The overall reputation of Ashley Madison is marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to the prevalence of fake profiles and perceived scams. Many users express frustration over the high costs associated with the platform, which they feel exploit their desire for genuine connections. While some customers report occasional success in meeting partners, the overwhelming sentiment is negative, highlighting concerns about financial exploitation and inadequate customer support. Despite its established brand presence, the company struggles to address these critical issues, leading to a lack of trust and a recommendation to avoid the service.

I've been on several dating sites and made many friends. Scammers are numerous on all of them but manageable. But on Ashley Madison after six days every profile I approached or every profile I was approached by was scammers. I'm not say there were a lot of scammers, I'm saying they were ALL SCAMMERS. There was two that weren't normal scammers; they tried to blackmail me. Ashley Madison SUCKS. Don't even think of trying this $#*! hole of a dating site. The only reason I didn't give it a zero was because a one was the lowest score allowed.
The only girls I had contact with were scams. Asking for money after couple days they were all out of town. All of them claimed to be successful business owners of cosmetics and realty. They charge you everytime you send a new message. If you send as wink every girl sends auto response to send a message. And they will never reply. I don't think there is a real person there.
SCAM! SCAM! SCAM! When I first signed up I was getting so many attractive woman make me there favorite or wink at me so I decided to buy some credits to talk with them, 6 woman after having 1 message with them deleted there profile 2 woman tried to scam me for money 4 other woman asked for email and number all send me a couple messages and vanish and now after I have purchased credits a few times I look in my email and now I am getting zero winks or favorite's from woman DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY SCAM! SCAM! SCAM!
I got sick and tired of AshleyMadison drama queens and con artists. All they wanted was my money. All I wanted was no strings affair, a passionate woman looking for a hook up and good time. I have not come close to anything like that on AshleyMadison. The quality of service is very poor, most of the women are con artists, ready to tell you any kind of lie to get your money. Be wary of AshleyMadison!
I'm a legitimate woman who has been trying to sign up for an account since last week. I get an error message with each attempt saying that my account is suspended. When I inquire, I get an automatic email saying that I've violated the terms of the site. My question is how can I violate the terms when I've never been able to login? Men should beware as it's impossible for a woman to actually login!
Closed my AM account after a year. Never made connections, none that I can confirm were real. Wonder if they charge the women to be there. They send you bait messages to get you to try and reach out to people who never actually contacted you. The price for the membership is also absurd. They charge you to reply to each message, and again there is no confirmation that the person you're reaching out to is even real. I would rather do Fetlife or AdultFriendFinder. Again, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. Ashley Madison is a joke and shouldn't be considered a dating site.
Name is RAWBURU
This guy will go out of his way to reach out to women he know that is out of his league. Will get your phone number get you all excited to meet up and then at the last minute tell you that he knows that you're out of his league and he can't afford you. This man is a flake. Do not waste your time. Here is his number so you can block it *******551
Been a member of an on for 5 years. Nothing but scammers they pay women to get you to join and spend credits Do not waist you money. 15 this week all scammers and collet messages
The site tricks you into thinking you have messages. It will show an available message...But once you open the message, it's not an actual message from an actual person, It's an automated bot message encouraging you to message that person. So they trick you into spending $ to unlock what they present as a "message from a user ".
Complete scam and I'm requesting a full refund. You're better off using Tinder.
This site is a complete sham. I spent some time on this site and in that time I dealt with tons of bots, multiple attempts to scam me (asking for my number and such, come on now), and the final blow for me was a girl that I am certain was an escort (wants to be reimbursed for her room, cause she "travels" for work). We never actually met in person, she offered that up within a few responses. I never had one legitimate conversation. Luckily I got the lowest level of credits and spent no more. If you're looking for a good time, don't bother on Ashley Madison. I heard it was good several years ago, but it isn't good now. Total waste.
As a supposed free site for women, I found AM to be extremely scary! A lot of fake profiles and the ones that do reply want you to immediately jump off site and communicate, which I was uncomfortable with due to the fact that there was already a past data breach! The men were a lot more aggressive and just down right scary. Because I was more concerned with discretion rightfully so and did not post a photo, they removed my profile before I could even consider purchasing credits to communicate! Reviews for AM here on Site Jabber that doubt whether other reviewers are "real" only supports the lack of credibility of the site! Because everyone is allowed to state "THEIR" own experience without doubting someone else's review! Save your time and money and seek partnership the old fashioned way!
