going to happen here, so if you are older and want a young Hooker you will like Ashley Madison.
Seems like a rip-off. So many fake profiles that AM should be embarrassed. No responses from what I think are real people, so I may be wrong and they are fake. If they are fake, then AM stole my money and which is just pathetic.
It scam high priced they have 80 credits spent 50.00 July 2nd and I cud only sen 8 messages it ripp offi plan $#*! them up
I received close to 20 messages from almost identical profiles. In each case the message said what are you here for and let's exchange numbers. I am 83 and every one of these was from a woman under 30 most of whom were giving Europe or England if they're residents that's the conversation progressed everyone said that they were not working or living in my hometown which sometimes they identified and sometimes they didn't. All of them ask for a cell or text number and all of them talked about hooking up if I would register for a so-called safe dating site. There were so many that I cannot imagine actually Madison is not aware of this and perhaps complicit in this.
Actually Madison is always sending me suggestions that I contact a woman in her 20s or 30s. I have yet to see a legitimate message from a woman over 65. My guess is a majority of their profiles are phony
In addition when I went to respond to five more of the same type messages I was taken to an intercept website which said I had to pay $20 to upgrade my mobile capability. Obviously I have no intention of that kind of scam.
I started an Ashley Madison account that is free for women but they do charge men.
They took a whole day to "verify" my account yet I still couldn't respond to any of the men who sent me messages or winks. I sent a email asking why and my account was then blocked.
If you are a man don't waste your money! Real women like me are trying to connect with you but we get blocked by the company so they are just taking your money! I'll use another site thanks
On 1s Day and 20 Trolls messaged me with the same message. Computer Generated to rack up my charges? Scam in my opinion! Save you $$$$
So disappointed on a high price dating site. If you want to try it do not use your credit card, buy yourself a prepaid, you won't regret it as much. Good luck!
I Use it before I though it got better and it got worst first lot's of hookers and sugar babies and than you have women that ask you send a message to get you to use your credits and never answer back and there are no real women on this. Just a big waste of money.
My experience with AM. This website knows it has prostitutes working the site and does nothing about it.,.,...
Answer: Guys, it should not be so complicated to reach out to a girl for a hook up! You can find thousands of them on https://j4l.com/402007 They will contact you themselves, you don't have to put in any efforts if you want to have some fun time online. Or you just need to travel to them but it will be very rewarding, exciting and, what's essential, safe and SECRET experience!
Answer: Cops won't entrap you on AshleyMadison, they don't care. But you wife probably does. Often, she is worse than cops! Lol It's impossible to stay anonymous on AM - it's a well-known site. If you want to keep your affair secret, look for a safer platform, e.g. http://J4Love.net I had two affairs through their service. It was safe, private, unknown to the world and tremendously hot!
Answer: Kind of expensive because they charge by credits. There are cheaper solutions (vm, saphrina, some aff sites)...
Answer: Well, basically you purchase credits and you spend them every time you message someone...
Answer: This site is free for women, which i believe is a big problem. That is why many "professionals" join and try to make you join other sites, cam sites, etc. On sites like vm, saphrina, etc women usually pay as well which is good for the quality of the female profiles. But i guess if you are a woman you should rather join AM.
Answer: The question shouldn't be is it real, but is it worth it. If even one man/woman managed to have an actual affair through Ashley Madison, you could say that it's real. If for every 1 real affair/hookup there are 100's or 1000's of fake users to slog through all the while you're giving them your hard earned money... does that sound like it's worth it?
Answer: If it walks like a duck, and sounds like a duck what is it? Going to church has gotten people laid more than Ashley Madison.
Answer: Bill, this website is not owned by Ashley Madison. If you need to contact them you can call their toll free number 1-866-742-2218. Good luck!
