The pros I paid for to build my furniture I order through Wayfair never showed up. I rebooked and still no show. I asked for a refund and it takes 4-5 WEEKS not days to refund my money. This is the worst company. Don't purchase it on Wayfair to have someone build your product!
Techs were exactly on time. Performed the service with a smile and worked out very bug until installation was flawless. Took extra time to make everything perfect.
I had two trees cut down
Crew was very professional, courteous
Did great job
Cleaned up all the limbs and leaves
Made sure they didn't damage anything
Can't say enough good things
Will recommend them to all my neighbors and friends
I was forced to use Angie as part of a bed install and assembly for wayfair. It was an absolute disorganized, waist of my time and money. I can't use the expletives here that I'd like to, but let's put it this way, it was a s__t show start to finish. Wayfair did refund 50% of my payment. However Angi and its off shore "customer service " was totally unable to assist in any way. Even after I filed a formal complaint and elevated the matter Angi was a failure in every way. Wayfair and Angi faiked here on multiple levels abd certainly NOT "Just what I need" as their tagine goes
I only clicked 1 star bc I had to; 0 STARS, DON'T RECOMMEND Pre-Priced Services
In short, We scheduled a pro to clean our home several days in advance. Reached out to the pro - no response; Angi assigned another pro the day before; called to ensure cleaning was scheduled; was told it was assigned and would be taken care of. On the day of the cleaning provider didn't show. Luckily was able to find a cleaner for that afternoon evening at about the same price of the Pre-priced Service + Key service, and get a full refund/ not charged. Just a complete debacle. The Pre-paid Service essentially makes Angi the middle man, and the org is completely inept at dealing with any issues.
I feel as if I am at Las Vegas losing every time I turn on my leads, they charges over a hundred bucks per lead and it's just people wanting free stuff so what I did was I got a new phone, and then I started acting like a consumer, I noticed that their ads are all misleading, and I am finding a way out.
If I can I would not choose any stars. Being scammed by like PRO that's how Angi calling people they work there. I hired house cleaning person for my son apartment. Txt Pro lol to make sure everything is as planed. She came and needed more supplies offered to get them. So I was like why not. She is trusted. Hired through Angi. Must be background check and hopefully drug test. Finally you let them In house. In your private space. So I put money on my sons Apple Pay. He transferred to her cash app from his. I have all txt between me and her. Transaction proof. Guess what? Angi PRO run away with my $100 snd never came back. I called Angi. Filed claim. Nothing yet. My son requesting refund from her and she declined.UNBELIEVABLE! Pure SCAM! Are they ever checked? Who you letting in your house. In your privacy. It's official business!
DO NOT USE ANGI! NOT TRUSTED! Doesn't matter used them through Angi or they offer you to come after you cancel Angie because they will charge you less DO NOT USE NOBODY LISTED ON ANGI. I did because I was trusted that are checked. Profile should be clean. BIG MISTAKE. First time happening to me and last time..
SCAM, Steer clear of BE Builders. Believe the reviews. I wish I had. Comms w/ Brian Seegmiller (BS) owner of BE Builders, began 7/2022 for home reno. We followed instruction from BS and worked with Architect and Structural Engineer. We reached back out to BS 7/23 and BS was happy to take the job, we met in person many times, he came by our home discussed the process in depth and stated next steps were to pay deposit once the estimate was approved and job starts 3-4 weeks post deposit. BS was easy to get a hold of, responded to communications. We received estimate 8/1, signed 8/5 and BS picked up deposit on 8/6 with the understanding work would begin within 3-4 weeks, along with coordinating pick up of check BS sent texts (prior to having my money) that his team would work on our back gate for job access and organize permits. BS quickly deposited the check 8/9. No communication for weeks, no updates, no team showing up to work on gate, no permit submission. I sent BS text on 9/5 requesting update. BS did not respond. I sent BS an email on 9/8 requesting an update, BS did not respond. Finally, 9/8/23 (over a month since depositing my check and not a word since) he responds "Im sorry I meant to text you back". There was no reference in his text about permits started, job beginning, etc. I text him back on 9/11 trying to be understanding of a personal situation he shared, but also we need a start date, he responds to my text with a vague "let me see what we can do to get things started". Followed up with BS for an update and requesting refund on 9/12/23.9/18/23,9/20/23 via text, emailed 9/20 (attempt to call but VM full). BS stole our money. He never had intent to complete a job for me. I have asked for my money back and get no response for days then vague responses "maybe in 2 weeks". I gave him a clear deadline (since he has had my money almost 2 months now) and he is claiming to be out of town, suggested Venmo, no response. At this point he has cost me so much time, using me as a bank, keeping my money as if it were a loan.
