They were provided with a full list of items to be moved. Cowboys showed up in a small transit van. Move therefore took 2 days instead of few hours. Expensive items were damaged along the way and despite paying for their removal insurance, Anyvan are giving me the run around and won't accept responsibility for the damaged items.
They charge you a fortune to list your job on there site then only pay there drivers less than 50% of the booking. Whilst the drivers pay for everything themselves. Unhappy drivers = unhappy service

I hired anyvan to do my house move. They HIRE other people who are incompetent. 2 men came with a small van and I expressed my concern as it was a full house move. The men could not speak English and somehow managed to put my full house hold items into 1 small van.
During the removal they damaged 2 of 4 flat screen televisions. 1 that cost £2000. A oak mirror, fridge freezer, washing machine and dryer all dented and scratched massively. The above I put in a claim for obviously and the removal men said the damage was already done. Yeh no images to support the damage. They had taken images of damage to other items in my old house which I pointed out to them also. Anyway. It was then that I became aware that anyvan use a 3rd party. And I am not insured for damage with anyvan. They will not provide me with the lads insurance provider due to confidentiality. These lads have caused thousands of pounds worth of damage to my belongings and AnyVan have said if they do not accept liability I will be given up to £100 towards each damaged item. I am seeking legal advice and hope anyvan will be slammed with the legal bill.
The only advice I will give is stay well clear of this terrible company and save your self the upset of items being badly damaged.
My cooker was also badly damaged but before I realised I was not insured for damage I did not claim for this as my cooker had other damage so I felt it was unreasonable to claim for it.
Any van promised my tvs would be taken down and put up. Then they said they do not do this.
Any Van is not as good as they like to make out. My home appliances are ruined. One lad trampled poo all over my carpets. I paid for 3 beds to be taken down and put back up. They are loose and I am unable to do it my self due to physical health problems. Honestly wouldn't waste your money
Anyvan just changed my task, my task of moving piano and small item from living and moving 50sqf storage things were changed into "3 items", offer accepted attempted to increase, suddenly I got cancellation, still no deposit refund. I feel this is a scam. To avoid.
After paying a considerable amount of money and having AnyVan confirming a time slot by text message the driver drove off and didn't complete the job. Customer services were absolutely not helpful and they got my money without doing the job in total £277 pounds and plus I had to incur in extra costs to do the job myself. Their website and text messages are deceiving and when things go wrong they just "steal" your money. You are better off to work with a local family service or rent a can yourself. DO NOT USE IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO GET YOUR MONEY STOLEN and get stuck.
Anyvan are a scam, do not trust their sales team
Anyvan provided the worst removal service I could have imagined.
To anyone looking to use Anyvan, be careful as you will be lied to, let down and then intimated into paying more money for a dreadful service as the removal men refuse to leave your house.
Sadly, a number of our items were damaged too. But don't expect Anyvan customer services to be of any help. Once they have your money, you will get no help from them.
Anyvan are a disgrace of a company.
18/09/2023 Today, I was contacted from Anyvan to cancel the house moving service I have arranged and paid for on 22/09/2023. That's just a few days away and their reason is that the quote they gave me is wrong and asked me to pay over £400 more if I want to keep this service.
First of all, the quote and discount have been applied and given to me by the staff via live chat. The staff who called Shaun (refused to give me his full name) tried to frame it as my fault as I did the quote online and the quote is not accurate up there. Indeed that's not my wrong and actually it is a quote from the staff directly so if that is inaccurate, the fault is theirs because of the human mistake. I have the chat history for your scrutiny. I don't see any reasons why I have to endure this suffering.
Honestly, you cannot just cancel on someone,especially moving is a big job to do and I never agree with it in the phone call. I demanded to speak to a senior manager as I see we are not going anywhere as they are not trying to be reasonable. Then Shaun claimed he is the one.
So the phone call ended with he is insisting to cancel and refund me without my approval.
I demand to have my arranged service back with the same quote and amount to pay.
