Al iris is always good. They always have the books that I want at a good price and they are always in good condition.
I ordered "Transcending The Sppeed of Light" in my iphone but didn't have my password with me. When I got home you did not have the book listed when an hour earlier it was in my cart on my phone.
Book was listed for $30. I put it in my cart and started checkout process. Tried to check out as a guest. Alibris told me that I already had an account. Couldn't remember old password. By the time I had reset my password, the book had disappeared from my cart. All of this took around 5 minutes. Alibris provided a message basically saying that the book had been purchased. There was another copy in similar condition, which was $50 more. I bought the $85 copy but I don't believe that Alibris suddenly had a run on Creekmore Fath's "The Lithographs of Thomas Hart Benton" (1979) during the few minutes between my starting checkout process and signing into my Alibris account!
