Took a few weeks for order to be delivered after I got an 'order has shipped' notification. I realize that might not be Alibris' fault.

The experience was good overall. However, the shipping took slightly longer than expected to arrive and is the reason why I gave it 4 out of 5 stars for that category, but other than that everything else was great.

You had the book that I need and at a good price. The information provided was helpful in selecting the book dealer that I choose. The check out is user friendly.

A wide variety of merchandise in various categories. The filters are easy to use, and (in most cases) the descriptions of the items are detailed, which certainly helps in deciding whether to buy or not.

Was sent the wrong movie with a similar title, was promptly shipped a replacement

Using the Alibris site is very easy to navigate. I have also found the pricing to be the best compared to other used book stores..

Occasionally, I will come upon a new author. If they look interesting, ai will buy one of their books. If I like it, I will return to Alibris and purchase more of the same author.

I have wanted novels. Popular Science, Textbooks generally pretty quickly at the beginning of the semester and at a price students can afford. Albris has come through for me many times. Due to their philosophy of reusing books efficiency they are playing a significant role in the formation of my thesis. Can't be surpassed - use Albris. Thank you Albris. #1

Alibis doesn't feel like a corporate greedy entity and I get to boycott amazon. I find almost any book I look for and easily pay and it is delivered timely enough. Thank you

Great selection and smooth ordering except for some confusion with changing some information on the website. But all in all, alibris is a wonderful book seller.

Found exactly what I wanted - checked out - created an account

When I try to see if a book is also available in hardback or signed by the author, the website forces me to reverse in order to return to the main listing. Wasted time accrues.

I had looked everywhere for this book without success. But when I found Alibris, I searched the site and found the book I wanted immediately and at a great price! It shipped quickly and arrived in very good condition.

I looked up a book I wanted and then I bought it. User interface is easy. I recommend an advanced search option. In an ideal world you could look at the table of contents of books.

I had found books that I was happy with and had them in my cart. My password didn't work and I had to reset it. Once I did that, my cart was cleared and the inexpensive books I had found were no longer available, so I had to find more expensive versions. It's possible they were sold in the interim, but I think that more likely they were assigned to my no-longer-accessible when-I-wasn't-yet-logged-in cart and will sit there until it times out. Clearing my cart and then having the things in my cart be inaccessible is a pretty frustrating way to treat a customer.

Also, forcing me to allow my feedback to be published on public websites is very off-putting. I would far rather address this problem privately with you and let you improve your process. It was 2 stars until your feedback box refused to let me submit feedback without making it public.

I ordered one book from Alibris. All is fine with Alibris but the US Postal Service sent the book around several states (even past my town!) for three weeks before delivering it! The book went past my town to western North Dakota then back past my town east to Wisconsin before going to northern North Dakota for a brief time. Finally reached my mailbox! Thank goodness for a tracking number that proved the order existed! None of that is in Alibris's control. The package was clearly labeled and addressed properly. Shame on the US Postal "Service"!
