The overall reputation of Ashley Madison is marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to the prevalence of fake profiles and perceived scams. Many users express frustration over the high costs associated with the platform, which they feel exploit their desire for genuine connections. While some customers report occasional success in meeting partners, the overwhelming sentiment is negative, highlighting concerns about financial exploitation and inadequate customer support. Despite its established brand presence, the company struggles to address these critical issues, leading to a lack of trust and a recommendation to avoid the service.

The site is plain and simply a high-priced scam! You will do better walking around a grocery store or the local mall. After attempting to contact a number of eligible ladies and personally not being hard on the eyes at all, professional and fairly well off, I got no replies that were either logical or rational. The couple I got were from gold diggers or hookers.
Upon cancelling my membership, I was informed there was an additional "fee" to have my data "fully removed" from the site. These crooks therefore get you coming and going. All they care about is picking your pocket.
Pitiful rip-off. This outfit is a bunch of liars and should be prosecuted. Don't waste your time, your treasure or your dignity.
Waste of time and money. As a guy u HAVE to be a paying member to have any success at all. Initially an ashleybot will mess with u - there are tons. Usually the too good to be true are a clue to the fakes. Plenty of young gold diggers looking g for sugar daddies. Plenty of crazies and i appealing women. Some good ones but usually have high standards- which wasnt a problem for me. Plenty of swingers on here too.
Havent met one couple.
As of yet. Last credit was used to read a lame msg from a lady with a fake pic. Since i was out of credits, i could not respond without paying for another round of bs. This is total scam my methods.
Let's face it, the dbag lawyer who owns the site knows its crap and has to rip people off in order to keep his gravy boat flowing. Plenty of other sites that are more affordable and better results. MadAsh is at the bottom of the list and is relying on press and suckers and imo deceptive and unreasonable business tactics

You sound like a nagging, bitter, harpy. No wonder your husband cheated on you.
I hope you lie awake at night wondering, if only for a fraction of a second that maybe it was you. Maybe you couldn't keep him satisfied and that's why he went into the arms of another. Maybe you were boring in bed.
The holidays are coming up and I hope and pray it's your children's first Christmas without
Their father. I hope this is your first Christmas as a single mom. I hope you enjoy raising them alone knowing your chances of finding someone willing to shoulder the burden of another man's kids will probably mean that you'll die alone and unloved.
That being said Ashley Madison is a total scam. Anyone here telling how they found someone and had an amazing time is either lying or just lucky. Micro-currency instead of a monthly subscription was enough to make me never pay. Just lurk in your free status for a week and you'll see how bogus the site is.
AshleyMadison is not bad at all. However, you need to invest sometime and can't expect to find other cheaters within 24hrs. However, I was more lucky on Saphrina. But still, Asleymadison is not all bad.
I simply would like to see owners and lawyers of Assley Madisin in orange jumpsuits kneeling with ISIL and a machete. Put them and this site out of their scamming misery. They will have their judgement day ripping people off like they do. Sorry that I won't be meeting them in hell!
This is a ripoff. No one ever replies to you. You'd think that these women are looking for the same thing we are, but they never reply. A lot of times, a girl sends you a message, you pay to read it and all they say is hi. Thats it.
After spending all my inital credits and have 1 (one) legit reply, they automatically billed me for 79€.
After I complained, they refunded me and guess what? 4 spectacular ladies immediately wnated to start conversation and opened up their photos. The same ladies that never replied me in the first place. And... Her face is uncovered and photos are sexually explicit. Why would married women do this?
This is a scam. I believe you could eventually score someday, but you'd have to fight through the fakes, and lose a lot of money in the process.
DO NOT use this website.
I think it's a scam. Many of the women that are posted are phony Ashley tries to get you to pay more to have a relationship with a digital person!
Scam site! I'm sure the North American site is different. Some of the girls on the site work for Ashley Madison (Hong Kong) and are paid to talk to you. There's some real people but most are bots. Beware!
Also, even though I told them to cancel my subscription. They still billed me. They set a terrible reputation for a.m.
Mainly fake / zombie female profiles or women paid to entice men to contact them (for which men pay $$$). Some females are escorts, and many others are just there to tease. Met (and had sex with) one genuine woman from >60 messages (by a complete fluke, although she was 2" taller [which meant that she was 6' tall rather than the 5'10" that I was expecting] and 5 years older than stated on her profile!). Even with the fake female profiles, profiles of actual men must outnumber profiles of women (fake, zombie or otherwise) by ten to one or similar.
As with other sites, lots of women seemingly just want to exchange adult chat with men without ever meeting them.
There also seem to be a number of scammers using the site as periodically I would receive messages from people puporting to be genuine users attempting to encourage me to sign up and register with alternative sites. As somebody else has mentioned, profiles that look too good to be true always are.
Update: I have continued using the site until my credits ran out. Wow. The last woman that I almost met arranged to meet me, asked that we should both turn off our profiles (I obliged), but then in one of the weekly emails showing photos of new members, I see her profile photo with a different username. Probably pretty obvious with hindsight, but it seems that some women using affairs sites cheat not only on their husband but also on guys that they are having affairs with. I later discovered that this person actually had three profiles. It seems to be common for women to have multiple profiles as they cost nothing for women to set up. So guys, be prepared to share, even if your lover will never admit it.
Ashley Madison is real. I've been on the site for about four years and have met up with and had sex with over 8 women. It's a very slow and patient process. In addition, I'm mid 30's, in great shape, and picky. I'd say about a third of the attractive women are either fake profiles trying to get your email address. Another third are escorts or sugar babies. Fact of the matter is that the deck is stacked against you. However, when you are able to meet up with someone, it can be incredible. Keep the distances short as scheduling is a real challenge. Also, you have to remember the ratio of men to women. As a test, I have created a fake woman profile and gotten bombarded by men. For those folks complaining, take a look in the mirror and learn how to write some good copy. Women can get away with $#*!ty one sentence messages but men have to articulate. The numbers are against you.
I have found this site to be very misleading, it delivers nothing that it promotes and I implore upon you, do not put one cent into this hoax. I believe the responses from the images I have instigated contact with are not from these so called women looking for men! The replies are responses that always require credits ($$) to be used to open and the responses are nothing, every time. I believe this website is such a bull$#*! scam I'm amazed they have not been shut down. Who ever set this up are conning me and are stealing my money. They are thieving low life's.
This website is a scam. Most of the girls on this site are either fake. The rest of them are either some guy in some 3rd world country who's there to try and get you to enter a your credit card on a fake website and will steal your info, the other percentage of girls are whores who should be on craigslist and not this site. The rest if they are real, get so many messages that you won't get a response. This website is a scam. When you first sign up. You will get lots of messages from people who are only there to try and get you to sign up. Believe me. This site is a scam, they will rip you off and keep you wanting more cause you don't get anything.
I recommend all of you goto AM's facebook page and post your stories about how FAKE their site is. Help stop them from scamming more people.

