I purchased an item by mistake and tried to cancel it right away. The next day I got an email saying it was already shipped and it could not be cancelled. Really? I cancelled it right away! Once I received the package, I returned it that day. Even though this Asian company confirmed the return, I still as of this day have not received a penny. That was in July 2018. Amazon says they contacted the seller, the seller says they are looking into it. Its the same thing over and over again with no results. This has been going on for almost 6 months. I urge everyone to be careful of where there item is coming from and check their background and rating. I've been am Amazon customer for years with a Prime membership. I will no longer buy anything from Amazon again for fear of being ripped off again.
Amazon is simply the best online store there is. Shipping is superb. Gets to you fast and hardly ever makes a mistake. When it does, it corrects with no questions asked. Returns are easy. You know why? They trust you, or they make it seem like they do. Selection? They've got it all. Pricing is competitive. Amazon can't be touched in almost every category. Simply the best. Drop the mic.
I have purchased many things on Amazon with no problems so far, my partner uses it almost daily and she has always had good customer service when there have been issues. I tried selling on Amazon and found it difficult to understand, I have been selling on eBay for years, don't like them but easy to use. You will find products cheaper outside Amazon, I often find the products then search the business seller name and use their website, that way you are supporting the business directly instead of huge platforms that charge sellers huge fees.

Let me start with just one word, Amazon. You got it. As a lot of you know Amazon/Kindle finally took over everything at Createspace and left a lot of us flapping in the wind. I spent about an hour and a half today trying to find how to get to where I could create an author's profile page and finally put in a request for them to call me. After taking almost an hour to call me back and then automatically putting on hold the minute I picked up and leaving me there got over thirty minutes I finally got a live body. In the meantime,
I managed to dig deep enough to find where you had to go to get to the spot where you could create the author's page and I no longer needed the young woman who answered the phone.
Yes, I was angry and yes, I had a few choice words, but they weren't directed at this super sweet and kind young woman. Believe me she was. She's been getting a lot of angry customers trying to figure stuff out on Amazon of late and she was totally understanding and compassionate. After I got off the phone with this young lady I received a request for feedback. They got it too. It went as follows:
Do you think you can make this a little more complicated? I think if you try even a little bit you can find a way. If you're going to be bad at something you should do your absolute worse to make it happen. You're getting there but you still need a little more practice and I think you'll have it down pat. Yes, I'm mad. Finding where to go to do an author's page was harder than searching for diamonds, yes I have done that, then you make the process as problematic as you possibly can. I honestly wish I could find something nice to say about anything you do but so far wait, yes, I can find something nice to say. I spoke to a young lady on the phone today from Amazon about the problems I was having and she was so very supper sweet and understanding. I hate I can't remember her name but whoever she is, right now she may be the only good thing going for you.

Can you guess what happened next? You got it, an email. Now that was a sight to see or in this case to read. If you have any doubt about how Amazon feels about you, I can assure you that what I'm about to add to this little rant will put any doubts totally out of your head. This was their response:

Notice the part about feedback? They asked me to send feedback but if I have any questions or concerns contact them just not about feedback. Seriously? Right now, I'm having a real hard time not telling them what they can do with themselves and the horse they rode in on. So, like I said if you hand even the slightest hope that Amazon gives one tiny, little, minute concern for you this should put that to rest for good.

Amazon is innovation at its best. The product line is expansive and the customer service is excellent. Amazon has definitely simplified my life.
I never liked to "shop", but if course had to for necessities and gifts and such. Amazon lets me get my buying done without the crowds and waste of time. It
I signed up for Amazon Prime thinking the many extra services would be worth the cost. Turns out you get a watered down version of the "real" services. Prime books is not Kindle Unlimited. Prime music is a half version of Amazon's full music service. Both requiring additional sign ups and monthly fees to get the best experience. Okay that was probably in the fine print although still disappointing.
I received an email promising a $15 promo if I make a $30+ purchase. Fantastic because I could use a few things Santa forgot. After putting some things in my cart and proceeding to checkout, no promo. Reread the fine print. Purchase must be made on mobile app, check; purchase must be sold by and distributed from Amazon... oops. So back to the shopping cart, remove that, add this, check and check. Proceed but no promo. Hunt for code in fine print but nothing. Search a bit online was no help. *sigh* customer service time. I initiated a chat and things were looking good. Rep said she needed a copy of the email AMAZON sent me... um ok so I forwarded it. Rep confirmed the promo should have applied and went to talk to her Lead. Came back and asked if the order was placed on the app. I would think they could tell but I confirmed anyway. Back to Lead. Asked if products were sold and distributed by Amazon. Again, this is AMAZON'S app so they would know better than I would but I confirmed. Back to Lead. Offered a $5 courtesy promo rather than fix the problem. My response was to request my Prime membership be cancelled. Rather than attempting to keep my business and make the customer happy, she cheerfully cancelled my membership.
So no $30+ purchase, no $119 membership and future purchases, one very grumpy customer all to save the $10 ($15-5) they had offered me in the email.
My advice don't bother with Amazon Prime. If you can get the best price there, take advantage of the regular free shipping and for other services use one of the better rated ones available for music or books or video.
My Amazon account was hacked and Amazon closed my account but they also have not allowed access to my over $11,000 in video and audio licensing (movies, audio, and kindle books) in my new account. They said this is their policy.
I am SHOCKED at their audacity in just stealing over $11,000 from me and my family.
SHAME ON YOU AMAZON.