As a (real!) woman, I had my profile up up on AM for about 1 month recently. I met 8 men in person after weeding out several at least a hundred of profiles that had messaged me--I let the men initiate and message me 1st. I'm selective and only wanted to met men with my criteria of being fit, good looking, approx. My age, etc. So anyone who wrote a nice unique message to me I did respond to each saying thanks but I'm not interested. Yes, so shallow but that's AM. After a few messages on AM, I give each my email or they give me their emails (not to waste their expensive credit). After meeting each for a quick drink after work, either I felt the chemistry and we kissed as we ended our 1st meeting or they left on their own without anything more but a hug. I took down my profile as I've met a few that I'd like to continue on with. So no need to keep looking as it's draining and definitely time consuming to just go through messages and profiles. Oh note, early when I started my profile was flagged by AM as a possilble fake as it looked like someone (or many?) reported me as I didn't respond to them. One guy kept sending me like several, several messages going off on me as fake, etc. I was going to report him but he beat me to it! I had to prove I lived in my city and I actually sent them my drivers license. Yes I did. The feedback from the guys I've met are that they've met some other real women too on AM and had some luck so it's not all fake women's profiles. And all the guys I've met have real professional jobs, etc. so nothing weird.
What I'm about to tell you will save you countless hours of your time and money. Ashley Madison is a money pit, and when your paying for every messages you need to weed out the boys. So in the first comment to any women. Simple tell them to be sure I'm not talking to a bot please answer this one math problem what's 2plus2. The bot can not answer they have pre determined scripts to lure men in not answer even the simplest math problem. My advice don't use Ashley Madison at all if youve already got money in credit use this trick so you don't blow 50 or 100 buck talking to one bot before you catch on.
This is such a scam, i just don't know how they have the balls to steal peoples money like that!
This site is the worse of the worse in every way possible. So expensive and money goes so fast. Bunch of fake stuff. What a huge rip off. Stay far and clear. They should be ashamed of themselves.
It's amazing how when your credits get low or out women message or flirt at a higher rate! Very very few on this site are real women, attached and looking for sex. Financially this is the biggest ripoff of attached dating sites I've witnessed. You're far better off in a bar eye to eye.
This is a joke and it's on you. Scammers set up fake profiles and send you messages to get you to buy credits and make you waste them on BS fake accountsl Don't do it. This should be illegal.
This site is a complete rip off for men. I would highly recommend never using it. They send you fake messages to lure you into sending messages, which cost of ton of money. They default settings to make you send priority messages, which eat up your credits within a few messages. Never use this site. It's a complete and utter rip off. They are a bunch of thieves and I plan to dispute the charges on my credit card. I don't even want to give it one star That's how bad the site is….
I used this site some time ago and it was functional. My last experience was abysmal. Granted of course the there may just be a lack of interest, but no matter how much effort you put into contacting messages, the number of people that in response even look at a profile is close to zero, not counting obvious fakes (25 years old from japan being rely interested in you as a mid 40s old male in the US type stuff). After a while I noticed that the site blatantly misrepresents who is active on line. At 6 in the morning you may find 11 woman near by that were active in the last 48hours based on the search option, none are online. OK. Makes sense. If you switch to show anybody beyond the 48h limitation you get 86 members. Surprisingly, 53 of the additional 75 members that just popped up. Are also listed as currently online. In fact they are always listed online and never respond to any messages. They are aware of it, and do nothing about it. Why would they, it creates a pool of probably not even fake but long since inactive members that are presented as active by a a "glitch" in the app. Switched to friend finder x. Far better experience. I created a screen shot of the above issue with a more narrow range, but identical settings one minute apart, except I selected either "last 48h login" or "anytime. Results for the latter do not fit the screen and most are listed as "currently online".
When I started about 2 years ago. I gave it a 75 percent and now it is 20 percent. Too many fakes scammers and hackers. Many people are not located where they claim or bots. When you complain there is a problem with their system repeatedly!
Answer: Guys, it should not be so complicated to reach out to a girl for a hook up! You can find thousands of them on https://j4l.com/402007 They will contact you themselves, you don't have to put in any efforts if you want to have some fun time online. Or you just need to travel to them but it will be very rewarding, exciting and, what's essential, safe and SECRET experience!
Answer: Cops won't entrap you on AshleyMadison, they don't care. But you wife probably does. Often, she is worse than cops! Lol It's impossible to stay anonymous on AM - it's a well-known site. If you want to keep your affair secret, look for a safer platform, e.g. http://J4Love.net I had two affairs through their service. It was safe, private, unknown to the world and tremendously hot!
Answer: Kind of expensive because they charge by credits. There are cheaper solutions (vm, saphrina, some aff sites)...
Answer: Well, basically you purchase credits and you spend them every time you message someone...
Answer: This site is free for women, which i believe is a big problem. That is why many "professionals" join and try to make you join other sites, cam sites, etc. On sites like vm, saphrina, etc women usually pay as well which is good for the quality of the female profiles. But i guess if you are a woman you should rather join AM.
Answer: The question shouldn't be is it real, but is it worth it. If even one man/woman managed to have an actual affair through Ashley Madison, you could say that it's real. If for every 1 real affair/hookup there are 100's or 1000's of fake users to slog through all the while you're giving them your hard earned money... does that sound like it's worth it?
Answer: If it walks like a duck, and sounds like a duck what is it? Going to church has gotten people laid more than Ashley Madison.
Answer: Bill, this website is not owned by Ashley Madison. If you need to contact them you can call their toll free number 1-866-742-2218. Good luck!
