This company is shocking, I have just left my husband due to domestic abuse and was given a safe house from the council, I paid anyvan £329 and they sent out 2 Romanian guys on the day, they said they couldn't do the work due to an allergy to dogs hairs, so anyvan sent out 3 Russian guys as and they told me the job was too big for them and they needed petrol! And they left too. I called anyvan and they told me that it was due to the state of my furniture and I wasn't going to get a refund! Now my furniture might be old but it is not dangerous, surely if you pay for a job to be done and it doesn't get done, you will be refunded! I had to borrow that money in the first place, and then had to borrow another £400 to get the job done by 2 local lads, with no complaints. DO NOT GO CHEAP PEOPLE YOU MIGHT LOSE IT ALTOGETHER, THEY MIGHT STEAL YOUR MONEY TOO! Guess I will have to take it to the small claims, appointment next week with the citizens advice bureau. BEWARE
Vehicle transport booked but on finding full vehicle details transport company said cost would be increased which made job unviable. We mutually agreed to cancel. Anyvan would not refund a penny, kept referring me to their T&C's so kept the £450 deposit, DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE, no reasoning with them when things don't work out.
Absolutely do not recommend this company to anybody. Booked for 2 guys to move a wardrobe for me and after paying a substantial amount to have new flooring laid only 2 months ago, this is now ruined as it was torn in multiple places during the move as a result from dragging the wardrobe rather than lifting. Despite my patience and numerous attempts to contact the company and come to a resolution, my calls are ignored and my emails go unanswered. I find it extremely disappointing that any company, who claim to be professional, are behaving in this way. I really do urge anybody who is thinking about booking these guys to book with someone else.
Booked way in advance and was told I could easily change my booking online up to 48 hours in advance. A few days before the move, I tried to change the number of boxes on my booking but the website said I wasn't allowed to change anything (even though it was much earlier than 48 hours in advance). I had an absolute nightmare trying to speak to customer services about it. Tried the live chat but people kept closing the chat on me as they couldn't help. I sent an e-mail that was never responded to. I phoned up and was passed around from employee to employee, put on hold, passed around again, on it went... Eventually someone told me the price would be DOUBLE for the new order (bear in mind, I wanted to change it to around 10 FEWER boxes than before). I obviously refused to pay this, though I was stuck needing to move in a few days. After me explaining the situation over again for the hundredth time, the customer service employee said they would phone the driver and then phone me back. He then told me the driver had agreed a 'special price' of £200 more than I originally paid. I paid it because I was desperate, but really I feel cheated. Why should the price increase by *any* amount when it included less boxes than originally estimated? Please avoid this company - their customer service is awful and they will cheat you out of more money if you want to change anything on your order.
Paid Anvan Courier collection dates given. Never sent a courier to collect. RIP OFF COMPANY DO NOT USE. Will give you promises they won't keep.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. We are appalled. We sold a table and chairs and the buyer used AnyVan to collect. One of the men knocked a chunk of plaster out of our wall, then they jumped in their van and drove off. We took photos and contacted AnyVan immediately. Several weeks on and having to chase them constantly, they are refusing to do anything about it. Apparently the drivers are not their responsibility, the drivers in this case are denying they did the damage and AnyVan are refusing to help. BE AWARE if you have any problems, AnyVan are saying they are not responsible for the couriers they contracxt to do the work.
What company takes your money and offers a collection slot between 8AM and 6PM then turns up at a block of flats at 11.40 pm to remove furniture which only had to be moved to a house less than 10 minutes away. No apology, disturbed neighbours and inadequate compensation for all the stress caused to my daughter and my mother. Any Van is a disgrace. A weak company officer who uses the iinadequate customer service staff as a shield. It would be interesting to know how long he keeps his customer service staff poor things!
NEVER AGAIN!
I booked the collection of a two seater sofa, clearly stated on booking as a "two seater sofa". Yet it turned up in a van that was dirty and old and too small for the job that contained an oily spare wheel, on removing the sofa from the van the cover was ripped and covered in oil, which will not come out. This is a quote from the Any van website instructions to drivers, code of conduct:
All customer goods will be packed appropriately and safely, showing a heightened duty of care throughout all moves. Don't take risks, use more blankets if necessary. This makes you feel your item will be taken care of but beware as it is a lie my pale yellow sofa was not wrapped at all and no care was taken!
When I contacted Anyvan I was told by customer services that they do not care what condition your item arrives in, they do not care what happens to it on the way, I quote "if the driver gets it dirty and breaks it that is fine so long as he delivers it!"
The sofa I bought is totally ruined. Anyvan charged me £98.00 to ruin it!
It is not worth the risk with a company that has no pride or customer service.

Shocking Customer Service - highly unreasonable behaviour over the phone, unwilling to assist, and will talk back at you. Once a service I respected but all is lost. Very unimpressed and will never use again. - Just use gumtree to find a man with a van if you need a job done - cut out the middle man, that's all Anyvan are.
Everything is fine until it goes wrong. Their driver and assistant dropped our table top breaking the glass. Anyvan then could not make contact with the driver. He would not return their calls. An insurance claim needed to be made on the driver's insurance, which proved to be impossible. Anyvan made a derisory offer of Pounds 150, leaving us some Pounds 1300 out of pocket. The CEO of Anyvan hides behind his customer service centre and takes no responsibility for the company's driver. Shameful behaviour!
Booking was ok but the actual moving company and service they provided was appalling. They only moved half my possessions. They just left the rest. What they did move they damaged. They started quite cheap but ended up being very expensive especially as they only did half the job and that was done badly, When I complained they basically said tough we have your money now.
