I was rear ended by an allstate customer on 6/19 and Had to go through my insurance to get a rental or i wouldve been with out a car until the claimed liability when I called to see if they could pick up my rental because I had exhausted the 30 days through my insurance they stated they dont do direct pay and would reimburse me after the claim was done. I have already had to pay $321 for one week and my car isnt expected to be done until 8/12 at the earliest which i cant afford to pay out of pocket for nor should I have to being the accident was not my fault.
If there was a zero rating, I would choose it. No customer service that I received was satisfying. Everyone was rude. Every time I requested road assistance, I ended up calling others. They are no help at all and have no empathy for their customers at all! Paying for $#*!!
I had wind damage tomy roof this winter i submitted a claim to allstate insurance and all they would allow me is 400 dollars to replace the missing shingles in 8 different places, believe me your not in good hands with this company. I would not recommend allstate to anyone. Also 2 month feedback time.
I have three policies with Allstate and have been with them over 30 years and have road side assistance also with them. Every experience with them was horrible. Why do I stay with them? I am 83 years old and have a grandfathers auto policy with them. Pretty much means no matter what, they cannot drop me. Please don't get stuck with them like I did. Get an insurance company that is there for you when you need them. Also their customer service is atrocious.
I called to inquire and ask questions because I had a leak in my home that destroyed some of my furniture I never put the claim in, and i never got a claim number because after talking to them I figured it wouldn't be worth it. Yesterdsy I switched to another insurance company because they went up 30 dollars because I moved around the corner they said the area I live in has a lot of accidents anyways while getting a new quote I found out that they put in a claim on their own for the furniture now my history shows that I have a claim on renters insurance even though it says zero was paid out it's still is an issue to have that on my history
Been with Allstate for 17+ years, numerous vehicles, home, and umbrella liability. They sure are fast to take your money but good luck if you ever actually need them. One of our vehicles got totaled and it took OVER A MONTH for them to pay our claim. We started calling everyone involved twice a day to complain... that is, once we got past the phone bots and got numbers for actual people. Our so-called agent/agency did NOTHING. I learned so much about car insurance (!) because I got to do everything myself! Customer loyalty or longevity means nothing to them, either. Stay away. Just stay away. An accident is traumatic enough without having to do everyone's job for them and hound them to pay a legitimate claim. Buh-bye, Allstate. I'd give zero stars if I could.
A very traditional insurance including service and attitude. I was involuntarily made customer of Allstate after a motorist missed my vehicle in the rearview mirror in a parking lot. Facing Allstates policy of "no third party involvement" precluded my own insurance from assisting and I had to face Allstate myself. Repair of my vehicle was easily assigned to a body shop but obtaining a rental car and getting reimbursed (which is unexpected) was intentionally made difficult. Several phone calls including the rental car location directly speaking to Allstate were needed to convince representatives to take responsibility for the claim. The "Rental Vehicle Guidelines" I received were useless when intending to rent a car for the rate that Allstate asserts is coordinated with rental car businesses. The effort to deceive customers with hopes to save money is VERY DISSAPOINTING to say the least.
Complete and udder disgust with this office. I have been with Allstate a long time, and often recommended this office, but I will no longer do this. My son who DOESN'T DRIVE yet, and just got his permit, this office is attempting to force me to pay insurance for someone that DOESN'T DRIVE YET! Total idiots! I will add him when he is done with driver's education and is actually driving! Beware... if you have a teen in your house they are waiting to rip you off! HORRIBLE!
I understand that this company is doing their job I did not know that you have to call to do a cancelation on your insurance since I had paid my months in advance I didn't think I had to the lady that I talked to she said that I had money coming back to me and I told her I did not want to just leave it alone and that was that but then I get this letter stating that I owe him $88 8 sense because they're taking it as mean not giving them a right cancelation Call I don't think the way the world is right now with high prices they should have done this especially me been a customer that always paid on time and the reason that I left them is because I was paying $77 from there they jump to $98 I asked them why and I did not like the response so the response so therefore I just went with farmers It's like them they want for you to call to cancel OK I understand but they could have called me and tell me that they were going up on my policy instead of instead of just sending me an amount that was so ridiculous high for just or just liability on an old car and I never once had an accident I don't even drive 10 miles I am sick I am going to the hospital for surgeries I'll be trying to save my money for this surgery and for them to do this was uncalled for
I had a total loss accident on June 4 2022 and the adjustor Gary Lockard lied to me every step of the process. I cannot find a vehicle close to me the same value and the ones I did find are 8-10k more.
