I flew from Texas to Michigan to visit my mom and realized we'd need to start exploring options for her to leave her single family house. That Saturday night I got on the website of APFM, expecting an email in a couple days. Thirty minutes later I was on the phone providing information that permitted my new best friends to generate a list of 8 apartment complexes that met our criteria. Seven of the 8 answered my emails within 2 days and we visited 7 of them in a 5 day period. My mom moved 5 months later.

Michelle is an amazing in two ways 1.Her sensitivity for a persons need during a very hard time.2.Her knowledge of all the things having to do with trying to get placement for your loved one.Michelle Davey is just a very nice and caring lady.

My mom got sick suddenly and had to come and live with me. I was feeling very overwhelmed and didn't know who to turn to for help. One call to A Place for Mom and I had a Senior Advisor immediately who got someone to my home the same day to assist me with getting respite care set up.

I first used a place for mom about four years ago. Recently, when I reached out to them, I was very disappointed. I cannot give them one star.
I was assigned an agent who hadn't even contacted me yet, and all of my personal information was shared with all of the assisted living places around the area that my mom might go to.
I cannot recommend A Place For mom anymore.

I was assigned Angie to help me find a place for my mom. I was sent several places to review and tours was set up. Angie called after tours to see if we liked the place. She even called daily to check how things were going with my mom, paperwork, and the doctors. I am so happy to have had her. She stayed in touch throughout the entire process.

Provided good information. Very helpful. Many calls from facilities outside the geographic area.

We were looking for an assisted living for our parents and the representative Adam was very helpful in setting up tours and contacting me to see how things were going.

Natalie is such a special person, she took the time to search out the best places for my sister. She kept us updated throughout the entire process, her attention to detail was outstanding and when we made our choice for my sister, she continued to stay on top of the whole process. My mom started in Assisted living and has gone through Memory Care and has been forced to move due to economic conditions. Each time "A Place For Mom" has helped find the best location at the best price. They have been a great help in placing my mom in a safe, secure, and affordable home. My thanks go out to them. My mom was failing daily, and we knew something had to happen. So I reached out and within a couple hours I had 4 appointments with local Senior Living facilities in my area. I first emailed A Place for Mom and the communities phoned me within a couple hours to set up visitation appointments. We ended up contracting with one and are in process of waiting for my mom to be released from Nursing Facility to join the community. When learning of my 75 yo brother's Alzheimer's diagnosis, we brought him back to IA from Texas where he lived for the last 40+ years. Overwhelmed with the situation, I didn't know what to do or where to even start. Asking around, it was clear that A Place for Mom is THE place to start. They are familiar with the Sr. Living Residences and the care offered by each place. They also explain other alternatives which can be considered. They helped me set up appointments for tours and continually check to see how the search was going. I would recommend A Place for Mom because THEY KNOW WHAT TO DO AND HOW TO DO IT!