Please don't use them they may appear ok at first but they are a con. They have 100s of fake reviews on their sites.

Please think twice before booking anything with this company unless it's not important and you don't have to book any time off and are prepared to do it yourself even with 7 days notice.
Very quick to button up the sale, but no service whatsoever afterwards. Had to call for any response, offered £10 compensation voucher against another transaction. It's taken two days for anyone to contact me after the event.
So be warned! Don't be taken in by the positive feedback like I was. They are most probably leaving that feedback themselves!
DO NOT HIRE THIS SERVICE. We went through reviews beforehand and decided to ignore the occasional bad reviews, and go with this 'cheaper' option. Bad idea.
Absolutely disgusted with my service. I was informed at time of booking (when I hadn't finished packing) that any little bits and pieces that needed adding could be done so for an extra fee on the day. The drivers were so rude and left with half a van empty, when all we had left to take was a few pictures, a wine rack, and an ironing board. Our car was packed full so we couldn't take them. We even offered to pay more, but they said no and left. This meant we had to leave these items and return for them at a later date, 140 miles away. On arriving at the new house, the drivers placed all our items downstairs, including our superking mattress, which we then had to try and get up the stairs despite my partner having a broken hand. Their attitude was so disgusting whenever I asked them to place something in a certain room, that I felt uncomfortable being in their presence and ended up going to stand outside until they left.
When I complained to the company about our experience, the customer service representative fought me tooth and nail on each issue, spoke very condescendingly toward me, and completely contradicted what the initial person on the phone said to me when I booked. Considering I booked over the phone, I expected the information they gave me there to be correct, but apparently it wasn't and they were just trying to make me happy so they could take my money. As for the extra items, apparently the drivers will not take anything that's not on the list, although when I tried to amend my order online prior to the move, it would not allow me to do so. The company also told me we had booked for a 'ground floor' move, so the drivers weren't obligated to take anything upstairs, however the representative on the phone at booking simply asked what kind of property we were moving into (a house), and didn't specify that we had to state some items would need to be taken upstairs.
NOT WORTH THE MONEY. We paid £500 for this move, and would much rather have paid a couple of extra hundred for a good, local company who would do their job properly. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.
I used AnyVan through two separate bookings in one day and I was not happy with the service. For the first booking, i was expeecting to get two men and a man, one of the men cancelled with very short notice. For the second booking, the driver arrived 90min late, with almost no previous notice. The cancellations added so much stress to my big moving day. I will not use their service again
Anyvan are rip off merchants stole my £220 never did the collection and wont even talk about a refund. They find all kinds of ways NOT to do the job then demand another £155 to do it. Shriply did it without fuss only took deposit on collection and balance on delivery. I only wish I did more resurch on the team of bandits prior to booking. Hope this might stop one or two to use someone /anyone else.
I had a terrible experience, the driver stood me up and claims that he was there, apparently he arrived early and took some pictures as a proof that I was not in so that they can put all the blame of their incompetence on their customers. Who would do this? Instead of ringing the customer who is waiting, taking pictures and driving off? Trying to get my money back and ask for a reimbursement of other damages that this whole thing has costed me, so far only spoke with a customer service agent who showed no respect whatsoever and made it clear that they will say whatever lie they need not to refund the money. They take your money, they don't do the job, and they refuse to refund. Best of all, they claim they are cheaper! They are not! Out of desperation and with some luck I managed to find an Uber like moving company which costed me less than half of what I paid to AnyVan with a really good service.
Attitude of the driver was shocking. Dont think the price you paid will be final price! Oak sideboard was badly damaged and watch small print which says company only cover fire, theft, aircraft and flood! As if?! Now have to claim from the driver. It all made a stressful move ten times worse. Dont use them!
Anyvan, I have noticed you have taken so many of your customers money (including mine) but refused to provide the service. So much that a petition has been made called 'Anyvan- Stop Cheating your customers'. The stealing needs to stop, if you can't provide the service you agreed, a refund MUST be made. No excuses! As stated by trading standards you must refund and compensate me for the damage you have caused me.
I booked with Anyvan two months before my move to secure my booking. And on the day of my move no one turned up. I tried chasing up Anyvan all day, and they just said they'll get back to me. They eventually did saying they can't do it today, only tomorrow now. I said I need to cancel and request a refund, which they refused the refund in a very rude way.
I had to submit a complaint regarding this, and 'Charlotte Collins Woodford' was very insulting towards my unacceptable experience, and very sarcastic. She didn't even listen to a single word I said, and had zero understanding of what went on.
I then had to submit a formal complaint, and 'Jordan Grimsley' was equally as shocking. He also didn't listen to a word I said, and had no idea what happened to the driver that day.
An unacceptable experience. How can you take someone's money if you refuse to do the job they paid you to do?
I had to cancel this and in the end I got a local removals company to help me out. They were brilliant.
Very very bad experience with this company, driver never showed up, did not answer his phone, no answer on customer service, called at least 12 times in 1 h -no luck. Had to arranged another company, 2 days later, still no money back and no luck with phone calls, ones agin called customer service 3 times each time 10 min on the phone and no answer!
I am moving home and was searching for removals on line. Came across the AnyVan website and entered date and address details on their calendar. All seemed okay, booked removal date, AnyVan took immediate payment. The day before I was due to move, and having made all the usual preparations for moving - including booking the day off work - they rang and told me they dont have any removal partners in the Whitehaven area (why then did they advertise on their diary that they do and even worse, took immediate payment. They said I won't receive my money back for 3 - 5 working days! Their customer service is shocking and I would highly suggest that you use a local firm, pay a little more and get a decent service with peace of mind. Ref No: AV 557 4845