Gary told me I had a limited disability policy. My local agent told me that was not true. He withheld my funds for weeks saying that he sent a check but it was the wrong amount. Again another lie. The moment I signed the Power of attorney, my funds were released. My local agent and my lawyer said there is no way to fight for the value of my car once the POA was signed. I asked Gary three times if the signing of the POA would effect my ability to prove my car was worth more. I sell cars and I looked everywhere. The value is higher and he clearly lied to entice me to sign the POA which left me powerless. Most importantly he lied about my policy! Weeks of runaround and no way to actually get a similar vehicle, not a good experience at all.
It has Been a nightmare dealing with Allstate since my accident and I had full coverage on my vehicle. Their adjuster was so rude, and what she wanted to give me for my car was half of what my car was worth. I had to go through a lot of BS just to get a little more than what the adjuster wanted to give me which was not what my car was worth. I will never do business with Allstate again and I do not recommend Allstate Insurance unless you want to go through a nightmare when you have an accident.

My car was damaged by the guy who had insurance with this Allstate.

I was involved in an accident and instructed by the officer to submit a form to Allstate for proof of insurance. The manager Cierra refused to comply stating it was my responsibility. It states on the FR10 to be completed by the insurance company.
Do not do business with Allstate Insurance on any level. I had a collision with a deer on December 11th, 2021, and that is when everything went to h*** in a speeding bus. First, the roadside assistance that I pay additional money didn't arrive for over four hours. Next, the claims adjuster provided me a lowball estimate to which they stated they wouldn't pay, because I only had liability although the police report directly stated the collision with the deer was not my fault. They did stated it did not matter that it wasn't my fault, and I should not have followed the advice of their salesperson when I purchased the policy. I then took the vehicle to a shop that provided a repair estimate of $8,362.26 which was more than the overall value of the vehicle. I then chatted with multiple agents that provided me the same, old story. I'm sorry there is nothing we can do although we took your money for months knowing the repair costs were more than the vehicle's value. Each agent stated I understand your frustration, but there is nothing we can do for your liability policy. PLEASE, PLEASE do not purchase any policies from this company. I'm confident I'm not the first person that they have done this to, but I'm going to try to make myself the last.
I am writing this review after a hail storm we called Allstate and told them they said to take pictures of the vehicle so they wouldn't even send an adjuster out. So we had to do the clowns work for them and they still would not honor the estimate we gave them. So my Mom had to spend 2 hrs on the phone with people who probably didn't get out of preschool. They told her they would use refurbished parts for anything that needed to be replaced. That is what kind of jokers we are dealing with at Allstate. These people are worse than the Corona Virus so stay away from these clowns they are pathetic.
I received a telemarketing call from an Allstate agent today; called the number back to find out why they called. The robot answering machine put me on hold to find a human, gave me a few seconds of music, then hung up on me. I assume it was the agent who rudely hung up, but another good reason not to do business with him. I dumped them years ago when their rates were twice as high as anyone else. (The agent's number is now blocked, won't have to deal with him again)
Watch out for John Piotrowski & Doane…they are not your friend. They'll do everything to screw you over—Run for the hills if you see those names.
Allstate made me believe I had full coverage insurance and when my son totaled my truck they said all I had was liability and refuses to pay my truck off because I still owe money on it. Allstate has horrible customer service 1 star was selected because 0 was not an option and is exactly what they deserve
My car has been in the shop for 34 days and I'm still waiting for them to fix my car. A adjuster found so many things wrong with the car including the frame of the car being bent. I was told by the adjuster that Allstate told them what they wanted to repair and had the adjuster write a estimate for the 3rd time and used the 3rd estimate because it was the cheapest one. Don't waste your time or money on Allstate. And for the ones that's giving 5 stars are Allstate friends and family they begging to do a review to look good. Allstate is a rip off.
I mean very unprofessional, they cancelled my policy while it was paid for and didn't want to give me a refund for my remaining 24 days. I had to dispute with my bank. I see why their #1 on the top ten worse insurance company's list.
Answer: Geico, Progressive, State Farm. They're all the same and rates are based on YOUR personal driving history.
Answer: Because my husband chose them. Now he's gone and I think, so is Allstate.
Answer: You will be on Hold for a while... then you'll get someone who may or may not give you correct information. Be prepared to call back MANY times.