Not going to make this review long. Items have come damaged (more than several). Items not received within the time that they were promised. Items that were pre-ordered never showed up and were canceled. Packages being left on my garbage can. Everything is in Chinese or Chinese sold. Done with Amazon.
I have been an Amazon prime member for about 2 or 3 years paying over 100$ a yr. For free two day shipping. Just tried to order a PRIME product that ships from the Amazon warehouse expecting it to arrive in two days. Not the case! Today is Dec. 19th and product is to to arrive Dec. 26th. Thought I should have it in two days seeing as I pay for Prime and it said two day shipping at checkout but also said arrives after Xmas Dec 26th. Spoke with a supervisor and she informed me the two day Prime shipping guarantee is from the day it is shipped and does not include the order filling process. Could possibly take much longer than two days. She stated the guarantee is for two days from shipping date not order date. I think folks should be aware of this Prime policy if they are not already.
I've been regularly ordering from Amazon for at least the last 15 years and have NEVER had a bad experience with them. I think that speaks volumes. I've ordered so many things from them over the years and they have never gotten any of my orders wrong. There have been one or two times when my Prime orders arrived a day later than they were supposed to - but honestly those times are so few and far in between and I really don't care especially considering how much they go out of their way to make things easier for us.
Also, the price matching is great. I'm always able to get things on Amazon for the same or a cheaper price than at other sites, or in store.

Hey I bought a paint set and a set of lipstick from Amazon, It was up to the mark and every thing was great, I will definitely recommend this site my friends. I am giving it 4 stars out of 5 stars because the shipment was late 2 days. I dont know why. But over all I am happy.
Amazon is reliable & customer service oriented. Every time I order I know Is will get what I ordered in a timely fashion and if there is any issue they stand behind their customers. Prime is well worth the yearly fee. More online business should model their service and quality after Amazon. They are truely awesome
I have placed three orders with Amazon, all three of them delivered on time and great customer services when I contacted them for the return of one. What I like the most is the convenience they bring in providing the best products out there with best and affordable prices. I would recommend Amazon to others.
I got so tired of so many e-mails stating that my order had arrived when I didn't order anything. I didn't want to crack their eggs, do a survey, or anything else. I tried to stop the e-mails from coming, tried each and everything they told me to do, but e-mails keep coming. It is awesome because the shipping was free, and it arrived early. I like using Amazon since there is a large selection of goods. The items I bought here are almost the same as advertised. The shipping time is accurate. The return and refund process is not hard. I once ordered a product that did not meet my expectations and I contacted the seller. She immediately told me how to return the product. She gave me a full refund after she received the goods. Will continue buying here! However I must be clear, Amazon can't help if the company gives you something bad quality, but they can refund it. It's a pretty awesome website, however some of the companies that sell on there aren't as awesome

Answer: Try Walmart! They deliver food too, and they accept EBT as well. I am switching to Walmart now because I ordered food from Amazon Fresh on 4 different occasions, and never received my groceries. I am disabled and I live alone, so I need delivery service to be reliable and dependable. Clearly, Amazon Fresh is neither reliable nor dependable, which sucks.

Answer: This problem began when Amazon Market Place started up and when I saw how bad it was with sellers selling at 3 to 4 times the full retail price at other online stores, it was a hint for me to stop supporting Amazon Market Place. If its sold by Amazon, I might buy it but I do my utmost to find a lower price so I don't have to buy it from Amazon. More often than not Bestbuy or Staples has it for the same or lower price. Bought an Asus RT AC 5300 from Bestbuy for 500 Canadian and it doesn't sell for less at Amazon. Returns are no hassle 30 day returns and no shipping just take it to a local retail store and that saves the wrapping and shipping.
