It is very unusual to encounter an excellent sales person and have a good experience but I did with Angie Palmero at the Huntsville AL store. Not only is she polite but she is well dressed and well spoken. She knows what she is talking about and seriously listened to me about what I wanted. She is to be congratulated on her overall demeanor and professional nature. We found exactly what I was looking for.

Run! Horrible ripoff artists!
December 4, 2022

Don't walk... run! They have new ownership and they are HORRIBLE now. I am still owed $2,500 from months ago when they tried to deliver HALF of a bed. I cancelled the order and they won't give me my money back. Do NOT get mixed up with these scammers!

Liars and thiefs
December 2, 2022

Took my money, lied 3x on the pick up date, contacted the floor manager Amber Crooks from who we purchased it from and was ignored till the following day. Was told 2x that we could have a full refund within 72 hrs of receiving the furniture then when I contacted the company was told there's a no refund policy and that nobody in the corporate office has the ability to refund any money. This was all bought at the homestore in Springfield, MO from floor manager Ashley Crooks. Do not believe any of the lies that they tell you! They just want your money then deliver junk with holes and rips in it and expect you to make due till their response team has time to address the situation at their convience. I will NEVER recommend or refer ANYONE to Ashley's Homestore ever!

Worst experience ever
December 2, 2022

I received from Ashley two broken nightstands. I contacted them for the return, and they said that I was responsible for the return shipping cost. I was furious because why did I have to pay for someone's mistake? Customer service was VERY POOR, I had to email many times to Tina Kebeck (Ashley's representative) to get some answer and resolution. They returned the money and said that I can dispose of them, for which I had to order special garbage service pick up because my local service doesn't take furniture. I had a lot of headaches with them and waited almost two weeks to figure out what to do. They just sent a "headache" that I should take care of. They don't want to take responsibility for what they do. I would never order anything from Ashley again and won't recommend anybody.

Stay away from the warranty
December 2, 2022

Long story short called in Feb because my couch cushion are worthless, told me the in order to do anything they have to give me order num, well then they called me and said that the cushions wasn't covered,so I called back today a few years later might I add, they told me I forfitted my protection money,I said hold up I didn't use it because you told me it doesn't cover these cheap made cushion,he then preceded to tell me because I made a claim, and even thought the claim was denied, they still take that protection money, unless your calling to change your phone number or address,it's over, because asking a question about your furniture there going to tell you,you have to have a claim number, which if your claim is denied you still forfitte your money,be ware this sound so much against the law, that I will be contacting consumer affairs,I can't image how many people that get on like this,I bought this in 2020 and and it's now 2022, stay away from that cheap made crap, and the warranty is not a warranty,,i give there warranty a big fat F.if you try to use the warranty just for a claim to be denied they will in fact take your protection money,

Lied about delivering my couch
November 29, 2022

I was called twice and texted once this past Friday that my couch would be delivered the following day, Saturday. Saturday arrived and I had to call twice (got hung up on the first time) only to find out my couch *might be* on back order. I got a text today (Tuesday) that there's still no ETA on my couch, so I have an uncomfortable chair in my living room and unable to schedule a much needed dentist appointment and oil change on any upcoming Saturdays for fear of missing the opportunity to finally get my couch. Unprofessional. Unreliable. Also, this site is not letting me upload my proof of purchase...

Overcharged by 3 times!
November 27, 2022

I bought a couch yesterday in West Jordan Utah. The salesman was great and easy to work with. However, when paying for the taxes and delivery fee (just over $400) the Manager pointed out that I was charged twice. The lady at the counter in charge of opening an account for me was told to refund it. I got home and by 9:00 pm that night I was called and told that she charged me again! At this point I was over charged by $800! I wasn't able to get to the store timely that night so I said I would go the following day. I showed up today and some gentleman was training the same girl and said he will refund it. After they submitted the refund I was notified it will take 3-5 business days to get back into my account. This was horrible customer service, the lady that overcharged me didn't even say a word, the gentleman couldn't even look up from the computer and nothing was offered for triple charging me at this point. I will not be going back to this store with the lack of customer service and regard for charging me that night over $1,200.

