I just paid more in shipping $140 than the books cost. I had no choice because I need the books for the 7th grade students. NONE of the coupons would work for my purchase. I think something can be done about this.

I was going to see if I could get the same books from one vendor at a lower price when I noticed that Alibris had already done the work. I could let my initial order stand or choose the one of my initial sellers who had them both and even save a little. That would certainly speed up shipping, too. Alibris just presents it as an option and doesn't force you to pick the option. You can stay with your initial choice if you like the vendor. How about that? Doing something for the customer!

I've been able to find pretty much any books that I've ever searched for on this site, as long as I could remember the title. So, many rare, odd or out of print books from childhood that got lost along the way that I wanted for my library, etc. Easy to navigate, then select from among available copies by price, condition, seller, etc to suit my needs. Have never had any problems with order fulfillment from any of the sellers. Love this site!
I just ordered a book. It arrived so tightly wrapped that it took 8 minutes while sitting on a street bench to even open it. That's overkill.

My dog ate my entire Bible while I was out today. It was my old friend; old and rare, but I was able to find it here on Alibris! All I have left is the top of one page of Acts 9 and 10. If only this could improve the behavior of that dingbat dog.
Website wonky today. I was offered several choices to purchase the book as usual. Made my choice, then site said the book was no longer available and offered to help me find a similar book. Had to refresh, reload site, and choose a different seller to make purchase of same title.
