The prospective buyer should be able to see the price for shipping before entering the payment info in case one is to high or it shows no shipping charge. I had both things happen to me so I had to go back and remove 2 book and resubmit with a different seller to correct both issues.

To my surprise based on past performance, Thriftbooks' paperback was in very poor condition while Goodwill's was in very good condition as described. I will be donating the book from Thriftbooks and keeping the book from Goodwill.
The person I purchased the book from through Alibris sent the book quickly. I paid over $14 for the book, and it came with a sticker that said $2. Quite a difference. I do not regret the purchase, however, because I had been unable to get this book elsewhere. Only by reading this book could I know that it wasn't actually worth getting. The author still had a ways to go before writing a few really good books, all of which I already have.

One book I purchased was in bad shape when it was sold as very good condition. Alibris said they would refund the whole price of the book and shipping costs without sending the book back. This sounded like excellent customer service. I don't think I ever received the refund.