The removals team they supplied were incompetent and the vehicle they supplied inadequate. They damaged almost every piece of furniture, ranging from large scratches, holes you can put your fist through to doors torn from cabinets. They caused over £2000 of damage and offered £76 in compensation. You'd be better off sticking a match to your existing furniture and buy it all again new.
Absolutely disaster of a service. Never showed up. Had to spend hours with customer service and they kept changing pick up times, etc… eventually the driver was nowhere to be found and was not able to get my delivery.
DISGUSTING COMPANY! So my initial job was for a few cases some large bags and a medium box for £52 pounds and to go up two flights of steps. As things go I ended up having a laundry bin, a stool and two small parcels as well. Well the man kindly told me I had to pay an extra £68 for him to move the stuff! Then when I go to get in the van as that's what I did with another company he says 'Oh you can't come with us' and left me there! So I had to just hope that they knew they were going while I waited for an Uber and guess what-they weren't. Maybe it's because they know I'm a young girl that they decided they could take complete advantage of me. Then I talked to Taryn a 'support agent' who told me that it was all fine because they were professionals and would hopefully deliver my items soon. So now I'm just waiting and hoping that EVERYTHING I OWN is delivered untouched and nothing has been stolen. This company is a scam whatever you do DO NOT USE THEM.
As they entered the house our documents purse disappeared! They exactly knew were was it but we never found them again, spent £2000 to replace them all, absolutely unprofessional stuff. They also came the wrong time so Not recommended at all!
Booked a date to pick up a fridge, they got the date wrong and rang me a day early to sat we are ready to pick up your fridge,I said it's tomorrow,I know I put the date in correctly because I am not an idiot,they made a new date and charged me 50 percent of the previous price on top so basically I was ripped off and charged 110 pound to pick up and delivery a fukicng freezer that is 5 minutes away from the delivery address, these guys are robbing bastadrs
Absolute joke of a company, house removal service, took three attempts and dumped all my things in the kitchen! Avoid these lying people - driver said that I wanted all my items in the kitchen?! Despite me crying down the phone and offering him cash to please not leave my things like that and put them in the lounge. Customer service was useless, emails and return phone calls promised, eventually 10% refund offered, despite me having to take 2 days off work! Absolutely appalling! Avoid the stress and go elsewhere!
I paid £3,200 in advance for a complete house removal. I frequently updated Anyvan prior to the move with additional items for which extras were added to the quote. On the day the vans provided were hopelessly too small. Took eight hours to load the first van! That was impounded by the police for being overloaded and my belongings were not delivered until SIX days after collection! Some of my belongings had to be moved by my family to their homes because of the necessity of clearing the property for occupation of the new owners on the follwing day. A significant number of items were damaged, some beyond repair, and others have completely disappeared. Avoid this total shower like the plague!
AVOID. Disgusting scam of a company. Sent a group of men and a van who arrived, chainsmoked the whole time, refused to carry out the job saying there wasn't permitted parking, despite me finding bay parking alternatives for them (photo attached), they still refused while sneering in my face saying "I've been doing this for 15 years darling". After an hour of not doing anything, and me desperately trying to find alternatives, they drove off and blocked my number. It took me an hour to get through to customer service ON THE DAY OF MY MOVE, where they told me they're keeping the £300 I paid saying it's within their rights to do so. I used Compare The Man And Van in the end - they arrived finding me very upset, parked up, did the job in half an hour - truly professional, lovely, honest, hardworking people and company. ABSOLUTELY AVOID ANYVAN unless you want to be conned out of your money and time, as well as the awful customer service. I can't believe they are pocketing my money despite me showing photo evidence of parking spaces and not carrying out the service.
TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE. The worst experience of any service, ever. They took our money, we're so chaotic they didn't order a van and have kept our £243. Now we are taking them to court to get out money back. What happened is that we wanted a van to pick up a sofa in the Lake District and take it to the East Midlands. Simply enough eh?One pick up and one drop off! Anyvan said they could do it for £243, but insisted on payment upfront. Anyvan even choose the date and time. We drove to the lake district to make sure the sofa was not left in the street. We got there early, we waited, and waited, but no van! Rang Anyvan, they then told us they had forgotten to order a van, and there was no van coming to pick up our sofa. Nothing we can do, we were told! Terrible, terrible service. Talk about hung out to dry and sod your luck mate,and to top it off, they have kept our money! So we were left in the street with a sofa and my wife in floods of tears. What were we to do with a sofa in the street 200 miles from where Anyvan promised they would deliver it? I ended up driving to Manchester to hire a van (thank you Arnold Clark, you are a life saver) driving back to the lake district, struggling with the sofa on my own, driving to East Midlands, delivering it at Midnight, then driving back home for 2am. 600 miles and a 20hr day! Thanks to the chaos caused by Anyvan. The worst service ever was not over though! I have written to all 3 directors to get my money back, they didn't ever bother to reply, so, they have my £243, it cost me £180 van hire=£423 out of pocket, and a wife back in depression. What do I have to do get my money back from these people. DO NOT USE ANYVAN AT ANY PRICE, THEY ARE TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE.

I have used AnyVan once before, and had no complaints. Unfortunately, this time was not a great experience. The day before my move I was expecting my allocated time-slot and tracking information, which I did not get. I then contacted customer service who said 9am. Great. I got up early and everything prepared. I rang the driver just after 9am and double-checked as I still had no tracking information. Despite the name being Muhammad, a lady picked up, and after I mentioned the word 'van' she hung up. Then I rung again and I was told I had the wrong number and he doesn't drive a van anymore. AnyVan had no explanation for this. Luckily, they were able to send a replacement who were great but they were explaining how they barely got any money despite me paying a small fortune. Anyway, I've cancelled my future bookings with them.
My arrangement with the company was that they would deliver my stuff by 16.57 on the 14th of June. However, I kept calling the driver on the day and he was always telling me that he had been assigned more and more jobs and that he would be more and more late. I called customer service and explained to them that I am flying at 3am the next day and wont be in the UK for another 2 weeks, so I need my stuff delivered by 6.30pm because I need to sort out the rest of my business before I leave. Initially they said they would definitely meet this deadline, however when the time came they said they could only deliver it the next day. This is after me making them aware that I won't be there the next day and for another 2 weeks. When I asked them if they could store my stuff somewhere for two weeks until I get back, they said that's not possible. Only after I told them I would be looking into my legal options did they agree to make a compromise.
I don't know about you, but this sounds to me like they were never intending to deliver my stuff, hence why I initially wanted to write that they tried to steal my stuff. It is essential to make people aware that this business is fraudulent so that they don't fall into the same trap that I did.

I deeply regret choosing AnyVan to handle my international move.
The driver I hired arrived to my address with an almost FULL van. The driver told me his boss had asked him to leave room for only 13 boxes. He apologised and left. I reported this to AnyVan and was told I would receive a full refund because the picture I took of the van showed clearly that it was full. Fine, mistakes happen. I was ready to make another booking.
However, since I was promised a refund various members of staff have told me I can't have a refund under any circumstance, some told me I can have a credit note, some told me I can have a partial refund. But so far, I received NOTHING. I paid just short of £1000. Some customer service staff told me they spoke with their 'trustworthy' driver and he told them he had space butt I refused collection, then he said I had more than double the amount of space I'd booked. So, if the driver lies, they take his side.
To make matters worse, some of the staff have been incredibly rude beyond belief. I have been gaslit, mis-spoken to, had one of the staff turn me on and off mute whilst I complained, and called by the sales team TWICE to make another booking.
Most of the staff are in desperate need of some training in how to conduct a conversation.
AnyVan makes business based on the promise that their drivers are trusted, yet when their drives take untrustworthy action - it's nothing to do with them because of their terms and conditions.
You should also be aware that the driver I hired used a different business name. When I googled the business name I paid the money to, he has a number of 1 star reviews saying he stole their items/ is being taken to court.
Please, don't make the mistake I did. Do not choose AnyVan.
