Normally I do not have any issues with your site, however, today I found concern with your checkout process. As I proceeded to check out 2 books, the site asked me to update my card information. For separate reasons, I decided to not purchase today and stepped away from my laptop for a moment.
My cellphone received a notification from my bank stating that a purchase had been made from Alibris. I immediately responded to the text to communicate that this was not authorized (see photo) and checked my laptop. I hadn't updated the card information like it had asked and I had not confirmed my purchase. Additionally, I looked at my Alibris purchasing history and it said that I hadn't purchased any books today.
I'm concerned with your transaction portal. I do not want to be charged for items that I did not confirm.
Please advise. Thank you!

It is easy to compare books by price and facility, but annoying not to have an idea of the shipping costs before checkout.

I enjoy shopping Alibris, they have served my needs well. My hope is they will some how make it possible to bring forth the same vendors so shipping costs could be saved with out extensive time to search each item for the same vendor.

Just getting textbooks for class. 978-0-7637-3889-1 (ISBN) is 1st edition, yet you have it listed as 2nd edition. I verified on several other websites. Thought you'd want to know.

Answer: I saw the fake stellar reviews and did not dig deeper. I til... I had an issue. Initially, I wanted to give a small seller some business after COVID and the site looked really good. What a big mistake that was! Shame on this outfit.
