Most inconvenient service ever!
The booking process does not highlight or warn users of all the important bits such as:
-Arrival date. Be careful, you may have to wait an entire day for your stuff to arrive.
-What the "insurance" covers. My TV was damaged during transport, and guess what? No one cares or will do anything about it!
-The Van people will prompt you to negotiate with them for anything they consider as an extra item. So warning: the driver will ask you for a direct payment to him. If you pay, then he'll still break your stuff and you won't get any compensation.
-All of my boxes, even the taped ones were opened! My stuff was repacked. Nothing was stolen, but either they were looking for something or they just toss stuff all around (which explains the broken TV)
This service is all around terrible. Don't be seduced by the easy booking process! Just look for a man and a van in Gum Tree!
Never used these people before, and was let down with my first booking. NO contact whatsoever, after they cancelled my booking - although they had both contact numbers for the collection and delivery address. Will never use them again. A bad attitude!
If there was 0-5 rating Id still rate them minus 10 if I could.
Weve booked a 4 bedroom house in advance and paid extras for premium service. What a joke.
Not only did they turn up hours late without any notice or courtesy call but they also had the wrong size van (!) and unable to mov all at once promised to turn o first thing in the morning the very next day.
Need I say this never happened and after half a day chasing on the phone and demanding for our prepaid job to be finished they had the cheek to say Noone is turning up at all.
So our house is still only half moved although weve other things on schedule which we now had to postpone.
Utterly ridiculous, unprofessional to say the least.
Just a disgrace, not even remotely able to give any customer support.
Well most definitely demand a refund for their sh! T premium service as well as compensation for all the expenses weve now incurred thanks to their delay and incompetence.

I recently bought a Canoe based in Southampton for delivery to Warwickshire off GUmtree. Offer was based on Anyvans delivery quote. There advertising is linked to GUmtree ad - in fact it transfers information - Canoe described as 15ft and as double. Van turned up and said it didn't know it was 15ft and could not fit it.@$hrs later after no show on delivery I copntacted anyvan to be advised they were not doing delivery and could offer no alternative... Clearly they do not 'Deliver Anything ANywhere" Totally useless set up, with very poor customer service who could not care less of the situation they put people in - I wasted by week in UK when I was meant to be on holiday and have use of this canoe trying to find another delivery company. Unsuccessfully. This company cause you unnecessary stress and todate refuse to acknowledge their responsibility.
This company will extort its customers of their last penny. The so called "customer service" is hopelessly hostile and uncooperative. Profit is at the top of its priorities list, and the customer is right at the bottom. I'm writing this after a terrible experience of moving a coffee table, when the AnyVan customer service rep. Not only showed any willingness to assist when I tried to reschedule, she said, "I will not show you any goodwill!"
Stay away from AnyVan. There are other courier services with better attitude to customers.

I am moving between two different cities and I had paid extra to book a specific time-slot. On the day, they informed me that they will be 1 hour late outside the time-slot range and then 2 hours late.
Due to them being so late I missed my train and other transport so I had to get last minute tickets that cost a fortune in order to get back home.
I called, and the customer service person had a lot of attitude. She told me that it is not their fault about my schedule and that there won't be a compensation because it is not their responsibility. Then she said that I should read the terms and conditions before buying their services. I told her that I did it over the phone, and that obviously it is impossible to know these things over the phone unless they inform me about it. Her reply was What did you expect? To read you 3 pages of terms and conditions over the phone?
Well, yeah? If it is so important to follow them, then they should let me know over the phone to what I agree on!
And her defense was that they sent an e-mail with a link to the terms at the bottom of my receipt... AFTER I have purchased their service. Sorry, but someone has to read these BEFORE they buy, not after.
And then she mocked me like Wow, don't tell me that you actually read the terms and conditions every time you buy something online.
Just a horrible company, with no courtesy, no accountability, and very bad employees and customer service.

