Excellent! Took me 5 minutes to take care of my specific book order and all the alternatives were ranked very handily and made it easy for me to select the specific edition.

Shipping to Canada was a bit convoluted. I ordered the book from a location in Salt Lake City because it is has an international shipping location for USPS. I found it odd that the book was shipped with tracking to California where it was accepted by the Alibris network and subsequently shipped to me without a tracking number. No where along the way was I informed that this would happen so what I saw was it was shipped to an address that was not my own and accepted by someone in the US. It was not noted that Alibris had received the shipment and that it would be forwarded to me. It looked like my book was shipped and accepted by some person and I thought it was gone for ever. It was only after I contacted Alibris, through the original shipper, that I found out it was now shipped to me in Canada, without a tracking number. The date that it was supposed to arrive passed so I again emailed Alibris and was told that I should just wait another 30 days and if it didn't arrive by then to contact them again. It did arrive a few days later (almost a week late) so I am grateful for that but have been left quite frustrated with the process.
I do not understand why it was not shipped directly to me via USPS, which is able to ship directly to our federal postal service (which in the end delivered the book) but rather forwarded through another service, a middle man, which I certainly do not believe was actually needed. The uncertainty and lack of confirming communication was quite frustrating. Fortunately the book I ordered was a common textbook that was inexpensive so if it was lost I wouldn't be out much so I wasn't too stressed. If it had been a rare expensive book I would have not been as happy with the service.
So to recap, I am happy with the book. I am happy with the seller of the book and how they initially shipped it. I am very disappointed with the fact that it was redirected to a middleman and with the lack of a tracking number and communication from Alibris.

Easy order and payment through online site. The book was large, but it was well packaged and delivered without damage.

Hard to say a lot about a new order. I guess your website works as you have promised delivery. Have we reached fifty characters yet?

I thought I was buying an ePub copy of book, instead I was buying an encrypted copy where I have to use vital source and bookshelf to read, meaning I had to create yet another account and download yet another app. Screw you for the bait and switch. Thankfully not an expensive mistake but one I'll NEVER make again. Even though it's a pittance, I'd like my money back.

Book as described...shipping is costly and very slow to international destinations

Great experience, but I didn't know the seller had to ship my book to Alibris and then it would be shipped to me from there, the tracking didn't follow my package the whole way so I got stressed and confused, other than that, quick delivery and item was as expected. The shipping was more than originally predicted too which I wasn't keen on.

Shipping kills me, at least at coupon or buy this much get free shipping. I spend hundreds@ Thriftbooks they have GREAT incentives!