Black Friday Commercial

I was a little disturbed, it shows a black guy at the dinner table with an Asian family then it goes on to say "you've been waiting all year for Black Friday " seems a little racist.

Couch=garbagex2
November 26, 2022

We purchased a signature electric couch made by Ashley. Within a month the seat started sagging, Both sides of the couch squeaked terribly when adjusting it with the electric controls. The store where we bought it brought us a new couch and the exact same thing happened. We paid almost $1500 for this couch and the quality was horrible. I would NOT recommend Ashley furniture!

Scammer, no help
November 25, 2022

If I could give 0 stars I would. I have never been so ignored in my life. Ordered dressers for my first home has been a nightmare. I did so much research before purchasing, however didn't end up on the correct side of review I guess! If I were to have known so many people had issues, I would have never bought. My main issue with Ashley furniture is the neglect that comes with them. I have spoken to 6 different people now, who just answer and hang up on you it's a no from me. Never again. Do not recommend. 0 stars

Poor Quality and misleading warranty
November 22, 2022

We purchased a sofa that is of the worst quality. The foam did not hold up and fabric stretched and pilled looking years old after only months. Attempts for refund or replacement were denied. The company simply replaced the foam in 2 cushions only to be wore the same in a few months.
This is the poorest quality furniture, does not wear well with a warranty that leads you to believe different.
I would never trust Ashley Furniture again.

Buyers Please Beware
November 18, 2022

Ashley Your customer care called me back only to tell me that I need to speak directly to the store as they have no capacity of resolving issues. I called the store again, and was told that the District manager Rohit is refusing to do anything. Spoke to a Dan at the Ashley North who was very unapologetic, confrontational and rude. He also said that he doesn't care what is posted on social media, and that customer reviews don't mean much. When I was paying cash for my purchase why didn't he tell me that customers don't mean anything? The lack of customer service is huge reflection of the junky overpriced products. What a circus. Such a run around. Please see pictures attached and advise how acceptable this is? I was initially sent no box springs, then I was sent over sized ones and then finally sent these that clearly are not a match. But yet Ashley refuses to accommodate a customer who has been inconvenienced. Seems like ethics are nonexistent here, within 48 hours, I connected with the store, advising I want this all returned, mattresses, bed frame, mattress pad and pillow, was told that I would hear back within the next few hours, those few hours turned into days, had I not called and called repeatedly I wouldn't have heard back from anyone. Why say that an issue will be rectified? When in fact it's being dismissed and ignored. I have better things to do than waste my time. I'm now seeing soooo many other customer reviews that are similar if not exactly the same as mine, it's appalling that this is ok. Perhaps a complaint to consumer services, it's a shame, buyers be aware.

