Ashley Madison Reviews Summary

The overall reputation of Ashley Madison is marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to the prevalence of fake profiles and perceived scams. Many users express frustration over the high costs associated with the platform, which they feel exploit their desire for genuine connections. While some customers report occasional success in meeting partners, the overwhelming sentiment is negative, highlighting concerns about financial exploitation and inadequate customer support. Despite its established brand presence, the company struggles to address these critical issues, leading to a lack of trust and a recommendation to avoid the service.

Been on a week. Had at least ten supposed ladies disappear in the middle of a conversation off the platform. Clearly there just to get me to spend my credits. Had at least another 5 lure me off the platform via WhatsApp or cell phone and try to get me to send pictures. Interestingly all 5 clearly didn't spoke English given their poor sentence structure.

Total waste of money and time. If there are real ladies on there.God knows where. Certainly not in the north east.

If I could give zero stars I would. Don't waste your money.

Almost no response from 80% of the women supposedly looking or interested. Because they are bots generated by the site. Don't waste your time and money.

As with most of these sites to many fake profiles
They have now introduced another payment if you request there photo
You will get lots of messages 'please send me a detailed message"
And yes you have to pay up
9 times out of 10 they don't reply and if they do you will only get one reply
Don't waste your $$$$

I was on AM several years ago and found it to be a lot of fun. I met wealthy, successful, married gentlemen who treated me very well. I enjoyed their company and their money. Each relationship lasted 2 to 3 months. If you're a lady who enjoys fine dining, shopping, casinos and travel then you'll be pleased with AM.

Ashley Madison may have been a great site at one point, but today, in 2023 it's one of the biggest dating scam sites on the internet. Based on my own experience and the research I've read, most of the female profiles on Ashley Madison are as fake as a $3 bill. There probably are a few legit profiles as their are with all personals and dating sites, but with AM there are tons of profiles that are only looking for Sugar Daddys, Cash Cows and yes, even Paid Encounters.

Oh how we dream of the days of Craigslist Personals. At least there, you could clearly identify the scammers and ho's, but with AM, men have to pay to contact women and if the person you contacted was a fake profile, scammer, prostitute or sugar baby, they will not reimburse you for the credits you spent contacting that person. And, they will hound you every time you log in to buy more credits. To say AM is beyond horrible is beyond a huge understatement. Stay away from it like you'd stay away from the plague. It's absolutely worthless.

Please come back Craigslist Personals!

99% of the female profiles are all fake, AM also takes money from you without permission, if you make a credit purchase you are without your knowledge agreeing to a monthly subscription, they are pure and utter cheats and have absolutely no integrity.

Paid $80 just to send a few messages to women only for it to go nowhere. Most didn't even bother responding even though it's free for women to message. I'm a good looking/fit guy in my mid 30's making over $100k a year, but most of these women who are at best 4-5's and probably with kids have the luxury to be extremely picky. The guy to girl ratio is probably 10-1, so even remotely attractive women receive 20 messages a day from mostly bozos. Not gonna pay another $80 to send messages to 5's and not even get a response. What a joke…

Paid for a service that only has con artists. Ashley Madison doesn't care about protecting customers. Then they have the nerve to forbid me from ever having an account with them...coming up with some lame excuse that I so called violated their terms of service without even explaining what term I so called violated. Save your money folks NOT WORTH it.

A money pit! AshleyMadison can't be trusted. Don't go anywhere near this scam! It's full of junk and fake profiles. Nothing ever happens there, you just go round and round in circles talking to bots and wasting your money. It is totally phony and fraudulent. Just search elsewhere!

Total fraud
May 24, 2023

80% of the profiles are scams/fake. I believe the company is engaging in fraud as they set up these fake profiles to entice the men to use their credits. The authorities should really look into the people responsible for managing this horrible scam of a site. Find something else to do with your money.

As usually is the case, women play for free while men pay. I dropped nearly $400 and didn't talk to a single non-scammer female. Ashley is as bad as the rest, but their scammers are quite sophisticated. I'm considered handsome by 95% of women, very toned, muscular but not beefy cuz slender, 6 pack, hung. I'm 52 and end up taking home a hot 22 yo occasionally when I'm out at raves. I should have pulled some dates. Out of state women favorite you - profile says they travel extensively for work - you message them with a three paragraph, classy, well-written response inviting them to reach out if coming to the area. Get back a one word response, "ok". Ashley is spose to be halfway legitimate. It's not. See photos of 18 year old women, with stated age of 45. No, not old photos. Scam. You get winks and favorited...so you will spend credits messaging. Never a response - except from scammers. Here is a clue guys - any time you get a phone number to text offsite, Google the area code. It will usually be from another state far away from where the member is supposed to be. Ask if you can call because you love to hear a voice. They will deny you because they are men. Call the number anyway and let it ring. A voice message will say " this voice text subscriber is not available" - telling you this is not a cell phone. You are chatting with someone on a PC or laptop...likely in Nigeria. Stay away from Ashley. If I couldn't get anywhere, you won't either.

One addition - the truly obese women might be legitimate. I didn't hit on them. 275 pound? One said 350. Ummmm...no.

Don't get scammed
April 11, 2023

Here again, don't waste your time or money. You sign up, browse and pic your favorites maybe wink at one or 5. You get automated replies thanking you for your interest but they only reply to full messages. If you do get to chat with someone they immediately want you to leave the platform. Why? They are trying to scam you. New women sign up, you message them you may get 1 response and they disappear. So many fake profiles also. You are better off going to a massage spa...

Stay Away Gents - Money Pit
March 26, 2023

Men have to purchase points to send messages to females. Problem is you have no idea which accounts are real people who actively login to their accounts and look at messages. Yes, there are scam/fake accounts, but their are also a ton of accounts that were at one point real people, but that are now inactive. You have to send a message to them (spend money) to find out. If they were serious about making this site effective, they would show a last-logged-in date. Without it, AM itself is a scam site. Glad I only purchased the smallest number of points possible.

As someone who has been on AM for 8-9 years I can say emphatically that 90-95% of women's profiles are totally fake. During those 8-9 years I think I have meet 3 or 4 real women. The rest seem to be a mix of (what I suspect is) profiles created by AM staffers to get men to send messages (for which you are charged). They may respond, but always with non-committal questions - just to keep you messaging and burning through the credits you are paying for. These all follow a standard format, they may or may not have a picture, and profile descriptions usually say something basic like "Just here to have fun," or alternatively, something a woman would never actually really say, like "Just 69 me." Use your head and you can see these are not real.

Others I think may be third-party individuals looking to scam users. They usually have more detailed greetings but use profile pics from catalog or Instagram models, and any man with a working brain knows a woman that gorgeous will NEVER be looking on AM, so don't waste your time there. I did follow with one once just out of curiosity, and he/she tried to sound friendly at first, but always claimed to be out of the country on business (but had family or a residence close to me) but was making money hand over fist with some relative's investing advice. Obviously trying to lead me on to sending money somewhere.

In short, don't waste your time. AM sucks (your money) while offering no real service in return.