Do not get involved with these people. They send u leads ok. You and 20 other people. When u try to cancel ur account make sure to cancelation claim number or they will charge you ur renewal fee. Won't send confirmation email... complete scam. This is the only review I have ever submitted but they are that bad
I thought the idea of having an app to locate pros for projects was a good convenient idea…… BIG MISTAKE! Only thing I want was my shutters on my house painted(8 to be exact) I received how much the job would cost me & the amount of time it would take. Fair price, my house is only 4 yrs old so the shutters are in relatively good shape. The first pro reached out to me and asked if she would be painting my whole house & I told her no & what the project consisted of. She responds by telling me that the job was worth more that what I was paying & I told her in didn't make up the price & if she didn't want to do the job she could decline. Not only did she tell me that she declined but that the job would sit a long time before someone would accept it. On to the next pro who didn't show up or contact me to say he wouldn't be there. 3rd pro did show up but stated that the job was gonna take longer that the time allowed and I could cancel & book directly through him for MORE MONEY! Bottom line is these so called pros are basically using Anji as a platform to get their business noticed instead of doing the job you booked them to do! I will NEVER do business with Anji again!
Brandon Clark, owner of Plant Marks the Pot, provided an estimate within one day of calling him. He gave a detailed estimate with great ideas for stone, mulch, and, most importantly, for types of shade perennials that would be best for our project.
He started work even sooner than he thought he could and finished the job within four days.
The result is such a huge improvement in our front yard. It's beautiful now! Many neighbors have stopped to compliment the look.
I would highly recommend Brandon and Plant Marks the Pot.
Angi does not screen all companies they refer to you. Example is TONA Services in Orlando. TONA is a scam company doing at best shoddy work. They look for ways to get out of completing a job. ANGI has a lack of review on companies like TONA
Angi's is a fraud both ways. When my husband signed up he received 10 links to send to friends and family to write fake positive reviews. Now that he is on, it's been 2 weeks and he has not made a penny. He paid $450 a month for leads. All the leads led to nothing. It's a yearly contract and we can't get out of it. Currently disputing with cc company. Stay away!
The job was scheduled twice before workers showed up.he did call for money a couple times.i felt that if I paid anything I would definitely not see them again. He was very rude intimidating and sloppy. I have cement boot prints from gate to end of driveway. The original job was poured incorrectly.Profesional is an absolute joke.they have a resolution department. After 5 times of calling I finally got an answer to the problem was the rep hung up on me.
I recieved a call and pressured into advertising with them. I wanted to research before agreeing because it seemed to good to be true but decided to try them. I asked several times if there's a cancelation fee but could not get a straight answer. Once I paid I had to find previous customers to leave me positive reviews.
Thats a red flag because there's 1 star companies getting people to leave 5 star reviews.
They also told me that i will have direct leads to my small business. Thats false also. The customer has several businesses to chose from so thats no a direct lead to my company. You will get charged for a lead anytime someone contacts you. Over 90% of the time you will never get a response.
When I called to cancel I was told there's a $1,700 fee even though I asked several times before I signed up and couldn't get them to admit there's a cancelation fee. I dont see how anyone who works there can sleep at night knowing that they are lying and scamming money from small businesses.
I have an appointment with an attorney this Friday. If anyone is experiencing the same thing please contact me. *******@yahoo.com
Felisto Lorio, his son Joseph, and Bart provided absolutely wonderful dry wall repair and painting in my house over a period of three days! These gentlemen are without a doubt artists of their trade! I was more than impressed with their work and asked for business cards to hand out in the event that I have the opportunity to pass on possible future work to others. I will definitley call them again if needed! Thank you, Angi, for referring them to me! Tom Miller
Waste of money. They won't even give you a credit forn the fake leads they send you. Most leads are people testing waters.
When I first went on Anji, they wanted me to sign up for a date for the repair, and even a time! What I was looking for was a list of professionals who could do the job and give me an estimate. I left the computer for 24 hours. When I came back, Anji gave me a list of guys and their approximate prices. They would contact me for a more firm estimate. On the list, the only name I felt secure with, was Jeff, although I asked all four for quotes. One vendor offered me a real deal! I would do the repair myself with them guiding me virtually. (Are you kidding?) (I should authorize free SMS texting.)
(NO!)
Jeff gave me the best estimate to come out and see the job. When he came, he was able to complete the job in a couple of hours! Good guy! Experienced! Knows what he is doing! I highly recommend him!
I had a plumbing emergency and it seemed a good option. So I did find a plumber but when I asked for additional work/repair it would've been four times the normal amount.
Since then I am getting Angie's advertisements on hourly basis! I blocked it everywhere but the emails keep coming three or four daily! How annoying! I will never use Angie's list again!
Answer: You'll have to contact the website directly. They don't monitor the Sitejabber website. Try to see if you can get them to delete your profile. If not, I would contact the Better Business Bureau or the Attorney General's office or another state law enforcement office in your state. This sounds like fraud to me (but, I'm not a lawyer).
