Alibris has a wide variety of selections, often a a variety of costs. It is quick and easy to locate what is needed and easy to place an order.
We are a military homeschool family who uses a classical model curriculum. For my two boys, I prefer historical fiction that focuses on strong, valiant characters. Thus, I often need books not available at the local libraries, or books that are out of print. I prefer to buy used books when I can, anyhow; they have greater character - and I love the little things people often leave between the pages. This was my first order with Alibris after many years utilizing a different company that had good prices but poor customer service. This order, indeed, was to replace an order that the other company failed to ship. I like that I was able to choose not only between a used or new book, but I could choose the exact publication and print that I wanted. I like that Alibris advises from whence each book ships. And I really like that Alibris utilizes a site to follow-up on the order - and identifies the site as a 3rd party instead of making the email sound like it's from a human when it's clearly not. I am quite pleased with this experience and will, from this time forward, be using Alibris exclusively for my used book needs.

I tried to order this same book tonight from many companies... half way through the process, I always encountered some road-block. NOT with Alibris though. Alibris makes ordering a book and payiing for it very easy and enjoyable. I had heard others say Alibris Is Great. Truly it is.