In store sales
November 18, 2022

I've purchased a new recliner a week ago and waiting for delivery. They told me 2-5 weeks due to the ongoing help shortages and continuing other shortages and/or delays. I'm cool with that as EVERYONE in the country is experiencing these problems.
So my review isn't on the product but my in-store experience.
Location Staunton, VA
I went in store planning to look and sit in different styles of chairs. I was looking for a chair with ottoman to replace the one I have had for at least 15 yrs. Refurbishment on it was a thought but with todays type of " help" businesses are facing, hiring whoever they can hoping they will work out, I nixed that plan. So I decided to start shopping.
I walked into the Staunton store, greeted at the door by a polite young man, Brett Dodson, who ask how can I help you? Told him what I wanted and he was ready to show me chairs. I asked if I could just wander and sit in them. He said absolutely, just let him know if he could help. I wandered and looked and sat. Did not want a recliner but…. One caught my eye and I sat in the cozy chair. I then walked away and looked at other chairs/ottomans but kept thinking about the recliner. Brett caught up with me and I told him I found a recliner that might be it. He did show me others and sitting in them wasn't what I wanted, went back and sat again, cozy. It was a complete impulse buy. Supposedly made in US, we'll see. I also bought with this thought in mind, NOTHING you buy in this day and age is meant to last. I hope my chair holds up but I don't expect the life expectancy of the quality of furniture made in the past. Everything is technically, what my appliance repair guy told me some years ago, it's not meant to last or be economical to fix, it's the throw away/buy new generation of products. With that in mind, I hope all is well with this recliner, I hope it holds up for at least 10 years, I hope for world peace lol! I will check it over carefully when delivered with the delivery folks present. Checking the workmanship and working parts. I pray for no issues but in this new world of slap together and no pride in workmanship, it's a crap shoot in anything you buy. Just praying I hit the jackpot.
I notice many bad reviews are for online orders, you buy site unseen you get what you get.
Maybe I'll write a review after my chair comes but I doubt it. Life, products and service are what you make it. Kindness and patience go a long way, poor workmanship is the new normal, unfortunately. Hopefully I chose well.
Thanks for you help Brett Dotson, fingers crossed. It won't be because of you if not a great chair, you sell what you hope is a quality product.;)

Empty Living Room
November 14, 2022

In short - our sectional was never delivered when promised (even though their website and my confirmation emails and their customer service chat said it would be yesterday). When we reached out, they said it's scheduled delivery for January! We were never notified of any changes, and their website still reflected our expected delivery date. We had just gotten rid of our old furniture, so now we have an empty living room. They moved us up to the end of the month now, but we still have two weeks to go with no couch. It took a half hour phone call just for them to admit they screwed up - and they did absolutely nothing to rectify the situation aside from offering to cancel the order if we found something at our local store - which we did not. They didn't seem to care about their screw up at all. Do yourself a favor and NEVER order anything from Ashley. Horrible screw up and nobody honestly seems to care - their service is terrible.

Buyer's beware!
November 14, 2022

Horrible experience. Paid over 6k on a bedroom set. It took months to receive the original ordered furniture and we refused the damaged pieces upon delivery. We expected to receive new replacement furniture. They tried to pull a fast one on us by bringing us back the same furniture we originally refused, as they tried repairing and returning the damaged furniture to us. Thankfully I noted and took pictures and was able to identify their trickery. After 9 months, we finally got two pieces replaced. At this point I don't care about the rest of the bedroom set they promised to replace. It is very poor quality furniture for that money. We're done and won't be back. I hope this will give someone reading these reviews food for thought before going in and buying anything from Ashley furniture in Holland Ohio.

DON'T SHOP AT ASHLEY HOME STORE!
November 13, 2022

I ordered an L-shaped couch in December 2021 and they still are yet to get my order right. Delivery was attempted after all this time only to have the arm damaged and back to square one. No attempts from customer service to do anything to remedy this. I've been to their store on 82nd Ave in Portland twice begging for help or a refund only to get the run around with still no resolution. When I asked to talk to the manager they said he's busy. Quite frankly avoiding doing anything to help a customer that has paid over $4K. Next month it will be a year! DO NOT SHOP AT ASHLEY ITS ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!

Think before you buy from Ashley Furniture
November 10, 2022

The most important thing to remember when purchasing furniture from Ashley is that as soon as you hand them your check or credit card, you have no recourse and they will not work with you to find a solution to any problems you might have with your purchase. No refunds, no recourse, no response from the company. I purchased a sleeper sofa that is really just a piece of junk. No satisfaction. They just keep repeating "no refunds". I asked for an exchange and they said they only thing they can do is order the exact same couch that I already have. It's only been in my living room for 11 months and nine of those months we weren't even in the house. I'm 67 years old and I'm not jumping on the couch but it looks like it is 20 years old and creaks every time in sit on it. I feel kind of bad that I donated it to charity. My suggestion is to spend just a little bit more and buy a beautiful couch made in America by JOYBIRD. They back their products unconditionally.
