This is the first website I have found this book for under $100 that is actually a book and not an e-book or digital copy. This book is not e-book friendly for the homework and my school didn't offer it in a hard copy. I also don't understand paying $150 for a used a book that isn't even the most recent edition.

It is easy to shop and find good stuff with Alibris. There are always good things to purchase, especially in college textbooks!

Easy quick check out. I do wish there was a photo if the book but I understand that would take a lot of time on the booksellers end so no worries.

Unclear process: I was uncomfortable being required to pay Alibris for the books before being informed of (and agreeing to) the shipping costs.

Shipping charges were unclear and inconsistent: The shipping information I read stated that the first book would cost approximately $5 to ship, with additional books costing about $3 each. However, I was charged the higher rate for both books. I assume this is because they were from different sellers, but this was not made clear in the shipping information I reviewed prior to purchase.

Misleading shipping discount offer: While browsing your website, I followed a pop-up that stated I would receive $5 off shipping if I subscribed. After subscribing and proceeding to checkout, I learned that the discount only applies to purchases of $50 or more. This condition was not disclosed upfront, and felt misleading and disappointing.

Amazing website for inexpensive reused books and music. I love it so much and I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to buy anything from anywhere with a vast range of different types of books and music

Everything was legit and on time with my order. It's just the most ragged used book I've ever received online. I've purchased many.

I have some doubts regarding the data I have provided; I don't know if it is deleted or if it remains recorded on the "alibris" website.

95 percent of the time the book and order are fine. Shipping in bags and not indicating " remainder" books is a pain. I now only purchase from 5 star listing, which seems to really help. Policing dishonesty must be difficult, holding dealers responsible for dishonest listings is the only way!

Glad you have the books I want. I couldn't find them on other sites probably due to who controls those sites (as well as our country).

Easy to find books and multiple sellers. Books have always been as described; HPB, Goodwill and others have always been good with shipping and follow-up.

I was looking for a book that was published in 1985 and this was the only site that I could find a copy at.
The book is in good condition and I am very pleased to now own it.

It was easy to find what I needed, and get them ordered. Would like to have had the option to do expedited shipping on all of my items.

The problem i had was trying to check out, i had to click over and over to check out without it going to check out when i tried it once more and it went to the page where it finally added the tax and allowed me to check out. I was ready to say forget it to try later. Constructive complaint, things happen, glad i found the book though.

Totally satisfied. Can't beat the price. A little-known author, Jake Lamar (has to be a nom de plume) is an American jazz musician and creative writing prof living in Paris. I devoured the book, a crime novel in which the protagonist is a gangster, the brutal not romanticized type. I have already passed it on to a fellow musician.

Easy app to use. Search your title, find your price and pay. That's it!
Books seem to usually arrive within a week or two. The bookstores listed are all reliable, I'm sure. I've never had a problem.

I am pleased that the shipping charge is not $5.99 per book regardless of vendor. However I am puzzled that it costs $18.95 to ship 5 identical books from one location using a standard rate, not expedited. I am thankful that they are available.

In the search for copies of the Game Changers series - including Heated Rivalry - Alibris came in CLUTCH when I found each of them, at the same vendor, for a GREAT price!

I found two books that were not available at my otherwise well-stocked public library. The search process was very easy, including being able to set parameters for quality of book and seller.
