Very desappointed at my decision of joinning this stupid site... lost the money... and got contacted by fake profiles which some of them tried to guide me into another datting site and the others just made me waste my credits and no sex at all... that's right... NO SEX AT ALL... certanly the owner of the site is laughing his $#*! out cause he's earning every single penny of us men who use our $#*! heads to think... very desapointing...

Ok I just read some of the review (mostly men) I've been on AM since 2013 and I'm a Female, here is my view about AM men, yes I've heard lots of women's adds are fake there and guys are complaining about scam, which is not really nice of website, but GUYS do you know what is your problem not meeting anyone? When real women, whose looking for real relationship, not looking for SUGAR DADDY and begging you not to sent nude pics and you still do, when you see her pics and ignoring immediately just because she does not looks like a Victoria's Secret model or Barbie Doll, instead to be a GENTLEMEN and kindly say "I'm sorry you are not my type" no you are blocking her out. I can go on and on and on how you guys are acting there. So my suggestion as a WOMEN and REAL LADY, if you really are looking for human being and not a Runway Model, before you ask for heavenly perfection in women, take a good look in mirror and ask yourself question, ARE YOU PERFECT?

I wish there was a lower rating. This site is FULL of fake ads. I would be surprised if any women actually joined this site. Don't waste a dime on this crap. No truth to any of it whatsoever.

Is the site a scam? Yes. Is it real? Yes. AM will try to scam money off you, but there are very real women out there as well. I have joined twice each time for likely less than two weeks. It does have a slimy, loser vibe to it which is what turned me off. That said, I did meet women. In person. Both times.

Quick tips to anyone who wants to use the site:
Have a profile that makes you interesting (and skip the stupid check boxes)
Be articulate and confident in messages
Make sure you sound like you are fun (in life and bed)
And be honest

Think about it. She is out here because her husband is a dud and she is looking for a stud. And by stud I do not mean that you have a serious stiffy because it has been a long time since you have been laid. You need to be a stud in life. Master of your space. That space can be very small, but be confident of who you are in that space. Women dig confidence (not to be confused with arrogance or generally obtuse).

BTW, for people complaining about on going credit card charges - you gave AM your credit card numbers? WTF? Go get a prepaid debit card like any sane person.

I just signed up. Yup! I was stupid. Payed $50. And the emails of women wanting to hook up stoped. I was on the no membership status but was able to send winks and receive emails of women wanting to chat locally. Unfortunately, now I dont get anyone wanting to hook up. HMMM THIS COMPANY JUST WANTED To Get me toPAY $50. What a f#@! Ripp off.

It is a lot of work but hang in there. I do believe that AM places fake profiles online. A married women that places a public photo with a ridiculous mask over her face only to have a unique tattoo in the picture. Come on. Stay away from these types anyway. Either she is a fake or insanely dilutional. Stay away from single women too. Don't mess around with someone who has less to lose than you. Target the ones with no photos, public or private. They seem to respond better to messages probably because they don't get as many responses. You do have to make a girl smile when she reads your message. Figure out a good boiler plate message and fire bomb at least 10. If you are awkward with women, you will have a tougher time. Things are done backwards online. You have to communicate through messages, then hopefully text or phone call and if you pass that then you get to meet them. I have had good success with women once face to face. Getting to that point with AM is difficult. That's the trick here. Learn to effectively get them to meet you then you have a good chance. If you are not skilled at finessing that, either spend the money and learn from your mistakes and get better at it or keep the money in your pocket and hit the bars. If you aren't good at that either, you're dreaming either way.

It's a rip off. Wanna date-find something else but Ashley Madison. Even if You wanna close an account with them,-You'll end up paying a fee! Suckers, suckers and suckers!

This site is such a ripoff. There are so many fake profiles that they manufacture and try to get you to write to them (and use up your expensive credits - initially 100 for $50 - and this does not last long either). The responses are very similar "sorry, i don't have time to respond to winks, why don't you send a full message?" so that its obvious that one lazy ashley madison intern is writing all these. Stay away from this site. Stick with the free ones.

