These reviews don't surprise me at all, Why do customers still choose to book through there website.

They are NOT a removal company, They are a delivery company that doesn't own any vans or employs drivers directly they just take 33% of what the customers pay and then advertise the work to self-employed drivers.

These self - employed drivers bid amongst themselves to the point where they are working for nothing, Mostly because they are foreigners who have bought a cheap van and need some cash.

Their terrible reviews say it all, they are simply a website to put you in touch with self-employed drivers, You don't know who will be showing up on the day. Why anyone would book this way is beyond me, Pay the money and get a proper removal company in to safely and Professionally move your items and save yourself the bother,

Hopeless cowboys
October 4, 2019

To call these people cowboys would be an insult to real cowboys turned up in a tatty Luton van with the front bumper hanging off playing ultra loud music smoking, fag butts left on the drive I had to tell them to turn the music off as it would upset other residents. Not a good first impression one pretended not to speak English at first. Right from the off it was clear they didn't want to be there. They proceeded to load some items then got stuck with the sofa at the front door. This is when I realised that instead of paying £500 for professional removal men I had been lumbered with two witless morons. This is when I informed them I was calling any van to complain. The first person I spoke with at any van was no use at all promised to speak to the company and sort it out and call me back. That never happened. What did happen was that these guys boss called me I told him what I thought of his employees and their unprofessional attitude, he said he'd speak to them kept calling me mate and had absolutely zero customer service skills. By this time I am in full panic mode so I call any van back and talk to Tony on customer service, Tony is an absolute star he offered solutions over the phone so I could remove the front door to get the sofa out, solutions which I would have expected the so called professional men they had sent to offer. Tony saved the day but that didn't make up for the lack of professional standards or attitude from the two removal men. The van they bought had just a dirty worn floor to which the soft furnishings were unceremoniously up ended on and to add insult to injury was not large enough to get all our belongings in and some had to be left behind, it's a good job we weren't moving far away and this despite being charged almost £500 for this service. Off load was slightly better as I sensed they saw the end of the tunnel. However after they had scarpered I noticed damage to a chest of drawers and a king size mattress all in all a terrible experience. I selected any van because of the trust pilot reviews however if any van want to maintain their brand status they need to check their contractors standards and practices as this particular company fall well short of any professional standards and any form of customer service. Please please do not subject any more of your customers to this terrible company

These 213 reviews are paid believe me becuz it's a business which is literally run by one young boy who has no idea what to do... i booked a van for 5 pm and they kept on saying to me that the van will arrive in 1 hour n so... they kept on delaying until it was 9 pm at night with all my luggage outside... they just said they couldn't find any driver sorry... please please avoid this scam company

Run away from Anyvan!

The second time I used their services my wardrobe was damaged beyond repair plus one piece was missing. Anyvan denied everything after I formally complained. The ombudsman man can not look into it because Anyvan is not a member. I can not take the case to court as under their terms and conditions they clarified that the contract is between the trader and me and Anyvan is not responsible for lost or damaged property. I couldn't take the van and men to court because due to data protection Anyvan won't provide information on them after the job was completed. Despite paying by card the bank won't help either. Please avoid this company.

Any van cancelled my move minutes before their deadline. They called me and said they would find another driver in the next few hours. No one bothered to call back to say this would not be the case and they left me waiting when no one showed up and I could not get through to them on the phone. When I finally managed several hours later, they promised a van to be with me between 8-10 the next morning. The new tenants where due to move that morning so they had to pay extra to delay their move.
The next day they failed to show up again, and again no one bothered to contact me. I phoned them and they said they could not allocate a driver but someone would be there that day to move me. At this point I hired another company as had to be out of the house and did not believe for a second they would show up. Surprise, they did not. Again no contact.
Onto the third day of this, I had moved the previous day with a lovely reliable company. I phoned up anyvan and asked for a full refund and explained the situation. They had the audacity to tell me I had agreed to move on this day, three days late! I explained that I certainly had not and that no one had even been bothered to contact me whilst this was all going on. I've had to contact my bank and start a dispute to get my money back off these people. I've also had to contact trading standards and contact my solicitor to start legal action against them to recoup the money lost in my time and the moving bills of the other company and on behalf of the other tenants who where forced to pay a cancellation fee for their move and then pay to hire the company again for a different day.
Moving is stressful enough, don't make it worse, use a different company!

Booked and paid for a collection and delivery £53... they kept txting to say they were going to be late... the guy I'd bought a desk from in the end went out, he'd been in waiting for 5 hours... they arrived late and wouldn't wait. Even if I rescheduled I had to pay another £25, even though it was their fault!... waste of £53... didn't even reimbursed

Turned up three hours late, the van was too small, rude drivers and customer service couldn't care less. I called customer service to get the situation resolved, they said I wasn't exact enough with my items and they cancelled the job (the drivers had another job that evening so clearly couldn't be bothered with ours). Drivers unloaded the van leaving us with a full house we had to move out of that evening, utterly disgraceful and they couldn't care less!

