Don't shop ali express

I've shopped 'ali' three times at least... one was great! My issue is the return policies for errors in what was advertised and what was sent. This last time is the cutest! Order very nice & in english with seller. Upon arrival product was three times to small. Ok, simply return right? No, all future contacts with seller were in Chinese and the translation screen was of no help. Tried to email ' Ali " for help... none available. So, now i have the second product I will give to charity... might be the third... so exasperating i try not to remember. If this company continues in business they will have to go a long way in improvements before I trust them again. I simply say " DON'T "!

Purchased a pair of LED headlights for my car, from 'LED Leader' in China. http://www.aliexpress.com/item/2015-Newest-4th-Gen-60W-8000LM-Kit-ETI-LED-Headlight-30W-4000LM-9006-HB4-9012-Bulbs/*******903.html
There were supposed to come with a 2 year warranty. One of the lights died after just a month. I tried emailing the seller with no response. I also contacted customer service, and still no response. My credit card company won't reimburse me for car parts. Basically, I'm out $50 US. WILL NEVER BUY OR RECOMMEND ANYTHING FROM ALIEXPRESS EVER AGAIN! TOTAL SCAM!

I began shopping from aliexpress last year and from that point I have continued doing business with them. I find that they offer quality products, free shipping when orders are over a certain amount and fast. I travel a lot and received compliments every time. Because I'm known in my hometown to be a very classy and sophisticated lady they assume that what I am wearing they probably can't afford but I share with them this website when I tell them how much I paid for it. I also tell them that how the rich stay rich by being smart shoppers.

No refund, just bull$#*!.

The received product was due for refund. Dispute was opened and..."finished" and my refund "processed"... I never received it though...
On my E-mails they send me to look here and there at my bank statements, but of course
There were no sign of any refund...
Than AliExpress simply stopped answering, instead Postmaster was delivering back my messages as the Complains E-mail address was fake.

I have never really had any issues with them. I have bought 20-30 things off there, and maybe had one incident, but wasn't even a big deal enough for me to remember at all. I adore the site and my sister uses it too without any issue either. I recommend it to my friends.

I have been having bad luck lately with this site. Crooked sellers, and scammers. I had a order from two sellers in the last two months that were "frozen" because of fake sellers. I am so depressed, I have to wait for a refund, and all my Christmas gifts i ordered for gifts are cancelled. They have no real people only a robot to talk to. I used to feel good about shopping here but lately its froze lost orderes and sellers selling broken products. I am really sad and descuraged instead of excited im sad. I just dont know who to trust here anymore.

THERE IS NO BUYER PROTECTION WHATSOEVER HERE. IT'S NONSENSE. I AM DOWN $2670. BUYER LIED, SAID GOODS WERE SENT AND GAVE ME A DUFF TRACKING NUMBER. BEEN WAITING OVER A MONTH AND SO CALLED PROTECTION HAS RUN OUT. NO-ONE HELPS, AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!

First I'd like to say many people are getting frustrated because it is hard to understand its site.
Ali really should have a local place in the USA to handle its American customers.
But the fault lays on us a bit as well.
We all want the best for the cheapest, Well the old saying "You get what you pay for" comes into play. I found if I start my search with "Highest Rated" sellers and then look for a good price, I have almost no problems at all.
DO NOT JUST LOOK UNDER CHEAPEST PRICE FIRST.
Second, When I did get ripped off (Before I learned this lesson) The nice lady from Ali spent almost 3/4 hour to walk me through and get the seller to pay up.
I have been buying through Ali for about a year now.
It is getting better, And is still a great deal if you are careful.
CHECK YOU YOUR SELLER FIRST.
AliExpress is the same as eBay, They do not sell the items.
There are bad sellers out there. "Let the buyer beware" is the standard in any sale.

Sure there's some dodgy businesses on Ali, but no more than you'd find on eBay. I've been an AliExpress user for almost 3 years with only a small amount of problems. The toughest part is finding a supplier that can supply the number of items reliably. Once you find 'em stick with them and you'll gain a great business relationship.

I bought a Bluetooth speaker and the battery would not charge. I disputed the item because it didn't work as intended. I sent the seller a video of the defective speaker, they offered to give me half of my money back if I left 4 stars, for a product that only works when plugged in. I told the seller that there was no way I could leave 4 stars for a product that did not work as advertised. Aliexpress took over the dispute and promptly gave the seller full purchase price. I'm left with a usb cord, because I threw the speaker away. I'm very displeased with the quality of items and aliexpress customer service. I have bought several items from aliexpress in the past. Be wary of electronic items. I believe I have bought my last item here.

Their jewelry is advertised as pure 925 sterling silver, however, none of the rings or earrings I received were sterling. Some were nickel alloy, and some were silver plated.

I also ordered a winter jacket on 24/9/2015. It said will be delivered 15-45 days but till now hasn't arrived yet.! From the beginning I already feel suspicious with this website but I was lured by the discount price and pictures. Having just read all the reviews, I am freaking scared that I would be the next victim.

I have been waiting for my goods for 3 months. I checked their location and it turned out they are sent to another country because of the reason "not full address". So I have found out that our country want to have full name of the buyer, but Aliexpress has a standard form where they mention only the name. This situation lasts for a while, and they have been informed about these requirements. But they haven't changed the address form yet, in spite of customers complaints! And all my goods are somewhere else, but not in my country.

Avoid like the plague!

I ordered an item from seller in Aliexpress. Waited a few MONTHS for the delivery and the item was sent to a different country. I escalated a dispute and advised for a couple of WEEKS to see if the item arrives. Still NO ITEM. Then I'll have to wait for a couple more days so that someone from Aliexpress can review the case.

REALLY SLOW in resolving disputes and claims. BUYER PROTECTION IS A JOKE. You cannot call them on the phone only CHAT (good luck finding the link).

You cannot leave a feedback to the seller when you do not complete a transaction (buyer confirmed that the goods were received) hence only positive feedback can be seen. DECEITFUL!

I lost a couple of hundred of dollars because of AliExpress. I've been a victim of fraud in eBay as well but that was my fault (did not use PayPal). However eBay's support is better and quicker that Aliexpress (THERE IS NO SUPPORT! ALL YOU CAN DO IS WAIT AND HOPE)

AVOID ALIEXPRESS!
