Beware of fraud
April 25, 2022

I've had fraud issues with a woman using my address. Today, an All-State offer came with this woman's name. I called the agent, Chris Okeleye, attempting to explain the situation, but he refused to listen to me and started screaming at me almost immediately. He claimed her name with my address showed up on a list he bought. That would only happen if there's some fraud this woman is committing Obviously, he's either too stupid to understand my request or he's in on the scam. Either way, I would stay away from an idiot or con artist.

Bunch of liars
April 25, 2022

Got mold in my apartment due to negligence of the property management company, and mold ended up all throughout my HVAC system. Did everything I was supposed to and am now in a battle with them over the improper handling of the situation, called allstate as a last ditch effort to not go bankrupt, and was told my policy covered me in this situation! I was ecstatic! I was also lied to, by 3 different representatives. Not only did they only boost my morale, it was devastating when he told me im alone. In good hands my butt.

No Good Hands Here
April 22, 2022

The last thing you're in with All State is "Good Hands". They run you around the Mulberry bush, to try to get out of a settlement. No one is on the same page, and their management team is very rude, and argumentive. You could not pay me, to have them as an insurance carrier... what a nightmare.

Scammers
April 20, 2022

Started off with a great 6 month deal for my car insurance in January. Now it's April and the company decided to add my brother and sister onto my policy without my knowledge of sending any mail, text or notification UNTIL days before they were going to take $850 from my bank account. I explained to multiple people I talked to that I was never informed of this change and I never added them. They have their own insurance and vehicles. Allstate said there was nothing they could do but that I could remove them by putting in their insurance info, so I did. This wasn't good enough. Had to send more document proof and take the high road with this process and told me it would take days. I canceled my policy after this and went with another insurance company because of how unhelpful most people were or couldn't explain to me why I was not informed of this change or why they were added in the first place! The worst is that I was told I owed money. Currently fighting this dispute as the company says I owe $200 yet really my brother and sister are on there own insurance and I should be getting refunded the 3 months of insurance I won't be using I originally paid for. They are very sneaky!

Failed warranty
April 15, 2022

I purchased a refurbished desktop with an Allstate extended warranty. Its had hard drive failure from day one but we could use it by restarting 10 times a day. Since it was refurbished I thought I needed to use the Allstate protection plan. They have a 30 day window before coverage begins. Now Newegg wont take it back since it's been over 30 days and Allstate won't cover it saying it was a "preexisting Condition". Newegg has referred me to a "seller" twice and the seller claims it was not thier sale. Now I have a $300 brick with a $50 extended ""nothing" warranty. How can a product failure be a preexisting condition?

Pathetic service. 4+ hours of phone calls, chats, emails and no one accepts responsibility. For a small business technophile with 5 desktops and innumerable "gadgets" I will NEVER use this platform again.

I luckily do not have auto insurance from allstate. But my car was hit at stop sign by one who had allstate insurance. I need to be reimbursed for car rental for 26days. I am running from pillar to post since 2/20/22. No one is able to give a time frame when I would be reimbursed. They keep on telling that my claim is with claim adjuster.

I was calling to get my monthly statement and Nancy Kunes pick up the phone and I was telling her about the incident about the mileages they were charging more because I had put 4,000 miles on a car that I am not driving. And she told I heard everything about this I am tired of helping you out, the girls that did this is no longer with the company. She was loud and rude to me for no reason. She didn't let me talk. I was calling to get my statement and I decide to cancel my insurance right there and then. Nancy has no class what so ever.

After having a pickup truck and utility trailer insured for 5+ years with Allstate with no at fault claims they decided to terminate my policy.
And yes wanted to terminate in the middle of my work day 50km from home.
If zero rating was an option they'd have it.