I am a student and needed to move some furniture into my new accommodation. I informed the guy I spoke to at AnyVan that I would be moving some items from my current address and some items from another address (namely the neighbours garage as some was being stored there). I paid £200 for this service. I then called the company back again a few days later to ask if they could give me a more precise window of time for pick up as I needed to vacate the property by a certain time. Another £30 for this.
Moving day came around and the driver turned up late in a bashed in van with so much other stuff in it that he couldnt possibly have fitted all mine in it too. He claimed he hadnt been told about the other addresses, didnt have time to drive around the vicinity picking other things up as he was already late, and if I had a problem with this I should take it up with the boss. Charming.
I called AnyVan who were completely unapologetic and said they would investigate the matter and call back. They didnt, so I called back and they didnt pick up. I called from another telephone line and they mysteriously managed to answer my call. Again, no word of apology and instead the person on the other end of the phone tried to argue with me, saying that I hadnt given them the other address. I pointed out I couldnt possibly have known that I needed to give them the other address (which was literally 4 doors down the road anyway) unless they had asked me to. Which they had not.
She said she would call me back in a few hours and eventually called me back about 5/6 hours later making me the generous offer of a £30 refund. The driver then arrived at my new address late.
All in all, AnyVan cost me £200 (that I had spent hours earning and have no prospect of earning back in the near future due to being a student). They turned up late at both ends with only 1/4 of my furniture and tried to argue with me when I complained. I am now in my new property without any chairs and sleeping on the floor (as my bed is still in my neighbours garage), and having to find some money to somehow pay another company to complete the move.
I booked a service to collect a motor bike - a nightmare avoid these people, on the web £70 then I ended up paying £110 because they could not find a sub-contractor to do it for the £70 it sucks plus they stored my card details!
I booked with anyvan due to excellent reviews on trustpilot. Received 2 calls before they booked date to say the driver would be with me around 1400 with a call beforehand with a definite ETA.
On the day I receive a text from the driver at 14.01 to say he has been delayed and would be with me between 16.30-17.00 and would call with an ETA nearer the time. At 16.35 I had not heard from the driver so text to ask when I could expect him to which I got a reply saying he would be at least 1hr 30 more (in a location at least 30 minutes away from my address) but was near my address the following day if that worked for me?
I had booked for a pickup between 08.00-18.00 on my one day off between working day shifts and nights shifts and so the following day was not going to be acceptable.
I was incredibly disappointed with this service and called customer services to see how they were going to deal with this situation. The gentleman who took the call was very pleasant and tried to contact the driver however had no response. I was told I would be called back shortly once they had contacted the driver and he would discuss with his manager regarding what they could do about the inconvenience caused.
I did not hear back shortly from them and had to get back in contact with them. I was told the driver would contact me shortly with a time he would be arriving. I received a short text that said I will be with you this evening, no time frame given.
Customer services offered to refund me £15 for the inconvenience.
I am very disappointed with the service provided and would not recommend this company.

So I booked this company for my mum who was moving house for a fresh start having become widowed after my recent fathers passing. I received a very fair and competitive quote after filling in the online form with all movable goods. I asked several times if there was any hidden charges/agenda behind the quote price to which I was assured - no. Likewise if the area (highlands of scotland) would be known/familiar to the driver as she had to be out of the house and I could not afford any hiccups leaving her stranded and homeless. Again, all of the assurances were that I have nothing to worry about. Needless to say I didnt hesitate in booking a Saturday slot between 8-12 am complete with 2 helpers to assist my mum. I made the call on the Wednesday.
On Saturday morning at 09:30 hrs (1.5 hrs into the allocated time slot) I received a call informing me they could no longer provide a van, driver and service. I asked how this could happen on the morning and day they were meant to be assisting my mum with moving and how this never came to fruition before now?! This was same day and 1.5 hrs into the time slot I had booked... I had several phone calls back and forth to try get resolve. Unfortunately each and every time I phoned I spoke to a different call centre and person (Newcastle, London, Liverpool) all of which advised that they didnt have a manger that I could speak with?! The told us the earliest they could get us a van, driver and service was on Tuesday the following week. I advised this was a disgrace and all the reassurances you gave me before I made the booking are false and farcical.
I also later discovered that even though you get a booking confirmation, your money is taken and everything looks sorted. All Anyvan do is act as a middleman and go to local firms in the area to get to do the quote price they have given you. So basically I paid for an advertisement and then was told it would take further 2-3 days to get my money back... as a result of this we had to pay another firm and find further funds to book this until anyvan refunded the money.
There was no compensation, remorse, discount/free service offered. This is my first and last dealing with this despicable company. Be very cautious!
The service I received from Victor and his colleague was excellent. They were efficient, hard working and friendly. I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

Very professional - initial communication was clear and helpful - reliable - updated me of exact pick up and drop off times - would definitely recommend. All the items transported arrived in perfect condition. The driver was courteous and very efficient - would definitely recommend. Excellent value
I needed a sofa taking to the tip. Within an hour I had a van ordered and he came to take it away, no problem
My furniture left in perfect as new condition and arrive damaged. My furniture was not covered or tidied down in the van and arrived with other peoples furniture fallen ontop of mine. Drivers attitude was appalling, the van unroadworthy and communication zero. Anyvan refuse to contact me! Very poor service and very poor customer service. Anyvan is an embarrassment to the removals industry. There opinion is because the item is delivered, I should not be refunded the delivery! AVOID
I used anyvan.ie for a job in SE Ireland but the currency was in sterling. To my mind, this is a bug that should be a simple fix. As it was, I fell into the trap and thought the price was in Euro, but it wasn't. The reply I got from the Anyvan Helpdesk was less than helpful basically saying that of course the price was in pounds.
Otherwise, an excellent service that is not hesitate to recommend.
George and Ray were very polite and professional. These two strapping lads lifted 4 heavy garden urns and a garden font. All the pieces arrived safely and they were cheerful and obliging throughout. I'm happy to recommend them. Well done lads!
Never seen a company with so many dissatisfied customers they take your money then start making excuses for thier incompetance they lie to you and cause mayhem they doctor up review sites with false information to misslead the public please go to a reliable removel firm
I used AnyVan and it was very easy to book a slot. Prices were much cheaper than other companies, likely because I did not have much stuff. I got a refund for early pickup that I paid because the driver could not come at the time I wanted.
The company who came to pick up my stuff also deserve 5 stars, he was professional and delivered as promised, communicating along the way.