Horrible employee

Horrible customer service received over the phone. The customer assistant was practically shouting at me. I went through so much hassle with the man absolutely appalled. Spoke absolute waffle too.

The employee failed to give me accurate and adequate help over the phone. I even asked to talk to a supervisor or a manager and he gave me silly excuses as to why he can transfer me to them. There was an issue that I had with my booking; I was told that my payment "failed" however i straight away contacted my bank who informed me that the payment was sent. I tried to even give him the transaction iD and he refused to pass it over to the accounts team. Massive waste of my time and horrific experience with him. I have no trust in your company to the extent that it is imperative that I get a new card once I'm done with AnyVan. The employees took my bank details over the phone and sent the payment again up to three times. Even went to the extent where he blatantly lied and said my card had expired. Something that was right in front of me with a expiry date of 2021 he has the audacity to be lying to me. I am absolutely furious.

Driver's name Shaka did not deliver my stuff to the location.
I paid for 3 suitcases and 2 boxes to be carried to the 2nd floor, they left my stuff on the ground floor unattended. When I try to call them, they hang up the call every time. I called the customer service which took hours to pick up my call. The driver lied and said he carried my stuffs upstairs. The customer service said I didn't have a photo evidence and there's nothing she can do. At that time I was too upset and focused on getting all my belongings upstairs and I never thought about taking a photo. I am very surprised how the customer service took the words of the driver over that of the customers.
No refund. Nothing. The driver lied and got away with this.

Worst company ever
August 13, 2019

The worst experience I have ever had with a company.

My van never showed up, and the driver repeatedly lied to me and said he was on his way, while I could see on his tracking he wasn't. I waited an entire day for him while he made excuses, and eventually watched as he drove straight past my town to the other side of the country after promising he would be with me next.

Customer service were useless in every way while I tried to resolve this.

Eventually another van shows up, 24 hours later than I had booked. They damage a street sign, which they took no responsibility for. Once the van is packed, they spend ten minutes standing around chatting to each other in another language while I wait for my Uber. I repeatedly ask if everything is okay, and they say it is. It isn't until I am getting into the Uber that they tell me they have locked the keys in the van. I had frozen food in the van. I went with the Uber and waited at my new flat. Eventually the van shows up and they unload it, thankfully without incident.

I repeatedly tried to raise these issues with customer service and found them to be avoidant, obnoxious and condescending. I have still not received a refund. A truly appalling company at every level, from lying drivers, to incompetent and rude customer service.

Unrealiable and misleading promises. Look for an alternative!

I booked a transit from Milton Keynes to near Bournemouth, for same day' delivery. It's a simple route along which I assumed the driver would add a few pick ups and would be easily achievable.

NOT SO!

The driver collected my goods at 9:00am. That morning he did not accept any of my calls and the tracking system online was not working.

At 13:00. I received a text from the driver claiming up to 6 hr delays on the M5. Could he drop the item three days later! The M5! What kind of a route is that on the opposite side of the county! Even without delays, that was almost unachievable. I checked the live traffic reports online. No reports corroborated heavy delays. I sent a text back and explained I'd paid for a one day delivery, I'd lost a day's pay by taking time off work, and was not available the following week. Please deliver.

At 15:00 I got a 2nd text from the driver, " I'm stuck in traffic near Exeter". EXETER! Now this really was getting ridiculous! The driver said he wouldn't be able to deliver today.

I then made several calls to Anyvan customer service. They confirmed my item was too far away to be delivered. I was NOT entitled to any compensation because the initial booked route was over 100 miles away' (read the small print) even though by routing via Exeter, Anyvan had added an extra 160 miles. I ask, who's fault is that?

With no option, I forced to wait for an early morning drop-off, the next day. I informed Anyvan I had had an appointment that morning and so was promised the delivery would take place before 8:30 - 9:00 am. Not sure if the driver or Anyvan made this promise.

The next day, 9:00 came and... Nothing! At 9:30. I sent a text to the driver. NO RESPONSE. Tracking was again not available... or not turned on.

9:35. I called Anyvan who couldn't, contact the driver either. I later recieved a text from Anyvan saying the driver would be with me by 10:50.

The driver Funalky arrived at 11:05.

It turns out that the driver is not responsible for setting a route. It is Anyvan.

The claims made by Anyvan and the reliability of the service are just not fit for purpose.

I booked a van with any van, paid up in full. I received a phone call a day before my moving date, they could not send I van in the morning as planned and they were cancelling the van and will reimburse me my money in 3-7 working days. I asked to talk to the manager, he was very very unhelpful. He only agreed to send a van on the agreed date and time after I had been very firm with him and told him the I was going to sue them. Terrible terrible service. Very rude and disrespectful. When the van guys came, they were both very helpful an polite unlike their management. I could not submit with!/2 a star so I had to choose 1 star. The 1 star is for the two men who came to do the ground work, their management deserve a 0 star.

I honestly cannot praise these guys enough. They went above and beyond what I expected.

