I worked with Laurette Snyder. She was very kind and understanding. She provided great information, not just on locations, but other helpful advice regarding relocating mom. She checked in frequently to see how we were doing. We did check out facilities that were not listed on A Place For mom yet she did not try to discourage us from doing so. In the end we did pick a facility from the list. Although it has just been a week, I cannot say enough about the facility we chose. It is clean, the food is good and the staff treat my mother very well. There were a few things about the room that didn't meet her needs as she is very short. The changes were made immediately. What else could you ask for. Thank you Laurette.

We found the perfect place for my Mom with the help of A Place For Mom. I got so many emails and calls from facilities and was easily able to set up tours. It did get a little overwhelming at one point because I was receiving so many calls. But having too many places to consider is far better than not having enough to see and compare.

I saw an ad on Facebook just as we were deciding to move my cousin to a facility closer to our home. They called right away, asking what our needs were and other information for them to help us. After a short conversation, they had places in mind. I quickly got a list of facilities with info on each, including the pricing schedule which is not available on websites. They even made 2 appointments for us! We found one we love on the first visit. I would highly recommend using this service to help you comb through all the information out there.

Our 97-year-old "MOM"... is nearing the "end of her money", for ASSISTED LIVING! Your Company helped locate an acceptable solution for her, and probably will keep our "MOM" out of the poorhouse. Many thanks, and much gratitude for your assistance!

The places on the list we received were all good, but one stood out as the best, and we chose that one--Park Lane Senior Living. South Jordan View and TreeO were also very good, and we would have been comfortable with either of those.

My 80 yr-old brother can no longer give care to his 84 yr-old wife. She's lost control of her bodily functions and can no longer get herself up out of bed, nor stand from sitting. Once up, she can only baby step 5 or 6 paces. Her mind is 100% there, it's her body failing her. It is too physical for my brother to care for her with his bad heart. They tried In-Home physical and occupational therapy. It just wasn't enough and then she ended up in the hospital three times in the last three months, with each hospital stay weakening her further. She needed to be attended to 24/7. Their life together had to change for the better - for both of them.

Place for Mom was very responsive to my needs and helped me find a place for my brother while I am about to go on vacation in a timely manner.

I didn't know this service was available the first time I was looking for an assisted living facility for my dad. I happened to stumble across it when I was looking for a new assisted living facility for him. It was easy, and free! I highly recommend!
