I am making a quilt for my nephew and his fiancée as a wedding gift. They chose a Hawaiian pattern, but I had never made one before. I was happy to find this explanatory book at a good price to help me create the quilt.

I ordered a hardbound book from Thriftbooks. They sent a paperback. They were going to send it from Reno, NV. Which is real close to where I live. It came from Texas...several days late. The book was going to be a birthday gift...I am NEVER going to purchase from Thrift books again!

Couldn't use $5 off coupon because the coupon field disappeared. Tried starting over, tried everything. No place to stick the darn code I got for signing up. Not cool.

I tend to look for older, wonky books--Alibris is fetching them as fast as I can order them.

I was very pleased with the book. It was better than described, which was extra nice because it is going to be a gift. The shipping took longer than expected and there wasn't a valid tracking number. It would've helped to be able to track it, but it arrived and all is good and I'm very pleased with my purchase.

Don't know how book will look, but if your not satisfied it's usually not hard to get a refund.

Shipping price is more than the actual cost of shipping for a book of this size to Canada. Please set limits as to the amount of shipping that can be charged from the USA to Canada. The USA booksellers are increasing their profits by over-charging on shipping! Thank you.
