I though the estimated shipping would be corrected on checkout. You overcharged me by $1 for shipping. $3.49 and $4.49 equals $7.98 not $8.98. I expected this to be corrected. I have pictures of the books (the $3.49 shipping is actually only a pamphlet) of the shipping charges so I have proof of what the cost should have been. If you need to see them and can't look it up on your website, although I don't know why you couldn't, email me and I'll send the. This is the first time I've shopped on you website, and I do almost all my buying online, but even if it is only a $1 this leaves a very bad taste in my mouth, and I defiantly won't be back if this is not easily corrected. Carts and wishlists appear to expire for guests, and do so far sooner than the 12-hour holding period for items added to one's cart. This means it's possible to lose an item from the cart (because the whole cart expired), but not be able to add the item back to the cart (because the item is still being "reserved"). I don't know what the actual expiration period is, but it appears to be a few hours at most. It should be at least *days* long, if not weeks.

Beyond that, I find the way that items are presented fairly confusing, especially when the same basic item (e.g. CD or DVD) shows up as several different search result items. The site should do a better job of consolidating search data and of making clear to the user what the item really is.

It's been a learning experience, discerning the viable vendors from the not-so reliable ones. However I've had some very positive experiences, so I'm pleased with having a site where I can support local businesses and get the specific books that I need.

I've been totally pleased with everything I have ever ordered from Alibris from books to videos. I'm glad someone told me about this website a long time ago.

Your book prices are low, but your shipping is higher than most.

Been buying through Alibris for years. Sometimes loo elsewere, but have always bought through Alibris. Have never got to use a discount as most of my years of buying never meets the cost point to use. Wish it would be available to me.
