This review is about the Seller Support Service. I sent a category approval request many times and provided all documents they asked me for. I even called them many times and the last time I spoked with an agent, he told me that my request will be reset because my documents and photos obviously met their requirements. However, I finally got an other email that said that it doesn't. I tried one more time and answered by email to the agent and got the exact same negative answer then in previous emails, like if I was talking with a robot.
I bought an article and after 2 months the seller sent me a message that my item was UNDELIVARABLE but didn't refund my payment. It was seller's mistake. I tried to send a claim to Amazon but I couldn't. Find any way to contact them. Very frustrating
I originally got the prime membership for the free shipping. Well, it turned out that the 'free' shipping constantly did not apply to all but one purchase. I cancelled the membership on Amazon website, but still was charged automatically when next yearly time arrived in March 2020. I cancelled it again, and was yet again charged automatically in March 2021. No place to communicate with 'customer service' on Amazon website. (because they lack customer service) I have completely stopped using Amazon for over a year, for good. Terry.
My account was put on hold when I tried to change delivery location. I have since tried to get it corrected. CS can't help but can't delete or help with account. I am forever frozen and can't create a new one.

The CSR reps are indian or muslims from the area, they provide bad service because most of them HATE US. Instead of offering a refund or listening to you, they cut you off and leave the chat, basically a big F* you to western clients. They have ZERO concern for providing clients with a good experience. They will sell you a defective product knowingly and then hassle you to return it instead of accepting a screenshot that shows the table is useless. Seriously Ive spent approx 5000-8000$ this year and thats how you treat your customer?

Its incredible how incompetent or maybe its how powerless the customer service representatives are. These are clearly people who hate there jobs and couldn't care less about the organisation. They have no support from management to deal with customers and would rather ignore fixing something than escalating an issue. I ordered a mattress that ships compressed in a box, well Amazon missed the guaranteed delivery date provided when the order was placed. Because they missed it I wont be able to open the mattress up within the recommended timeline from the manufacture. Remember this is because Amazon missed the guaranteed delivery date. They would rather have me ship it back than to compensate me for the inconvenience that I will have to open the mattress now and transport it later to the trailer already out of the box, which will be very inconvenient but not impossible. So now the mattress will be shipped back and it will be way beyond the date where the manufacture says the mattress needs to come out of the box. So will they destroy the mattress which according to the manufacturer is what should happen or will they ship it to some poor shopper out there who thinks they'll be getting a new mattress... what do you think? I asked the customer service representative on the phone and he said I'm not sure, which means it could be shipped to someone else. They never even asked me how much of a discount would it take for me to just keep it as is... All I can say is good luck Amazon, you might think you're to big to fail... that's what Nortel used to say. Keep doing what you're doing and one day you'll get some competition and it will be to late... the damage will have been done. Customer service is something you improve on not when you're in trouble but when things are going great.

AMAZON.CA NEED TO AMEND THEIR WEBSITE TO CLEARLY STATE IF A PRODUCT CAN OR CANNOT BE RETURNED. UNFORTUNATELY I AM A SENIOR, SLIGHTLY TECHNICALLY CHALLENGED AND GOT BURNED. APPARENTLY IF IT IS SHIPPED FROM A PARTY OTHER THAN AMAZON - YOU CANNOT RETURN THE ITEM.
Guess when you use a gift card and your order is more than the gift card they will charge you twice and charge your credit card for the amount of the gift card. Call them and their chat is usless as no one can get their story straight. They keep saying no they never charged my credit card. When I have it right on my statement it wa a charged twice.
They promise the 2 day Prime Delivery by 10 pm (which is far too late for my house, but it ok because it NEVER comes! It arrives 3 or 4 days later, if you are lucky.

On apr 2,2021 Amazon took prime membership fee $8.95 without my consent - so far I remember I did not give my approval for this sevice.
Long story short, after errors on their part, I received a refund, I contacted their customer service, and the agent told me to "keep the refund and the item compliments of Amazon".
A month later they charged me the full price of the item, and refuse to honour their staffs agreement or offer any notable compensation
I've spent over 5 hours on the phone this week to resolve nothing. The last supervisor I spoke to just called me a liar. Told me I hadn't been on the phone with them. Too bad I have records of all calls. I've spoke to every department they have and yet still can't access my deliveries from the hub locker and they refuse to offer me a refund. I couldn't be less impressed with this experience. Save yourself the headaches and hassles and shop elsewhere. Absurd doesn't even being to describe my experience with Amazon. Brutal would be an understatement!
The Scotts Turf Builder EdgeGuard Mini Broadcast Spreader sells for $39.98 at Home Depot Canada and yet Amazon has the very same product listed for $101.74. Shame on you Amazon for price gouging!

I purchased a bathroom fan and my contractor indicated that we didn't need it so I contacted Amazon to have it returned. They agree to allow me to return it but I would need to pay a $50 restocking fee due to it being returned after the designated return date. I asked how is it different having to restock the item at a later date - isnt it the same at any point. I spoke to customer service and told them that should I have bought it from Home Depot I wouldn't have had any problem returning it and Home Depot has never charged a restocking fee. The customer service person at Amazon suggested I shop at Home Depot and I think that is good advice. Small wonder Amazon makes billions with every day customer gouging.

AS a happy regular Amazon customer for many orders I elected to try the Promotional "Prime" upgrade. I was happily surprised at the elevated customer service and delivery options and associated cost and speed of delivery. I am always amazed at how customer service goes the "extra mile" for their customers and how cost justifiable it is. I buy frequently and return occasionally and have never been been disappointed.
Ordered an echo dot at stated price. Offer popped up for free smart bulb with purchase. Took offer. Paid $6.99 extra for expedited shipping. Confirmed arrival date. Placed order and arrival date for dot changed TO OVER A WEEK LATER. Immediately tried to cancel. It would not allow me to. In doing so noticed I had been CHARGED for my ‘free' light bulb, and the actual price of the dot was much less than stated. Called Amazon. Got hung up on. Called back she said she would try to expedite and I would hear within 24 hours. She also confirmed the echo dot should be the lower price. Heard nothing back. Called back 30+ hours later and now they say they can't cancel an order THAT WONT EVEN ARRIVE FOR A WEEK! I go back online and I can order the EXACT same product and have it arrive in three days - four whole days sooner than the one I paid extra to get shipped expedited
And they clearly don't care about the false advertising. Have screenshots of all. Sad that they can get away with misrepresentation that is that blatant.