Wish I had researched the review about Ashley Madison before signing up. The site is a total ripoff. Don't waste your time or money.
OMG! I just signed up and in less than a week has turned in to a horror story! The site is crawling with totally fake ads, or real ones from prostitutes! I don't mind spending the money, but EVERYTHING is a freaking scam on this website!
I have been on AM for about two years with great results. Yes, it initially costs $, but there are ways to game the system (I hope the AM admins don't read this). First, it is important to be aware that you don't use any credits communicating with a woman if she contacts YOU FIRST. I have met dozens of women through the site (only a small fraction in person, by my choice). Thus, guys, get them to contact you. To do this simply enter your search criteria, keeping it broad, and then click on the first profile that comes up. Then navigate through the search results by clicking the tab on the right of the yellow bar almost half-way down the page labeled "next." Literally go to each profile - you don't need to read it in any detail, when it pops up click next again until you have "viewed" every profile meeting your criteria. Often it only takes 10-15 minutes. The women you have viewed will see this on their profiles. Now, sit back and let them make the first contact and you can correspond with them scott-free (the bonus is the fakes won't contact you). You can repeat this as often as you like, but now you communicate with only the ones you like and it won't cost you a dime.
Complete crap guys, don't go there. You'll find very few genuine people, mostly scams and fake profiles set-up to lead you to alternate sites, also owned by AM. Serious waste of time and money, this sight is $#*!e!
This site is not what is says it is. Ladies contact you and never respond to replies. Full of fake ladies and fake profiles.
I am a female and I joined AM, but I only stayed on it for less than 6 days. It wasn't what I thought it would be at all. Most of the guys on there come across as obsessed with sex and are very heavily into kinky, swinging etc. They have particular appetites which to be honest if your not into that it's not your site. I saw it as really being an M & S site but masquerading as an Affair site. Also some guys sent me pictures of them either naked or performing sex acts on a partner - they haven't even started a conversation and that is what you receive needless to say I never responded to those guys. This will put/scare most women off. One guy that I did email confirmed that there are a lot of weirdos on the site. This is the reason why I removed myself from it. I know realise why women are now free don't stay on long enough.
Found out my husband was on this site and it destroyed my marriage (second time he had been caught after a long road to forgiveness the first time!). By extension, it destroyed our children's lives. Now I come on her and see all you pathetic bastards whining about how you are getting ripped off and it's all a scam. Karmic retribution at its' best! Suffer! Reading your reviews provided me with a much-needed laugh :)
Answer: Guys, it should not be so complicated to reach out to a girl for a hook up! You can find thousands of them on https://j4l.com/402007 They will contact you themselves, you don't have to put in any efforts if you want to have some fun time online. Or you just need to travel to them but it will be very rewarding, exciting and, what's essential, safe and SECRET experience!
Answer: Cops won't entrap you on AshleyMadison, they don't care. But you wife probably does. Often, she is worse than cops! Lol It's impossible to stay anonymous on AM - it's a well-known site. If you want to keep your affair secret, look for a safer platform, e.g. http://J4Love.net I had two affairs through their service. It was safe, private, unknown to the world and tremendously hot!
Answer: Kind of expensive because they charge by credits. There are cheaper solutions (vm, saphrina, some aff sites)...
Answer: Well, basically you purchase credits and you spend them every time you message someone...
Answer: This site is free for women, which i believe is a big problem. That is why many "professionals" join and try to make you join other sites, cam sites, etc. On sites like vm, saphrina, etc women usually pay as well which is good for the quality of the female profiles. But i guess if you are a woman you should rather join AM.
Answer: The question shouldn't be is it real, but is it worth it. If even one man/woman managed to have an actual affair through Ashley Madison, you could say that it's real. If for every 1 real affair/hookup there are 100's or 1000's of fake users to slog through all the while you're giving them your hard earned money... does that sound like it's worth it?
Answer: If it walks like a duck, and sounds like a duck what is it? Going to church has gotten people laid more than Ashley Madison.
Answer: Bill, this website is not owned by Ashley Madison. If you need to contact them you can call their toll free number 1-866-742-2218. Good luck!