Worst insurance! Don't consider getting insurance from them. I guess you get what you paid for. They're rip off.
I've always been a careful, law abiding driver. However, accidents do happen. This 02/22 they didn't allow my insurance to get renewed and is terminating my policy.
So I tried to do an online quote hoping I might get a new insurance from them. They took my premium payment, but towards the end a message that follows "Unfortunately, we won't be able to give you policy at this time." I waited 3-7 days for them to refund me but they didn't. So I called AS customer service, and the local agent's answer was just "I don't know." They employ incompetent people. They cannot help me so I contacted the customer service of the credit card I used, and immediately I got my refund. However, few days later, I received a letter that I'm getting charged $55 for canceling.
Like why am I getting charged $55 when my insurance got terminated and not allowed to renew?
Plus they're giving me a temporary policy that is expiring until April. WTF.
Anyway, the reason for the termination of my policy is due to drivers who caused accident to me. First was a hit and run. Second was a driver getting impatient with the traffic in Walmart parking and backing up and hit me. I told the customer service that those incidents weren't my fault but responded to me that "even though it's not your fault. You're involved in too much accident in one year."

One star is too much
February 3, 2022

The Melissa Andrews office is the worst experience ever, bunch of thieves, when I called to switch my home insurance I told them I was paying $1,600 with my previous and was looking to save, well once they got me in they just got me at $3,300, seriously, I stayed only because I was in the process of selling the home and for them now send me a collection letter saying I owe $553, after I closed on my house, they never cover anything, over charge and charge again after I'm done with them. Stay away from them.

One of the worst companies in southwest Florida. I've had auto insurance for 55 years and have never dealt with such a crooked company.
Recently divorced and my X Completely removed his vehicle and name from the policy. I was the policy Sole owner with only one vehicle registered to my Florida home. Since I drive very few miles, I found a better quote from another company and decided to cancel the Allstate policy. Instead of sending the refund to the address on file and the owner of the vehicle insured, they issued a check to my Xhusband who no longer had anything to do with the policy. It's like asking for auto insurance two days after an accident. I am currently filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau as this practice should be illegal. I do not recommend this company at all. Beware!

***. Not even accredited with the BBB.

THE WORST INSURANCE EVER!
January 15, 2022

0 star if I could. On july 29 my car was rear ended by a guy that was insured by Allstate. After giving me the run around for a month they finally asked me to send my car to get repaired. They gave the repair company a a run around cause they didn't want to pay them. Today keep in mind it's January 14 2021 I get a call from Alexander Garcia telling me that I needed to pay $616 for the labor of my car being fix and that I needed to pick it up today if not they are not gonna pay for the rental because my car is ready and I need to come up with $616 to pay for my car being repaired even tho it was their client fault. I contacted the manager Bryan king left him a message but has not reply back. So Bryan if you reading this I need you to call me ASAP to resolve this matter. Because I am not liable for a payment that clearly Allstate or your Client did.

A lady with Allstate insurance ran a red light and my truck that had a green light hit her car on the side. There are two witnesses that say she ran the red light. She also admitted to the police she ran the light. The police put in the report she was at fault. However Allstate is saying that they will only cover 80% and we are responsible for 20%. They are looking for a way out of being responsible for their clients that break the law.

Unethical Business
December 31, 2021

I requested an insurance quote from Allstate. I was quoted a rate of $697 for 6 months for insurance coverage for 1 vehicle. The quote was high but I agreed and allowed Allstate to cover my vehicle. That day I paid an initial fee of $188, and was told I would pay $149 for the next 5 months. The newly insured vehicle stayed parked for the entire month because I was out of town for work. I received a call from Allstate 3 weeks after starting insurance coverage. The rep told me I owed an additional $210. This was on top of the $188 I had already paid. I followed up with Allstate a few days later to understand why I was being charged extremely more than I was quoted, and had agreed to pay, for a vehicle that I had not even driven. The rep told me she would send the issue to the right department, and it would be resolved. The issue was never resolved.
I called Allstate again to make sure the issue was resolved. I spoke to 3 reps, and 1 of the reps yelled at me, and was extremely rude to me.
Do not trust Allstate with your insurance coverage. They were very unethical, and had no integrity in their business, as they provided me a quoted rate, and tried to charge me way more than quoted. They provided horrible customer service.

Awful
November 11, 2021

The agent didn't want a picture. He didn't want names or phone numbers, however, he did take the time to insinuate that everyone he didn't talk to was lying including a Lieutenant colonel who is now deployed. At that point I was done with them. I washed my hands of their mess and paid out of pocket