They didn't give in even when the bed was virtually impossible to take apart.

We had a lot of heavy items to move and they worked relentlessly for hours even though they had been doing moves since 5am.

How they could be so positive and friendly with everything they had to do is beyond me.

Highly recommend!

Last time anyvan movers can able to deliver 3.1 Cubic size goods to my property at first floor but this time i booked the household items from the same property with size of 2.1 cubic but this time they unable to pick and expected to customer to provide the parking entrance arch size to decide what kind of van for transport but as a customer i knew that my items occupies only 2.1 Cubic.
Even customer provides other option to park to Anyvan driver, but driver speaks so harass and threaten you for extra money
Even description of all household goods mentioned clearly on booking quotation, Anyvan driver mentioned like we got list as mattress and box. Very poor coordination between company and their van drivers... I never again use or suggest to anyone... very very poor service...

Booked a time slot which they arrived 4 hours late for, rushed the job, communication was poor, our drivers couldn't speak English and so communication was extremely difficult, left a car full of items to move ourselves. And we missed our deadline to hand our keys into our old landlord. Absolutely horrendous support afterwards.

Strapping our belongings to a dead horse and dragging it along the road with two broken arms would have been a far easier experience.

I WILL NEVER USE OR RECOMMEND this company to anyone. Booked a slot between 8am-4pm and they turned up 8pm! Ontop of that they closed their office by 19.2hrs when it starts 8pm finish! I had trouble with the site initially on booking. The inventory is misleading so when the 2 men (who did not understand our speak English) turned up they had only put 2 items on the inventory and then refused to take the large items. It was for moving house and somehow they do not seem to understand that with moving house comes other boxes. I was under the impression that I should only list the big items. Half an hour to 45 mins later of arguing with a do called very unprofessional manager, I was then charged adfitional money for being on first floor and swapping the bunk bed for a sofa bed... DAYLIGHT ROBBERY! No apology for being late! No bring human and meeting us halfway especially after a 4hr delay! Explained that kids had been affected by their delay! To add insult to injury the van broke down and needed a jump start! Ridiculous to say the least! I hope the drivers are paid well for their hardwork! Looking at where to take my complaint further! Does anyone know? So tomorrow we have to move all boxes ourselves! #Consumer Rights #fair pay #justice # professionalism

Completely untrustworthy company. Booking made online and while I indicated that there is a lift at the delivery location they called me the day before to tell me there will be an additional cost involved because: the carrier would have to "lift" the item to put them in the lift. How ridiculous is that!?! And for a small fridge? This is a joke. Do not book online, call if you don't have another option and ask for ALL the costs involved. Who knows maybe if the driver sweats too much you will need to pay for a water bottle too.
And to top everything up on the phone the service lady was trying to convince me that I was wrong and stupid for not understanding properly the costs. I have an email that says exactly what the service includes by the way.

After months of saving money from my 8 year old son's disability benefit, we finally bought him a swing and slide set he had desperately wanted, so he could play safely at home and meet his sensory needs. Playgrounds can be difficult for him. We booked anyvan to collect this for us 8 miles away, near the rugby stadium in Twickenham. The evening before collection we were called demanding extra money to collect our 'large' item (though we gave them an accurate description during booking via the Ebay listing) and after paying which left us with no choice of pay further or lose our original payment which is wrong! Furthermore unbeknown to us on the day of collection due to a rugby match the main access to the road was closed. Despite there being secondary access the driver cancelled our collection and left to another job during our pre paid window with 3 hours remaining!. Not only did anyvan refuse a refund they expected us to pay even more to rebook. We are now in contact with trading standards. If anything the most upsetting part is that This is a company who on their website claims that they do charitable work and help those in need. However is contradictory to how they have treated us! Hypocritically keeping money from a disabled child for a service they did not provide. Trust the 1 star reviews this is a money grabbing company with poor customer service. Suspicious combination of only 5 star and 1 star reviews. All the positive 5star reviews on here have been 'invited by anyvan' to wrute a reciew. Coincidence no? Trust the latter. Please check other review sites for the real reviews of this company l e.g. GOOGLE ANYVAN REVIEWS

I booked a collection and delivery today (Sun 28th April 2019), I was apprehensive being a Sunday, but they didnt "delivery"!

Haven't hear nothing at all, I tried texting nad calling the driver which got me no where.

It wasn't until I called into AnyVan that afternoon that they were able to tell me that the driver had been issue the wrong pick up day "due to system error".

They hadn't any intention of calling me to let me know though and I only found out by waiting on hold 10 minutes to speak to someone. I tried their online support but they just told me to call as their system said it was all fine!

Members of staff have said how much they have been struggling to get drivers to work for them recently! They said they could rebook it today, but it was "unlikely to happen".

They actually lied to me on the phone originally saying its a system error, but now I have requested compensation (which they are offering NOTHING) as it was down to the drivers mistake, who will be fined instead.

They have rearranged it for tomorrow meaning myself and the person the item is being collected from will have to take the day off work.

I will update this view if the service is actually provided.
