I ordered a solar panel on the 8 Nov. I got an email that I would get it between the 10 and the 15 Nov. I called on the 14 as the item was not even shipped yet and was told I would have it the next day, I did not believe that. On the 15 I get an email the item will be delivered on the 19 Nov and it still had not ship. It is highly unacceptable. I needed this item fast. They are getting worst, they representative barely speak english. I will be looking somewhere else to shop.

The wait for delivery is at least one month even for amazon prime. Prices are multiplied sometimes by 4 folds

My deliveries barely ever get to my place without hassle. It is mostly 2 delivery companies, but Amazon doesn't care to help. They say it is automatic chosen and can't help.

Delivery drop off

Before Amazon hired telecom to deliver packages, they had them delivered from people in the community which respected my request to receive a phone call once at the door so to tell them where to stash it out of view.
Telecom will not. Even before the pandemic they would drop it at the door and run.
Although I still feel the need to use Amazon out of convenience I will limit this to a minimum.

Not honest service

Very bad service, very disappointed, I made the order on last Friday in the promise to be received on Monday. On Monday the system shows it is undeliverable, after few chat with the customer service they told me it is been lost. I had to cancel and re order again to be deliver on Friday. Was waiting the whole day to receive the order, I contacted the customer service after 5 transfers between different customer service finally they said it is not available in the nearby store, they will bring it from other store, I offered to pick it up by myself and they refused. Then they said I will received in the same day, was waiting the whole day at home while the system shows that I will received before 9pm. At 9pm exactly the system shows it is delivered but I did not receive anything. I contacted the customer service for the million times and after few transfers they told me I will receive it within 24 hours! Really very disappointed

Ordered items that were to be delivered next day. 4 items and it looks like everything being sent separately. All items were ordered at the same time. Didn't realize till I read reviews that items come from China and repackaged in Canada. Very bad customer service.

I have been an amazon customerfor many years now, and there is one major issue thatkeeps popping up with EVERY order. Excessive waste in packaging and delivery!
Items are always shipped in excessively large boxes and so called add on items are shipped seperately from the rest of your order. Last week i ordered a humidifier that was packaged in four (yes 4) nestled boxes and about 20 of those air filledbags.
In a time when we are supposed to bereducing waste, amazon goes out of their way to create excess.

I have amazon prime and ordered an item on monday. I was told at the checkout that for prime members the delivery date with free shipping would be Monday, BUT... if I wanted to pay an additional &3.99 it would give me 2-3 day shipping. So, today was the 3rd day, and my package wasn't there. So I checked the tracking number on Canada post. It told me that a shipping label had been registered to the tracking number, but they hadn't received the parcel yet. So I contacted amazon. When I tried to talk to the woman on the phone to explain the problem, she started talking over me, telling me that I had been informed that it wouldn't be arriving until next week when I ordered. I kept trying to explain that when I ordered the site promised me delivery on Wednesday or Thursday if I chose priority shipping. She kept talking over me as I told her this, telling me I was wrong, even when I asked "if it was scheduled to come Monday with my prime free shipping, then why would I pay an extra 4 bucks to get it on Monday?" She didn't have an answer for that and then informed me that she could only give me a refund on a gift card. I tried to tell her that I wanted my money back the way I paid, I didn't want a gift card. She kept talking over me loudly and refusing to listen to anything I said. When I finally asked if I could speak to someone else, because I was tired of her talking over me and being rude, she informed me that I had to have a know the name of who I wanted to speak to. I tried to explain that I don't know the names of the people who work at amazon, and that I would just like to speak to someone else because I felt she was being very rude and I was starting to get frustrated. She then put me on hold.

I sat on hold for an hour before I gave up and just requested another call back on the site. Definitely wouldn't recommend them.

These lamps have been great. Stores do not sell the cool white 4000K or better only the warm (yellow) ones. So I tried on line. Other ones flickered and died in the first week. These have been great with the dimmer switch.

If your account is hacked - good luck trying to sort it out with support - the front line cannot deal with "Account specialist" - who in my experience are inadequate, they cannot communicate and no one can contact these people. Never ever park a credit card on Amazon - delete it after every transaction. Wasted 18 phone calls and about 4 hours trying to do the proper thing and help fix the hack - next time I will just contact the credit card company and reject the charge.

Customer support almost non-existent! First time shopping at Amazon, bought fire stick. Firestick was declared on shippable, when I contacted customer support, first customer support couldn't find the issue then the product was was declared shipped but was still in the warehouse. Customer support couldn't give me any reason why just giving me a total run around. Fun customer support was supposed to get in touch with me within 24 hours but I receive no email. Didn't receive what I thought was an offer from Amazon, contacted customer support to find out what was going on. Talk to one person was totally clueless, got transferred to another person was even more clueless! Problem never resolved ended up cancelling order, the time I wasted with customer service was worth 4 times what the product was. I am surprised that Amazon is still in business with this type of customer service, unless the people who normally shop online don't really care about customer service. I would get Amazon a -5 if I possibly could! For myself I'll never shop Amazon again, I don't need that type of aggravation. The overall impression I got its they really don't care about their customers as long as they sell their product.

Scam artists

So I ordered something and cancelled it right away because I needed it faster. Tried reordering it within 2 seconds and the total price was DOUBLE. So under the product it was the same price as originally purchased... but in cart it was double...
This is the 3rd time this has happened to me... spoke to customer service and they said there is nothing they can do about it even though the product price and the cart price were two different prices. The do this on purpose people! Disgusting bastards. Will be pulling my prime membership since I've had from day one... one of their biggest supporters since the beginning but not anymore

I have been A Amazon customer since 2007 on. Ca and since 2004 on Amazon.com
And a prime member for over 4 years.
An Item I ordered was not received.
3 days passed the guaranteed delivery date.
I called Amazon customer service.
A supervise tells me she is going to give me a free replacement.
I asked her how is it free. I paid for it when I ordered the item. It is not my fault Amazon forget to send it to the currier( intel currier service) company based in Canada.
Upon calling the carrier it was conformed that Amazon never sent them my package.
Yet this women supervisor wants to maintain it's a free replacement.
This is the very first time I came across Amazon customer service agent that was not really a very good customer service agent.
Very disappointed.

Two weeks in a row they have misdirected our packages to other homes. One home owner was going to keep it, the other home owner called us and asked if we wanted our package. She advised us that they contact amazon.ca customer service and that they told her to keep our package. Dynamex and Intellcom are two of the worst shipping companies and yet Amazon insists on using them. We refunded the prime. May as well pay to have it shipped via Canada post and avoid their one or two day shipping which doesn't seem to be a good deal, especially if your packages are being misdirected. This is not just twice that this has happened, but after two weeks in a row we were fed up.

I buy almost everything on there and I like the fact we never have to pay for returns. They ship fast, you have to do your homeworks and read the critics for the product you want but the chances of getting a good quality value is outstanding. I totally recommend but one has to do his homeworks to read reviews and buy from a source who sold many items like the one you're looking for.