You men that need to use a site like this to cheat on your wife are a bunch of disgusting pathetic a$$holes who probably have tiny $#*!s. This is so disgusting and I hope you all catch a bunch of sexually transmitted diseases. Oh... and I hope your wife finds out and takes you for all you have too. :)

Fake profiles, fake profiles, and more fake profiles. Anyone giving this site a five-star rating is probably a fake reviewer hired by the company. Don't get suckered in, steer clear.

Its not easy. It does take a certain amount of tact, humor and smarts to stand out and get notices but i've had no problem meeting women, building great friendships and having great sex. There are hot smart funny women that are real. Again, just takes patientence and at least a modicum of intelligence and charm to get their attention. There are 10 dudes for every woman. Luckily most of the guys set the bar pretty low. Avoid single women on the site. Also, you only get charged credits for the first message. Not the follow ups. Just remember to unchecked the priority message back. I regularly get immediate responses on nonpriority messages. Its not true that they are delayed 12 hours. I think most of these reviews are from bitter dudes that just suck at online dating. It is a different skill, especially on AM.

AM is a complete scam. This is cleverly designed to make sure you spend at least $50-100 before they actually let you connect with real people. Its is vey well done (these guys are smart but totally unethical) to take your money. Most profiles are fake and run by employees just to get you to email them to spend credits. You will be very lucky to find a real woman looking to hook-up in the first few weeks on the site. I closely observed 3-4 'favorites' I had in my list and they were obviously fake, since they were on the site almost 24/7 and no real person would do that (its just different employees using the same account to keep threads going). The email conversations with them go nowhere. When a 'real' woman interested in you does contact you it is easy to tell since they have something interesting to say (the fake ones will ask stupid questions like "are you on your computer now" looking for you to reply to burn credits or burn chat time. Every email you send costs money, even replies to an existing thread. Another tactic they use is to delay email responses for about 12 hours unless you pay for the 'priority man' feature. Again, very clever anxiety driving tactic they design in. I also noticed once that mail I sent to a person never got delivered and also never was shown in my 'sent' box (this was verified since that person was real and replied to a subsequent note). Also if you delete your profile it costs $19 (deactivating $0 but then you are on the site forever). If you spend the big bucks for their $250 affair guarantee, watch out. They claim money back if you dont score, but if you attempt to claim it, they send a physical check to your home address (knowing full well that any attached man would never do that). You are better off taking $100-200 and lighting it on fire in the driveway. Marketing geniuses... complete scroundrels very good at taking your money. I eventually did meet women but not until hititng the ~$100 threshold. Gee, then the fake women have been figured out and ignored and my search results just kept getting better. Amazing how that works. All by design. (I design software for a living)

I've been on AM off & on for about 5 years now, met about 12 women and had amazing sex with 7. One woman actually turned into a very hot 2 year relationship but I have fond memories of every gal. Frankly this is the ONLY site I know of where you can find women willing to hook up with a married man. My wife and I have an open relationship, she can find willing men on any site but I was either shunned or got hate mail from the women. AM is totally accepting. I'm very patient and somewhat picky but if you're open to plus size women or young women who want a sugar daddy I think you'd have more success. I have one little gal right now who just wants me to buy her stuff but I think it'll become more soon. As far as fakes go, I do believe there are a lot. I've lost a lot of money from "women" who ask me to message them then disappear from the site, perhaps AM trying to rake in extra cash, I don't know. If anyone knows any other sites that are as Married-man friendly, please let me know.

Guys, there are millions of men and much fewer women on this site, so ALOT of competition from other men. If you are a man, before spending any money on this site, create a fake profile as a woman. They don't charge women any money, so it's free. Make sure to put in attractive stats (5'8" tall, 115 lbs - you get it). You don't even need a pic, but if you can find and include a nice looking one, it will help. Then see the hundreds of messages from men you will get. Look at some of their profiles and pics. That's what you'll be competing against. If you think you can compete, then spend your money and go for it. If not, find another way (NOT the internet) to meet someone. Good luck!

Bought the basic package and had mixed results. Contacted a number of women and for the most part didn't even get a reply or got a reply and then after endless chatting and excuses never did meet. Obviously fake profiles. Did however get laid by one lady and hooked up with a couple. The husband watched while I did his wife for about 2 hours, who btw was quite attractive. Final opinion... there are easier and less time consuming ways to get laid.
