I generally get more choices for purchasing used text books and I appreciate the savings that Alibris offers. I do not need a new text just to read for my course work.

I found out about this awesome book from my school. I looked it up and found out that the most affordable option for it, a used - out of print - title, was Alibris. Ordering was easy, and it said it would take about a week to ship. It came the day it was expected! Haven't been happier with any other order I've made from other sites!

I have recently discovered Alibris as a resource to buy textbooks for our school. I have been very pleased with the vendors and the quality of the condition of the books we have received.

It took me a LONG time and several tries to place my order. The site automatically put in a shipping address from a long-ago order and then would not let me erase that old shipping address and replace it with my own address (since the book is for me this time). I finally got it to work by NOT checking "payment and shipping address are the same" (which is true) and then hitting "add a new address", even though it's not a new address - just my original home address, which is also my billing address.

Great - I love the optimized suggestions, but I'd like to be able to select some to accept and some to stick with the original (knowing the offer/pricing may change and not be the fully optimized cart)

I haven't shopped here enough to give a review yet, but your site feedback tool (sitejabber) makes these fields required. I have had a great experience so far.

Pls simplify the 'salutation' change process. Remember people who see it are going to instantly see it as an annoyance, even if it's meant to protect them.

I found this order more of a hassle, with regard to cart's contents and payment page, but all in all it was ok and I was successful. Perhaps it's a good thing that you are not so easy due to the cyberhackers.
I still think your shipping charges are a bit high, but that is life. Thank you. I'm very glad to have ALIBRIS as an alternative to A... n!

Alibris is ok except I was not notified that my book purchase had been delivered to my Prep Center, I had to research and find out on my own.
It's Thrift Books Atlanta I am most dissatisfied with. Several times they have advertised their books as one condition and they were delivered and graded in worse condition. I won't be buying from Thrift Books - Atlanta anymore. Thank you

I ordered a book on October 19. When I went to pay, I got an error message saying the order did not go through. So I re-ordered the book right away and that payment went through. Unfortunately for me, the first payment also went through and I ended up getting two copies of the book in the mail and of course I had to pay for both copies. At the moment that I saw the first order had gone through, I contacted Alibris immediately and was told I had to contact the shipper. I contacted the shipper immediately and they said there was nothing I could do.

It wasn't a huge deal as the books were not that expensive, but it made me hesitant to use Alibris in the future.

Took a while to get my Visa Card accepted. I appreciated that the cost of the book was low. I did not like that shipping was so very expensive plus having to pay tax.

I selected five books. It was easy. The costs were very good. Shipment arrived faster than I has hoped. A very good experience.

I enjoyed it all untill checkout froze. I sent a message, got reply today & replied to it & then finally got my order form returned with a working checkout & I did! Laborious but all's well that ends well! Thanks so much for your help!

I've order the same book from two different companies on Alibris that have it in stock to be followed up a day later. Sorry not in stock anymore. I do like the prices, when I can get a book from here
