I was needed a place for respite care for mom, and not only found a place for respite, but eventually her assisted living place. Really appreciate their information.

Magali has been extremely helpful and supportive while trying to locate placement for my patients and a family member. Magali keeps me informed of status daily. I honestly do not feel I would have had the same positive and supportive outcomes had I gone anywhere else

When my mother's ability to live independently was no longer possible, I knew we had to make a change. The first step we took was moving her closer to me, so I could look after her. Mom was not ready to move onto a facility and that was fine. Between my daughter and I, we left Omer after getting an apartment. Two years ago I moved in with mom to keep a closer eye on her. It was about that time I went online to see what kind of facilities were out there and start working towards the next step. A Place For Mom got in touch right away. I explained that our need was not immediate, but to stay in touch. I was contacted at regular intervals to see if our needs had changed. Then, about a month ago, our need became urgent. I was no longer able to care for Mom even with part time help. I got in touch with Jill and explained the situation. She listened carefully to our needs and that we had budget constraints. Thankfully, Jill located the perfect place for Mom very close to our apartment. Regency Park is beautiful, friendly and clean! Mom received excellent care. Best of all it was exactly right for our budget! I don't think I would have found this place without the help of A Place for Mom!

Cindi and A Place for Mom were a huge help as my family as we realized mom would soon need more care than we could provide in her home. Neither friends and family recommendations nor a Google search helped us much. Cindy asked thoughtful questions about Mom, her and the family's wishes, and financial considerations, and really listened. She quickly provided a list of 8 care centers that met our initial criteria. She talked with me about each one, adding insights from her experience, and we refined the criteria a bit. Her updated list had 6 centers for us to consider. Cindi was able to schedule calls and visits for us, so that we soon had some favorites. Cindi guided us through the process to select and sign up with a center. We were able to make an informed decision and look forward to seeing Mom thrive in her new home. Cindi is a gem to work with!

Refreshing to talk with someone who understood the challenge and parameters and took the time to educate me on the differing levels of care/what questions to ask.

This organization is a wealth of information. The staff are exceptionally knowledgeable and understanding. They listen. They are compassionate. They follow through and follow up. It was a relief to finally have a plan and people to guide me.

I received a phone call from APFM representative within 45 minutes of being referred by a Patient Case manager. The representative was very professional and provided compassionate, helpful recommendations and advice. Would recommend APFM, to every family experiencing the tough decision of finding the right care for their loved-one

When we realized my mom needed to move to independent living soon and on a very limited budget, we called a place for mom for help and Wendy immediately gave us good information and several places to check out in our area. She checked in frequently and always offered great help and advice! I don't think we could have done it without her and will forever be grateful!

After contacting A Place for Mom and explaining what I was looking for I received almost immediate respones by email and phone.There were 4 highly recommended facilities not too far away. I was able to schedule a tour of the 1st place on the list which I had already thought was my first choice. I was so impressed that I out a deposit down the same day. My husband will be moving in as soon as he is discharged from rehab.

A Place for Mom adviser was super helpful; always providing relevant locations to explore and following up on the experience. My advisor responded promptly and so friendly as well as knowledgeable. She informed me of locations that did not meet my guidelines when I explored on my own. Excellent resource, highly recommend.

I'm working with Dolores Saenz and have appreciated her calls and helpful intervention with facility I've chosen. She is very understanding and so kind. I really feel like I'm talking to and old friend who gives great advice!

Needed help with finding my Mom assisted living care, A Place for Mom gave me the information to help move forward and decide what was best for us.

After a fairly long interview, I was told that A Place For Mom could help me find the right place. None of the 3 places were what I wanted. I had to call each place and each time I cancelled the appt. They only direct people to places that pay them large placement fees. So only expensive overpriced places agree to pay A Place for Mom the fee. I found the perfect place without them.
