The Rep really listened to what I needed for my parents. She helped to set up the tours and answered all of my questions or got answers for me. I would recommend this service, and I already have, to anyone!

A Place For Mom was so helpful in finding the right Assisted Living for my Dad! They contacted me right after the hospital social worker reached out to them. After hearing my Dad's needs, they had several wonder assisted living facilities contact me. Joanne from A Place For Mom routinely checked in with me about my progress. It really made me feel like I wasn't alone in this scary new part of life.

I cannot put into words how great this service was. A Place for Mom really helped with with finding a place and recommending services for my mom.

I did not use APFM recommendation as I had already located the facility that was mentioned. It was very helpful to learn on nearby places that were available. The newsletters are also very informative.

It's a difficult period for anybody to have to look into this, but A Place For Mom makes it possible to navigate and they provide so many options and feedback and help. I also enjoyed their newsletters and articles that they would send on different subjects… it helps you feel you don't have to do this alone, or without expert support.

I was promptly set up with a local counselor who started off by arranging 4 places in my Dad's price range and local area. All 4 places were absolutely acceptable. We chose the best fit for him and were able to get him moved in in a timely manner. If I had to do all the research myself it would have been a daunting task to say the least. I am extremely grateful for their service and will absolutely recommend them to anybody.

Working with A Place For Mom was a very pleasant experience. I contacted this resource over a year ago when I started to consider an assisted living community for my dad. At that time my senior advisor was very helpful in finding out information on assisted living communities and provided me with referrals for me to check out both solo and with my dad.
It turned out that we did not move forward with an assisted living community for my dad as my dad did not feel he was ready and it was agreed he could continue to live independently. A year passed and my father declined such that we felt necessary to resurrect an assisted living community for my dad. My senior advisor changed. This said it was an equally pleasant experience in working with a senior advisor. We now have successfully identified a very nice assisted living community for my dad which he likes very much. The plan is for my dad to move in later this month.

After my initial request, I received a phone call and email within 5 minutes. Mary inquired about relationship of person to be placed, financial and location concerns, and emotional/physical/medical requirements. I was provided with 6 sites to tour. Mary made some of the initial contacts with scheduled appointments. Mary received feedback from me after each visit. I appreciated the emails and phone calls I received from Mary to educate me about timing of placement, having conversations with mom in preparation for placement, sources for financial assistance, and other information beneficial for future planning. I am pleased with the facility I selected and my mother has transitioned to assisted living.

Kelly was a partner throughout, helping keep me on track even when i felt lost and overburdened. She directed me to several very good providers near me, and helped me adjust as my parents needs shifted and changed.

I was very impressed with the professionalism and tenacity. I was in a confused state, sister in hospital, needed a place for her and with A Place For Mom's guidance and support I found a wonderful place for my sister.

Senior Advisor Chris Datiche was very helpful in finding a great place for mom's final years.
He was very professional, caring, listened to our family needs, and offered important suggestions that made our decisions easier. He found us several great locations in our preferred area and within our family budget. Thanks.

The senior independent residence that was recommended, was beyond my expectations in terms of friendly warm atmosphere lots of amenities and most of all, affordability beyond what I expected!

Called in the spring. Wanted placement by late October. Viewed a total of five memory care facilities. All were very good. Kathaleen fitted our needs the best.

APFM proved a spectrum of facilities for cost & services. They provided a review list for facilities ensuring a was prepared for each visit review. APFM contacted facility directors about my situation.

Sharon was so helpful in finding a place for my sister. She found us 3 facilities to look at and we found hopefully the perfect one. She called and checked on how things was going several times and it really felt like she cared about us and wanted to find the perfect spot for my sister, almost like she was part of the family. Thank you so much for all your help and support in the process, especially since I was 8 hours away. She was certainly my eyes in this move. I would recommend a place for mom to anyone needing help finding a good place for their family member.

I need to urgently find a place that takes pets for my mom. A place for mom provided connections and I was able your start touring facilities quickly.

Very helpful in finding the right place for my aunt to live and also with follow up questions that came up as the process went along.
